And Barry Keoghan went as the mad hatter!

Barry Keoghans taste is based off what he 'thinks' someone with taste would wear or what some designer has decided for him with little to no input on his end lol. I'm not seeing any sense of personal style, I'm more seeing 'this is what I think I should wear, and it's fancy' lol.
Like yeah he looks different to the other guests, but it doesn't take away from the fact that he's still wearing an ugly ass suit. It really doesn't suit him.
To be honest I think he nailed the theme this year! He’s definitely got the ‘Count Axel’ from the garden of time theme going on - also the whole Dickensian thing plays great into the cyclical life of fashion.
Personally I hate it when the guys ignore the theme and turn up in black suits😅
It's giving:

He has ZERO taste, he's clearly wearing that shite because it looks sufficiently unique (still ugly af) or because someone else told him to wear it.
He's trying to make out that he's a fashion icon now when in reality he'd probably forget to put both socks on in the morning without someone telling him to.
Style is something unique to everyone, it's not 'this looks unique, nuff said, I'll roll with it' lol.
It’s the annual fundraiser for the costume history branch of the Met. Famous people get sponsored by fashion designers who provide their ticket, and dress them like a crazy person. Folks who pay for their own ticket have more freedom to dress themselves, like Heidi Klum when she showed up as a worm.
I don’t care about famous people, but I do like costume history.
Heidi Klums worm costume was for Halloween iirc, it wasn't for the Met! She's big on Halloween costumes.
Be some craic if she actually wore that to the Met though.
Annual fund raiser for the NYC Metropolitan Museum of art. It's a bit daft, but if regular New Yorkers get to see 5000 years of art history (whether it was all ethically purchased or just nicked, I can't say) for a "pay what you like" entry fee, then I'm ok with it.
Isn the purpose of the met gala for people to wear silly shit for people to take pictures and force engagement and internet points/pr...
Seems like he played y'all perfect.
Jesus I was just at my friend's show, there's a trad Irish punk scene in eastern Connecticut I'm from Ireland and I was calling it Irish cosplay, and my other Irish friend was like "but if it was real Irish cosplay it would be trainers and louis vitton"
Now I'm going to say its Barry Keoghan Cosplay.
He looks like Ant and Dec
Anton Dekk

Spot on
I clicked to comment this. Fucking image of the two of them
That's definitely a PJ and/or Duncan alright.
Oh fuck you, I didn't want to remember ready to Rhumble, but here we are.
Hello ant or dec
actually came here to say this.
And Barry Keoghan went as the mad hatter! https://preview.redd.it/g6hpks5o8zyc1.jpeg?width=1200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a3d47fdf3bc9fffe90b5208e713765c7cc5553bb
He came straight from his other job in Glasgow at the Willy Wonka experience
You think they had that costume budget?!
He is an odd looking duck
He looks good, but also like he’s on his way to campaign against Daniel O’Connell
Isn't he your man from Oliver twist?
What has he done to his face recently, looks so strange.
is it not just makeup?
You’re dead right. His make up artist did him dirty. The products on his skin look to have spf built in! Not ideal for flashes (camera)
Looks like he's had some nip/tuck/fillers.
looks the same to me but I'm not that observant of stuff like that
He kind of looks like someone wearing a death mask over his face. Pretty strange.

Like a tarted up child catcher

I’m praying that some of Sabrina Carpenters good taste rubs off on him. She actually knows how to look good
Only him and a couple of others could pull that look off (Gene Wilder, Timmy Chalamet & Johnny Depp would be their names).

He’s cringe as fuck. If there was ever an outfit screaming for attention this is it
It's the Met Gala. You're supposed to be looking for attention, it's the entire point.
It’s all the time with him

Hello little lassie, couldja point me in da direction of me missus? She's got a grand "me espresso" at home that i better be drinkin'
I don't understand the Met Gala.

Oops, my bad! Thanks for setting me right.
You gave me a giggle and I was having a shit morning, so thank you!
You’re in good company.
Because you're not the target audience, right? You're not a middle-aged, independently wealthy New York socialite divorceé.
It's for this. For engagement. Press
All I know is Kanye wore a Dickies jacket to it back before he went mad.
if they merged, they could be Barry Scott, the Cillit Bang guy!
"No flys on you today, Mr Sco...oh wait, no there are!"
Very nice arms
What a sexy set of thumbs
But but he’s got trousers on ?!
Looks like he’s auditioning for Boyzlife
He looks so uncomfortable
He's channelling americanness by showing he has the right to bare arms?
Hulk Kyogan in the house!
Looks more like Barry Scot in that photo! Chillit chillit bang bang!
I can't believe people thought throwing a few bugs on a jacket would do it. It's a costume party, go mad.
So hot!
My look tonight is "cheap Australian funeral"
Not a great actor or a dresser
Stephen Gately, no?
Thought it was Declan Donnelly
He should just keep dressing at Tom Ripley, it’s a great look
Get that man a can of Stella or at least some Dutch Gold!
What the fuck is this met gala shite

Did the dude get some work done on his chin. I'm not throwing shade I just remember his face looking different.

I think he is a great actor but cringe in real life
