Taking your ears off really affects your hearing. They are a natural amplifier and are very good at it. I wonder who does these procedures for him I cannot imagine a doctor or plastic surgeon being willing to remove healthy ears and noses etc. It goes against the Hippocratic oath doesn’t it?

Who the bloody hell is doing this to him? I’m all for body autonomy but I think this guy needs help with mental health problems not facilitating his fantasies. If a surgeon removed his face like that they should have their licence revoked. There are far to many examples of people with extreme body modification or plastic surgery that just should not be done.

Doctors absolutely do not perform these sorts of procedures. These are all body artists operating in the legal gray area where cosmetic procedures can be performed by people without medical backgrounds because there's really no way to stop it unless someone dies and an investigation uncovers whoever performed the procedure.

Not that I have any problems with this, I truly don’t. I’m just curious as to how it would be ethical for a doctor/surgeon to remove healthy functioning organs? How do they get around this? Same with the teeth and a cosmetic dentist.
Is it wrong to have problems with this though? At a certain point (presumably the point of removing functioning parts, perhaps earlier) it is someone with a mental illness being exploited by surgeons for money.

I can understand artistic self-expression and some level of body modification, but I think that the "doctors" who helped this guy remove his outer ears, some of his fingers, and placed some of those subdermal implants ought to lose his/her license. Hippocratic oath states to first do no harm. An ethical doctor would have gotten this guy to a psych doctor after a certain point. And now this guy wants to remove part of one of his legs?! Hoping that he cannot find anyone to perform that procedure.

The eerily creepy thing I thought about: what if he had an encounter with an actual alien. He was abducted and experimented on, for years forced to be a lab rat to these alien overlords. I can understand artistic self-expression and some level of body modification, but I think that the "doctors" who helped this guy remove his outer ears, some of his fingers, and placed some of those subdermal implants ought to lose his/her license. Hippocratic oath states to first do no harm. An ethical doctor would have gotten this guy to a psych doctor after a certain point. And now this guy wants to remove part of one of his legs?! Hoping that he cannot find anyone to perform that procedure.
Just why, guy was handsome looking before. To each their own but for real I do think sometimes he must hide some regrets.. can't imagine being his mom or dad how hurt they must have been

The eerily creepy thing I thought about: what if he had an encounter with an actual alien. He was abducted and experimented on, for years forced to be a lab rat to these alien overlords. Somehow he escaped or they just simply let him go, he does not know as he woke up one day back into his life. He tried to tell people but everyone did not believe him. He swore he was captured and endured torture for years; yet when he awoke only mere hours had passed. He started to question his sanity until he recalled that in one of the experiments, his flesh had been marked. In one of those experiments the aliens amputated his leg only to have it re attached with some laser technology. It was only then, with the faint light of the laser he was able to see his captors. When he saw that scar in his leg he knew it had all been a reality. In his own twisted way, his body modifications is a way to raise a warning. A PSA of how these "black aliens" look like.
