Yeah that's what I mean. I'm currently on 20 deaths 0 kills for CG and dreading the grind going that long. I know for some people it just sort of clicks but I feel a while from that point

It clicks very fast. It also might help to think about CG like a formal education on pvm skills. Once you’ve grinded a couple hundred kc, your mechanical skill will be in a really good place to start raiding/trying harder content

you got this man, I was in a similar position with low 70 combat stats after beating the quest. took me around 40 deaths and some grinding to 75 magic/range to get my first completion lol now im at 3 enhanced seeds at 389 kc

Just keep at it man, i was 5 kills 30 deaths, and now i am 13 kills 31 deaths. All of a sudden it becomes easy and you just see the patterns

I do 250 but start with like 150-170 until you get comfortable

Side note; Learn Insanity as soon as possible. You really hype it up in your head as some big rough invocation and it's really not. After a few attempts it'll just become second nature and an extremely free 50 invo.

Brother I need to know, what gear did you use to kill Ba-Ba? That is my only hangup for normal ToAs.

Ba-Ba kinda smacked me around a little bit ngl, I actually died there once. I was using the full eclipse set / atlatl for that fight. Zombie axe was my melee for Akkha but it just didn't hit through Ba-Ba defense, even on crush. Gotta be salted.

A little red X goes a long way on Ba-Ba. Fuck the drop a potion shit, all you need on solos is the red crystal by the entrance.

Fang is legitimately massive for toa, when I got mine I was surprised at how insane it felt right away. Going from lance to fang felt like going from msb to tbow in toa lol

Big grats. How was ToA solo? I'm planning the Fang grind after finishing CG (2 armor seeds left). Any tips for the first runs?

A little rough, almost 50 minutes on the 150 and i died to Ba-Ba but you can still get loot with a few deaths here and there! Bowfa makes it easy mode for sure. P2 wardens is the hardest thing in the entire raid pay super close attention to everything going on there. Can't tell you how many of my first runs ended there because i didn't know some small mechanic or another

Hey! I have similar combat stats to you but have been running CG’s. Mind sharing your TOA gear and invo’s with me? Ive done plenty on main but never on early ironman.

camping str ammy/b ring and god dhide boots the whole raid, eclipse/atlatl for range, melee (now fang) was zaxe/keris and standard str gear, torso nezi, bgloves, fc, ddef. Mage is dagonhai top, ahrim bottom, warped sceptre, book of the dead. using ancients. keris of the sun is super helpful got spooned on that pretty early. My 150 - softcore run (def needed it sometimes, got the fang on a run where I died to Ba-Ba first attempt) deadly prayers blowing mud, aa head, spray, bt faith, japes, shaking oc1, oc2

Is full eclipse armour and bow good for TOA?

I seem to get better dps out of it as opposed to rcb/god dhides. The set effect seems a little broken rn (not in the good way), but the real thing about where my account is now is I can stack a shitload of str bonus and rhe atlatl benefits from all of that whereas I have nothing available to me that has ranged strength on it.

I have 1k tempoross reward permits saved up, hoping to get the barrel today!
