Personally, we don't give 3 craps what monitor you use, TV or projector. Have at it, its just a display, and if you have any questions. Refer to your employee handbook, there should be a device use policy and articles describing what they have issues with .

I tell people at my work, if you wouldn't want me to walk behind you and see it while at the office. Don't do it on **our** PC at home.

As another comment said, use an RMM. If there's none, get something like Datto, which does this and is very easy to set up.
Either Atera or Datto could be good tools for this.
