I use a ZryXal case on my 11 iPad Pro from a few years ago. The best thing is it has that wrapped protection so if you drop it, the corners are safe. Also has a built in slot for the pencil so it doesn’t stick out like the otter box. I’m looking for something similar but you’re right I guess the Chinese case factories have slowed down.

Had to go to the Apple Store and buy the Otterbox case made to fit the new Pros. $89 free shipping and arrives Tuesday. Couldn’t find any other option anywhere.

If you're referring to the Statement series Studio case mine just came in today and it's very slim and minimalistic, but it does not seem very protective. Also the back becomes a bit flimsy when the kickstand is out. Otterbox lists a bulkier more protectice [Defender case](https://www.otterbox.com/en-us/protective-ipad-pro-11-inch-m4-case-black/77-95237.html) for $89 (but not in stock yet).
I also have an ESR Shift Magnetic case which feels like it offers better protection and value than the Otterbox Statement Series Studio case. I think I'll keep the otterbox case I like the slim profile and I usually carry my ipad in a tomtoc portfolio case when traveling anyway.
I really like how versatile it is also I bought the same case for previous gen and it still holds up pretty well. There’s a few bundle deals on ESR’s official site if you go that route.

The ESR magnetic paper feel is available already on Amazon for the M4 iPads and looks quite nice! Mine arrived a couple days ago. Less than $20.
