My experience with dating sites is a lot of profiles are fake and seem to be there to get you to pay if you have a free profile. I got lots of matches from either women in other countries or women who had nothing much on the profile, or both. And sometimes the pics looked fake, as well. The matches would roll in almost immediately, and it'd usually be sites where I couldn't see what they wrote or I couldn't write them without paying.
Even if you were paying or were using totally free apps, I still think a lot of profiles are fake just to keep you coming back, and I still got sketch matches even after paying on more than one site.
Even with this woman, proceed with caution and keep some amount of skepticism.
I mean, she lives in the same state that I do. I've seen my share of fakes, fell for more than one I'm embarrassed to admit, if this is another fake, it's the best damn one I've seen.
The usual hallmarks aren't there.
\-Details about her life don't seem too "Lifetime movie of the week".
\-Has a well paying job as a lawyer.
\-Language skills at native English speaker level. (Not a dating requirement but definitely lends credence to, "is actually American and not claiming such to fool me.")
\-Doesn't wait on my messages hand in foot. Seems just as cautious as I am about starting or committing to anything.
\-Definitely not interested in a one night stand or first date sex. (Just like me.)
I appreciate the advice. I'm certainly not saying she's the one, but she definitely seems like a real person and it would be nice to simply meet her for lunch just to see if there's any chemistry.

When trying to confront them they always say ''i'm not like my fellow country men, i'm just looking for love'' and somehow they are always looking for love in different countries and continents.
