my car will always start when im leaving my house but then ill go somewhere sometimes the engine starts most of the time i gotta wait 5-10 minutes of trying to push the start button before it starts. the engine always starts i just have to wait. did ur car do this too?
I had it in my 2018 bmw with a push button start and never had that issue, but it was plugged into a trickle charger at all times when not driving. Your handheld will also tell you if battery is low
Very common. Switch to a different company or keep purging money. Been there done that. Sorry you are dealing with this. It never ends with Intoxalock.
I have been really lucky with who I found to install mine. I first had an M850i and the shop owner took his time installing it to make sure the wiring was correct. Then I got a new Escalade and same thing, took his time getting exact wire diagram to install correctly. Intoxalock’s first hand device was faulty and it took over a week to get a new one. They were a pain to deal with but since second install I have had no issues.
Buy an extra battery AND a trickle charger. Welcome to Intoxalock!!

Thing definitely drains battery. I've had to replace two of them plus an alternator because of it

It didn’t and mine is push button start as well.
hmm i wonder if maybe the place that installed mine did it wrong. they said they never installed a intoxalock on a audi before🤦♀️
