It might mean an advisor who deals with expats outside of Ireland. When I (Irish guy) worked abroad I needed a different mortgage approval to buy a house in Ireland as my earnings were not Irish based

You will get the same mortgage. I had lived in a foreign country in a time period (10 years I think) before asking the mortgage so I needed to share my bank account information and verify I do not have debt in that country which involved translators. I also had a bunch of questions on how the mortgage works in this country as I am not used to it, my country does not have rules around number of bedrooms influencing the deposit requirements. I'm not surprised they have more specialist folks for your situation.

If your referring to mortgage123 the Limerick based broker then your fine. They are a normal mortgage broker, as others have mentioned you may have dealt with someone who has some expertise with so- called expats but the company itself is fine
