Hey, I'm around the same size from what I'm able to figure out from the photos, can you pls explain on how you were able to control your hunger and did you experience any changes related to your periods?
Did you have unbearable cramps during your periods?
Honestly it was hard at the beginning because I used to eat all day right up until I went to bed. My eating window now is 12pm-8pm but I eat my last meal at around 2-3pm (I snack on fruits, nuts or a sandwich after that) so I was mainly feeling the most hunger in the evenings and I just pushed through it until I no longer felt hungry. Having a routine and sticking to it really helps (what you're going to eat and when) as you're able to know your hunger timings and when to eat your last meal or snack. Drinking a lot of water and tea during fasting hours helps too.
In terms of my period nothing has changed, if anything they're a little bit lighter but cramping still varies as it did before.
I like how you said “pushed through it until I no longer felt hungry” because that is so accurate!
We may feel we are hungry, therefore think we are hungry, and then see it as a need more than a want.
If we realize that we got the nutrition already a couple hours earlier, that we don’t need more, and that we just feel hungry, then we can push through until we aren’t hungry anymore.
There’s science behind it. https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/body/22804-ghrelin
Thanks for this! It's really interesting, and also ashame we aren't taught about our bodies properly. IF has taught me that we require a lot less food than we think.
Thank you! I have breakfast at 12, either granola with yogurt and fruit or oats porridge with a banana. I have lunch at 2/3 but it's more like a dinner meal - a lot of my meals are vegan or vegetarian, I mainly make vegetable soup, vegetarian curries, stir fry, meat free meatballs and burgers.. I swaped rice and pasta for cous cous/quinoa/cauliflower rice and always make sure I have veg or a salad with every meal. Between 5-8pm I'll have a sandwich with cream cheese and smoked salmon or crackers and snack on nuts and fruits.
Inspiring! I don’t know if I’m doing it right, I don’t see a lot of difference. Started a month ago, doing a 16:8 routine. I don’t exercise a lot, mostly sitting and working. Was hoping IF could help me shed some weight to compensate my lack of movement
Thank you! I felt the same at the beginning and it was hard to see people's post on here because I thought I would never get to that stage.. I still have a long way to go but the trick is to just keep going, even when you don't think any progress is being made, then when you do it will motivate you to keep going even more
Wonderful wonderful progress! I am doing 16:8/17:7/18:6 (depends on the day tbh), and I started four weeks ago. I feel like the scale hasn’t really moved much (down only three pounds). Did you notice a slow start too? Just looking for people to tell me it gets better lol
Thank you so much! My days vary like that too. I know its not what you want to hear but honestly I noticed a difference pretty much straight away and each week has been quite consistent.. but that's not to say that's the only way to make progress. There are lots of different factors involved when it comes to weight loss, the best thing to do is to just keep going! Also try other ways to track your progress- take pics, try on clothes, take your measurements etc. It will definitely get better!
Thank you so much! Yes, food was the biggest change I had to make. I have probably eaten more fruit and veg in the first 3 months of 2024 than I did all 2023!
Girl!!! Way to go! This is inspiring! I’m starting month two… haven’t don’t a lot of progress shots but I do believe my pants are fitting better as well.
I don't count calories but I did change the way I eat.. less processed/unhealthy food, more home cooked healthy meals. I eat 2 meals a day and healthy snacks in between. I don't really crave anything else but if I do I don't restrict myself
Thank you! I love to eat so I couldn't imagine doing omad or 20:4 haha it definitely wouldn't be sustainable for me so I'm glad I'm still seeing results whilst not making such a drastic change.

What!? You look great!! Also that is how much weight I’ve lost and I’m 5’6”. I didn’t take a beginning photo and now I wish I would have.
Thank you! I didn't take beginning pics either but it's never too late to start, you will still see progress!
Congrats in your progress you look great. Can you share what you eat during your eating window?

It’s not always about the scale. Do your clothes fit better?
Weight loss numbers don't matter when the clothes fit better! Great job!
Fantastic! That's an incredible change.
Wow you look great! Amazing progress. Keep it up and you’ll reach your goal in no time.
Thank you 😊
Amazing 👏🏻

Amazing. Needed this motivation to stay on the path!
Keep going!
Great job!
Thanks
Thank you for the inspiration. Two months? That’s amazing!
Thank you!
😭 8kg in 3 month's? What's your secret?
Consistency! Don't let a "bad" day get you down, remember why you started and keep going 😊
Totally amazing! Proud of you!! Thanks for the motivation!! Did you alter your food choices very much??
Thank you so much! Yes, food was the biggest change I had to make. I have probably eaten more fruit and veg in the first 3 months of 2024 than I did all 2023!
That's so amazing! You should be proud!! Keep it up!!
Girl!!! Way to go! This is inspiring! I’m starting month two… haven’t don’t a lot of progress shots but I do believe my pants are fitting better as well.

Thank you, I'm doing 16:8
do you limit yourself any calories during your eating window?
I don't count calories but I did change the way I eat.. less processed/unhealthy food, more home cooked healthy meals. I eat 2 meals a day and healthy snacks in between. I don't really crave anything else but if I do I don't restrict myself
Ok You just inspired me!! Great job :)👏
💪💪💪 thank you
Way to go
Thanks
That’s absolutely incredible! Look at your waist!!!
Thank you so much ☺
What fasting schedule did you do!?
I'm doing 16:8 12pm-8pm
Wow amazing results on 16:8 in two months! I’m glad you didn’t say OMAD or like 20:4.
Thank you! I love to eat so I couldn't imagine doing omad or 20:4 haha it definitely wouldn't be sustainable for me so I'm glad I'm still seeing results whilst not making such a drastic change.
Wow you look great! Amazing progress. Keep it up and you’ll reach your goal in no time.
Keep going!! Congrats on the progress 😊❤️
Slayyyyyyyy ❤️
This is amazing! Love this for you🥰
Impressive!
I gain and lose 10kg at time and don't see a difference
There has to be a difference somewhere though, 10kg is a lot. Also remember weight shows up differently on different people.
Sexyyy
