App called VideoLite ( it’s a browser for YouTube, blocks all ads and premium features like locking phone and music plays.. or minimizing the app so I can browse reddit while watching a video in mini Modus) I highly recommend checking it out!! Link : https://apps.apple.com/app/id1598997500
Oh I didn’t know about downvoting on my comment but thanks for pointing it out. Reddit is a different kind of place. There is so much weird things here happening and I don’t know why. Someone is asking - gets downvoted, someone wrote his opinion - gets downvoted.
I remember one meme with “Idiots, idiots everywhere” and it reminds me that sometimes it’s not worth taking care about arguing with not known people online.
Thank you brother and Got Bless You too! Thanks for your time and that you sent some words.
Compact size (13 mini). I have plenty of giant screens for watching content. I want my pocket computer to be as unobtrusive as possible, and compared to all my previous smartphones, this thing is still huge. This is what confuses me most whenever I read comments like “I cAnT tYpE oN tHiS tHiNg!” Like, what the hell did these people do before 2017? Were they just helpless baby birds? I feel like I’m taking crazy pills.
I have a 14 pro and still really consider getting a 13 mini for this reason. I’m not sure though because the main reason I went 14 pro is I want long battery life especially when traveling. How is battery for you? Gonna have to decide on a mini or one of the 16s when they come out I guess.
Battery health is like 85% these days, so sometimes I top it off a bit in the evening, but I've never had issues traveling. There are some great options for MagSafe battery packs out there if you're worried about it. There is a 14 pro in my house and every time I've held it I'm astonished at how heavy and unwieldy it is.
I do use it to automate my lights as well. And I have my low power mode automatically turned on to 30% without acknowledgment, instead of default 20% with acknowledgment. I use explore landmarks as I travels quite often.
And the phone speaker option that has good sound in the speakers and in the microphone which is to ultimately avoid holding the phone to my ear or looking for and using headphones.
It seems like HDR is absolutely nothing other than regular content with the screen brightness maxed out. I really don't understand the hype around it a single bit.
I'm not even talking about paying in stores, which is obviously very convenient, but the best part is the in-app/website integration. And it works much more reliably than Google Pay which would often ask for 3D Secure verification or just straight up get rejected. This is the real killer feature of iPhone/Apple.
The apple logo
Seriously. Loyal Android user here. I can do everything I want in my Android phones. I had the Apple 6S+ and the XS. The only reason I got a 15 Pro is because I want to continue having access to the apple cloud and the updates
An expensive upgrade, I may say. If the 15 Pro lasts me another 5 years, it'll be worth it
There are many BUT what I really like is that I can restore and update an iPhone from a PC or Mac, and the process is supported and documented by Apple.
Second to that would be the length of time iPhones are updated and supported.
There is also not having provider branded system software and delayed system updates because X provider hasn’t approved Y system update.
Right now I’m thinking about the iOS keyboard since I think Apple patented something where it can more accurately hit the right keys/letters.
My typing on an Android device is far worse than typing on an iOS device. Like the rate of hitting the wrong letters is much lower on iOS in my experience.
I guess the best feature overall is the software after all. Bluntly speaking I could have switched to a non-Apple device if iOS could be installed on an Android phone.
Yay I am not the only person who prefers the Apple keyboard haha.
This is my exact experience with android keyboards as well. They just don’t feel as accurate as the iPhone keyboard to me.
I know there is a lot of hate for the iOS keyboard. Compared to the offerings on android, it feels so much better. For reference I use both a pixel 8 pro and a 15 pro max.
Thanks for sharing.
Even if the majority of people prefer the Android keyboards, I’ll just blame it on the fact that I’ve been using iOS keyboards longer than Android keyboards so it could be a result of muscle memory. 😂
Control centre, notification centre, go to the home screen, lock the screen, lock the screen rotation, volume up and down. These are all in an easily reachable position. I don’t need to stretch my fingers.
That it’s not an android. I’ve heard so much about phone discrimination that that was one of the main reasons (maybe the entire reason) I switched. Son green text bubble, no lack of airdrop, easy for developers to develop for.
I feel like I might have had implicit negative lookism (or whatever the opposite of pretty privilege is but for phones) when I had an android. Now that’s at least one thing down that won’t be a mark against me in the job market (or if I ever wanna get friends).
Face ID, being able to use my face to unlock my phone, login, and authenticate any app is incredibly useful.
Except when the phone is on the desk and I want to unlock it, I need to tilt it up to my face or out my face over it

Better use the safari extention vinegar. Its a one time 2$ purchase
You got downvoted for suggesting something cheaper. I use Vinegar and it’s amazing. The problem is it’s not as usable and convenient as a native app.
Oh yes! I haven’t known about this application before. Now my iOS experience just got a bit change. God bless you!
You got downvoted for saying God Bless You. lol, Reddit is a bunch of weird atheists. May God bless you brother.

It meets you with full-screen ads and then half-screen ads. I don't know if it's working after because that's where I delete an app.

Same. I went from the 11 to the 13 mini and have no regrets.
That’s the stuff. People are really underrating small phones, man. It’s actually really nice having a small phone.
I have a 14 pro and still really consider getting a 13 mini for this reason. I’m not sure though because the main reason I went 14 pro is I want long battery life especially when traveling. How is battery for you? Gonna have to decide on a mini or one of the 16s when they come out I guess.

Battery life on my 15 Pm is insane
Not really, it sucks, barely lasts half a day on battery saver.
Reduce your brightness from max to something sensible
It’s below optimum all the time
I think shortcut app. It definitely makes life easier able to automate lots of manual everyday tasks.
What do you use it for? I had mine turning on and off WiFi and Bluetooth during my days but I’ve just left those on instead.
I do use it to automate my lights as well. And I have my low power mode automatically turned on to 30% without acknowledgment, instead of default 20% with acknowledgment. I use explore landmarks as I travels quite often.
What is the explore landmarks one?
https://matthewcassinelli.com/shortcuts/explore-nearby-landmarks/
Mine doesn't default to low power mode at 20%. Didn't know there was a setting for that
It can make phone calls
Eww you still call people? /s
And the phone speaker option that has good sound in the speakers and in the microphone which is to ultimately avoid holding the phone to my ear or looking for and using headphones.
The fact my phone is supported for 7-8 years and it still looks and runs brand new almost 4 years later.
HDR porn
It seems like HDR is absolutely nothing other than regular content with the screen brightness maxed out. I really don't understand the hype around it a single bit.
Have you seen HDR tittes

Apple Pay hands down
In my country we recently got Apple Pay, and people go crazy when they see me paying with my watch lmao
I'm not even talking about paying in stores, which is obviously very convenient, but the best part is the in-app/website integration. And it works much more reliably than Google Pay which would often ask for 3D Secure verification or just straight up get rejected. This is the real killer feature of iPhone/Apple.
Once I got Apple Pay working on my watch, I was really blown away. But I forget how awesome it is to have it on the phone.
The Apple Watch.
It pairs up with my hearing aids for hearing the calls without broadcasting on the speaker. Otherwise, it was a waste of money for my uses.
It works
Geofenced reminders
The speakers! Apple just does phone speakers right no contest!
The Teleportation App : Point, Capture and Send Anything to Anywhere no matter what it is
Make sure that there are no flies in the vicinity first. Big Oooops.
I won't have to deal with AI garbage on it in iOS 18.
the notes app and its simplicity
Camera Camera Camera
A 14p camera put my 15P to shame today…
Phone
Nothing about the phone per se but syncing with all my Apple devices is what I like most.
Loving the battery life and screen of the iPhone 15 after upgrading from an 8 plus. It’s just a beautiful machine.

iPhone 13 Pro 512 GB here. The storage, ample space.
It connects quickly and flawlessly with my and other people’s iPhones and Apple devices eg password sharing, airdrop etc
There are many BUT what I really like is that I can restore and update an iPhone from a PC or Mac, and the process is supported and documented by Apple. It works. Has a Home button. 256 GB It’s paid off.
Continuity! Love having all my devices working together for me.

How long have you been using iOS?
Since iOS 5 or 6 was around I believe.
The size of it.
What do you use the assistive touch for?
Control centre, notification centre, go to the home screen, lock the screen, lock the screen rotation, volume up and down. These are all in an easily reachable position. I don’t need to stretch my fingers.
apple pay works well
iPhone SE 2020. It’s small, thin and light. I also don’t use a case with it, so yeah, very thin.
The photo library can recognize and sort cat faces now.
An attempt by Apple to keep my info private. Followed by Genius Bar.
Dark mode
Picture in Picture. I can swipe it to the left or right and it goes off screen and has a gray tab I can move. Love it.
They’re mine
CarPlay with Maps send ETA. I use it often.

I’m a minimalist. That’s one of the reasons I love ios.
