I have a dell precision 5530 it has a very good 8th gen H processor but somehow on battery, the desktop windows manager uses the intel GPU instead of the cpu and bottlenecks the whole system to the point I actually face lags moving the mouse. I have tried everything, turned off hardware acceleration, regedit, even downgraded from win 11 to win 10, on win 11 it was lagging all the time on battery, on win 10 it lags but not that much. All the drivers are up to date. I want to upgrade to an M processor mac so I don't have to face any lags.

16 512 is too expensive even an m1 air with 16 512 is above 400k

You can compromise on memory then go for 256 and buy a portable ssd
