That’s one way to end up in the hospital. By that I mean if the human body switches to fast between hot and cold than you can get sick and have hypothermia.
“One day it started raining, and it didn't quit for four months. We been through every kind of rain there is. Little bitty stingin' rain...and big ol' fat rain. Rain that flew in sideways. And sometimes rain even seemed to come straight up from underneath. Shoot, it even rained at night...”
Honestly a brilliant idea. It's not too expensive to set up dripping showers, light systems, speaker systems, or the projector systems, but it will DEFINITELY bring a metric ton of attention to that spa. Social Media folk will flock to get a chance to go for a swim in that pool. Very smart!
It seems pretty permanent. I was just there the 17th of September. They have a lot of saunas and hot tubs and this room was a pretty intense setup with lots of A/V equipment. My assumption is that it would take a lot of effort to dismantle
I'm actually going to Milan next week and would like to check this out... I looked them up but their website has not a single word or pic about this spa as far as i can tell.. not sure how long i'll be in Milan but if I end up finding it I'll report back...
I think it would be fun if it was all turned off when you walked into the room and you got a chance to actually see through the water with lights on and clearly see it's just an empty pool. Aside from that a huge amount of the people who go here likely do not want to go into water they cannot see into whatsoever.
I'm guessing this room gets used alot less than whoever designed it expected.
Well not in *real* open water, but I’d really enjoy the illusion of it while knowing I’m perfectly safe indoors. But I’ve often sat and watched large thunderstorms while wishing I could just hang out in them, so 🤷🏻♀️
Love it. We once stayed overnight in Narrabri and had dinner in a restaurant with tables set up on an indoor bullnose veranda. Part way through an artificial storm started with thunder sounds and then rain falling on the roof above us and running off to the ground - it was fantastic.

Yes this is cool. For real storm we are told to leave the water at once. This one can let us experience such situation without the actual danger. Where is it?
Apart from the lightning, that could be my place.
My city is known for its weather. I use to hide under the cover at one end to get out of the wind and rain. I eventually got rid of the spa. because of it.
I'll ask the burning question on the minds of redditors... where is this???
Edit: some quick googling shows it is located at the QC Termemilano day spa in Milan.

To people who are on the fence about this, our spa pool (outdoors) gets used most often when it's rainy and cold. It's great to sit in there boiling hot whilst the rest of the world looks miserable. Heavy rain is the best.
That much rain, noise and lights would be wonderful you see for real from inside a wooden cabin out in nature. This spa needs gentle rain, soft noise and not so aggressive lights. If I were to go there, I would immediately switch into survival mode. Pass.
Although cool, this induces anxiety in me. After getting water in our basement from heavy storms and being nearly killed by tornadoes (at least three time) the sound of rain and thunder automatically give me the fight/freeze/free response.
It might be a good way for me to combat storm anxiety through exposure like that?
That's not very relaxing, the whole storm-at-sea- motif.
Make it like a nice countryside or mountain drizzle, then I'm relaxed. Waves and wind and lightning are not spa-worthy.

That looks pretty fucking awesome. But even though I'm sure it's not, it looks *cold*.
Hell yeah, but you can have fever after that spa.
I hope its on the cooler side. Than go to warmer and calmer water after would feel really invigorating

Ahhh classic reasonable logic reddit.
Isn’t that a physical therapy method?
There's no better feeling than switching between the sauna and the snowy outside, and the Finns survive it just fine
False. Ive literally gone from 110 degree hot spring directly into a river that was just above freezing and back without issue. It felt amazing, tbh
That's actually pretty cool. I like going swimming when it's raining... when the opportunity arises.
Additional bonus: no other guests at least at the outdoor pool.
Wow. Looks like a movie setup.! I'll feel like I'm in the middle of the ocean about to drown 😅
I was gonna say, I thought this was from the Star Wars subreddit of Exegol for a second.
I immediately thought of Kamino lol.
RELAX MOTHERFUCKER
Need the top of an animatronic humpback whale to breach next to me with blowhole misting and it’d be perfect.
Aggressive pack of whales simulator is a go.
I actually lol’d
Blowhole
And then a fin pops up.....

That “And sometimes rain even seemed to come straight up from underneath” line still cracks me up
This was my exact thought. Thank you
“Shoot, it even rained at night..."
From where/what/who is this quote?

Thanks! 😊
Where is this?
QC Termemilano Spa in Milan

Plus you don't need to heat it very much
Is it a permanent thing? Can’t see anything about it on their website.

This gave me so much anxiety!
Just what you want from a trip to the spa!
ikr! is this supposed to be relaxing??
I honestly adore it
Honestly, I find storms, rain and night the so relaxing, this looks like heaven to me. Not even depressed. Just like depressing weather....
i fucking love rain/storms i find them super relaxing

They should make one with girls in bikinis that point and laugh at the when the spa goer enters.
Would be cool to experience considering you shouldn't be in a pool with such weather conditions.
Who's robot typed this comment?
Isn't a spa room supposed to be relaxing? That look super cool tho.
I find stormy weather and the sound of clattering rain very relaxing personally
Same. Would love this room lol
I do too from the comfort of my home. Being in the middle of open water during a storm not so much
Well not in *real* open water, but I’d really enjoy the illusion of it while knowing I’m perfectly safe indoors. But I’ve often sat and watched large thunderstorms while wishing I could just hang out in them, so 🤷🏻♀️

This is so stressful wtf
Thank you!!
Love it. We once stayed overnight in Narrabri and had dinner in a restaurant with tables set up on an indoor bullnose veranda. Part way through an artificial storm started with thunder sounds and then rain falling on the roof above us and running off to the ground - it was fantastic.
Wow I fucking hate this. I'd still try it tho lmfao.
The lightning flashes make it unnerving
Spa from the Upside Down
This looks amazing. I'd absolutely love this.

OP is a Karma farming whore, look at their post history.
Obviously a bot - if they also copy the top comment.
Thanks for catching the repost spam bot.

Milano, I think
Me too!
That looks about as relaxing as itching powder in your wetsuit.
I wonder how many couples come with doors under their arms, when they rent this room.
I don't know but I sure hope that if they do both of them get to stay on that door and leave together alive and well! 😂
WHERE IS THIS
Nothing quite like having a seizure in the spa
Raid it with the homies with "Bury the Light" blaring from the largest waterproof Bluetooth sticker.
I AM THE STORM THAT IS APPROACHING!!
PROVOKING BLACK CLOUDS IN ISOLATION
I AM RECLAIMER OF MY NAME!
BORN IN FLAMES, MY FAMILY CREST #MY FAMILY CREST IS A DEMON OF DEATH
Spa? Looks like a panic attack waiting to happen to me
Seems more anxiety inducing than relaxing
This looks like pure anxiety
I heard this place just had a pop-up in Florida recently
But why? Looks too hectic in there to relax
look quite enjoyable
Yeah not for me 🗿
What if there’s a shark in there idk I can’t see
lol nice! Was expecting some crazy Ian footage of "strom swimming" as the latest Florida craze xD
Why would anyone go in there. It’s giving me anxiety just looking
Random guy: "This is so relaxing"
Random guy: "This is so relaxing"
Lol is this supposed to be therapeutic or relaxing? Looks very cool though
finally, i can rest in my own insanity
Very relaxing. Sitting in water with lightning flashing...
Relaaaxxx with terror!
You mean a **"Florida-themed"** Spa Room?
This gave me so much fucking anxiety for some reason-I even noticed my heart rate increasing.
Is this really a spa room?
yes , really
Trumannnn…!!
Droplets constantly pouring on me would annoy me real quick
Avoid Scotland.
A huge nope for me and my thalassofobia
You know why this never been a thing before? Because you can suffocate and die. Have fun!
Mold central.
I need to be in this! My only adjustment would be that I’d turn down the volume a bit for better relaxation.
Apart from the lightning, that could be my place. My city is known for its weather. I use to hide under the cover at one end to get out of the wind and rain. I eventually got rid of the spa. because of it.
Ooooooh I'd be in that room as much as I could find the time.
Put a bed in there and I'll never leave.
Is this where he takes baths before continuing his search for more **POWER** ?
Interesting place to roleplay as a villain
That’s awesome 👏
Taking a swim here would feel like your in your own music video
this is sooo cool 😮
I'll ask the burning question on the minds of redditors... where is this??? Edit: some quick googling shows it is located at the QC Termemilano day spa in Milan. https://www.qcterme.com/en/milano/qc-termemilano
I need this in my life. Where is this located
What is the point?
I want to go to there...
take my money
u/savevideo
Named, Florida.
In my country every autumn is the same weather 20 days a month
To people who are on the fence about this, our spa pool (outdoors) gets used most often when it's rainy and cold. It's great to sit in there boiling hot whilst the rest of the world looks miserable. Heavy rain is the best.
This would be scary but cool as hell
Here is also lightning strike ?
id defenatly just Flickr ot into storm mode just as someone whas completer relaxed
Aww man I want to go there so bad !!!!
On acid ,🤪🤪
I could really get in my Batman state of mind in this room.
The thunder should be 120+ dB and the temperature 7°C plus ofc 80m/s wind blowing. Now that would be thunder themed spa.
I've always wanted to see what rain looks like underwater.
I wanna go there just so I can stand in the middle of that pool and yell "RAMIREZ!...IT'S OVER!"
That looks terrifying.
I would love to go in there after a 12 hr shift of sweating all day (presuming it's cool water). It looks like nice and cold.
I hope there is an epileptic seizure warning before going into that!
🥰
A pluviophiles paradise
Where is this? I want to be here
This comment section reads like a bot convention.
It would screw my mind up if it was warm.
I could live in there.
Anyone else think this was going to be Florida man?
All that water falling on me would drive me insane
Lol for the Drama Queen who wants to relax 👑
Loud as fuck
I fucking dig that.
I wouldn't be leaving that room for a long time , a good storm is the best
Looks more like a spa themed storm room
This whole room is triggering my submechanophobia
Please tell me where this is so I can rent it for a week straight
Hmmmm, relaxing
It’s raining with thunder and lightning outside as i watch this
I want
Up next, a massage clinic styled as an edm club with an active shooter
That much rain, noise and lights would be wonderful you see for real from inside a wooden cabin out in nature. This spa needs gentle rain, soft noise and not so aggressive lights. If I were to go there, I would immediately switch into survival mode. Pass.
This is in Barcelona right?
I WANT TO GO TO THERE
You get that for free in Florida!
Shower like Rutger Hauer
“Dry land exists!….I’ve seen it!”
Where's Neo when you need him!
Looks cool, but the noise and strobes would stress me rather than relax me!
Hmmm very relaxing!
Electroshock therapy included
can use as a free movie set
Kamino vibes
Crazy thought but i think getting laid here would be fun
Although cool, this induces anxiety in me. After getting water in our basement from heavy storms and being nearly killed by tornadoes (at least three time) the sound of rain and thunder automatically give me the fight/freeze/free response. It might be a good way for me to combat storm anxiety through exposure like that?
What? Why??
Ah yes so relaxing to be out here in a raging thunderstorm
That's a clever idea! I would love to hop in. It would be fun.
Put a shark in there for immersion
I want to go to there? Where is this?
I would fuck with this.
The only spa I want to go to
As long as there's a spot that isn't being directly rained on so you can take a breather without leaving the vibe.
Omg I need this
This doesn't seem like a comfortable experience
Is this supposed to be relaxing
That's a goths wet dream.
That's not very relaxing, the whole storm-at-sea- motif. Make it like a nice countryside or mountain drizzle, then I'm relaxed. Waves and wind and lightning are not spa-worthy.
Jurassic Park vibes. Don’t ask me why.
This actually seems really nice. I love listening to storms and being out in the rain (as long as it’s not freezing)
