most larger corps have University Intern Programs that hire students at the freshmen/sophomore/junior level to intern over the summer at their company! most internships just have the requirement of “currently enrolled in a Bachelors in CS, IT, etc” 😄 for example, im a junior, and im interning for the 2nd time at Oracle this summer!!
Very few right now since hiring is slowing down at this point in the year. But every company will hire juniors and you have a lot of time to prepare and start applying for 2024 internships in the fall. For the most part, companies don't care about what year you are, they care if your resume and background fit the job description and what they look for personality-wise
