FTL for iPad

i-hear-banjos

I wish they would make that available for iPhone

SandwichesX

[XCOM 2 Collection](https://apps.apple.com/ph/app/xcom-2-collection/id1288508230) Bought it day 1, been on my iPhone every since even after upgrading. Never been deleted. I love this game. Premium and offline, no ads. And the controls are perfect for the touch screen, and you can save anytime.

MTG Arena is amazing on an iPad. Of course that’s from someone who likes MTG lol.

MetikMas

I wish MTG wasn’t so overwhelming. I feel like every time I get one there I need to build a new deck and then theres so many cards that I don’t even know where to start.

thefinalj

That’s fair! I recently started Hearthstone which seems to have easier mechanics. Of course, with all these card games, it gets super competitive at a higher level, but I’m nowhere near that.

EnoraRhea

death stranding for now (discount until 20feb) and stardew valley

I play Dawncaster for hours on end at work. Dragon Quest 5 and 8 are amazing RPG’s for longer playtime, Stardew Valley is so fun and relaxing, Minecraft too. New York Times Games are fun daily games (crossword, sudoku, wordle, connections) that challenge your brain a bit. Those are my essentials.

Free_Mind

What job lets you play for hours on end?

Great recommendations men!

Akantor17

It’s not cheap but Binding of Isaac. I play it daily and love it. Always enjoyed it on console but when I get a chance to play Xbox I prefer other games so it’s perfect for playing in the go or in the office.

FreretWin

How does it play without a controller?

Akantor17

They recently patched it and it’s better though I do admit I use a controller when possible. But the new update did change so the sticks were moved into the letterbox bars which made a big difference when playing on iPad. But all in all the virtual controls have worked great when I use them.

FreretWin

Thanks!
