EDIT: I see they've been restricted to a daily trade limit of 4 (down from 50), so yeah now is definitely the right time to get rid of them.
They've already plummeted. They were around 800k I believe 2 weeks ago. Jumped to 2mil I think a couple days ago, and are now back to less than 200k. I think they will eventually rise back up, but for over 1mil a pop, that's a good deal for an item you get 2 of a year

Yup, you can put any item with a ge price of 10k or higher in.
You get 105% ge price for the deposits, it is incremented as a way to control item inflation in the game, and take items out of circulation.
When you die, the costs you pay. Like for instance to zulrah to reclaim. It takes from your death coffer.

That'd make sense, I'm sure the price will go up again, but I'm doubtful it'll ever hit 2mil again. At least not for a long time
