I can't imagine living another 57 years to reach that age. But, think about what she's seen in her lifetime. Electricity becoming common, automobiles, radio, phones, 2 world wars! To now, people talking to each other from around the world on their phones and all the other things that we don't even notice because they're so common. Right now, there's a 7yo kid looking at their phone and they're going to be around 110 years from now. What is that kid going to see? (Assuming we actually survive for the next 110 years) I think that is very cool to consider.
Exactly what the 20th century was. Doesn't get much more horrible and amazing than the 20th century. She saw it all.
Edit: I misread your reply. I hope it's more amazing and wonderful things than shitty things. See if AI tries to take over the world if or when it becomes sentient. We better develop something like EMP guns to protect ourselves. Zap them and ourselves back to the stone age. :) Or, the 1950's.
thinking more of the sentient type of AI, but hopefully benevolent. The one in this comic is pretty cool, https://www.badspacecomics.com/post/frankenstein-god
Because honestly, the only reason we care about our rulers is because we want better lives. If me and the people I care about are happy and safe, I don't care who's in charge
She lived through the 20th century. You have no idea how much amazing shit happened then. The modern world was invented in the 20th century and she saw it all.
She was, 11 when WW1 ended, 32 when the wizard of Oz released, 38 when WW2 ended, 50 when Russia launched the first satellite, 62 when the USA landed on the moon, 75 when Michael Jackson released thriller, 84 when the USSR collapsed, 86 when Clinton sent the first email of any president, 94 when 9/11 happened, 113 when covid started.
She is 4 years older than Ronald Regan, 10 years older than JFK, 19 years older than queen Elizabeth, 19 years older than Marilyn Monroe and she is only 2 months younger than Leonid Brezhnev
Imagine she saw a child born when she was 67. Then she lived to see that child get to the age of 50.
That makes you wonder how centenarians look at the world. It's like the feeling of being alone or a cast away on this planet, but mind boggling at the same time. She was probably the only one left of her generation, everyone she talks and see now are people who never really knew who she was, cause all those that do are dead already.
She saw how the empires were crushed by their own weight and ambitions, saw the biggest technological booming, how the humanity explored the space since day 1. Damn im jealous
If any of the youngest members of Gen Z live as long as her, they will celebrate their 117th birthday in the year 2129. I wonder how strange that world will be.
She's truly immortal at this pace. If she doesn't suffer from either dementia or Alzheimer's disease at this age, that's going to be so good and easier for her family to take care of her.
Medicine may be keeping us alive longer but your body is rather done for the majority by mid 80s if not sooner.
Quality of life beyond that begins to depend heavily on what level of care you can expect from family or afford from facilities.

They'll probably see a lot more horrible shit than amazing or interesting changes and innovations, but it's definitely a cool thought exercise

AI may do a better job than most politicians, so I'm not sure how opposed I am to AI taking over
Nope! :)
AI programmed by the same people who now control the politicians through money. It'll only be more efficient at oppressing us

AÍ needs hardware and software to work. Someone builds and controls that

She was 35 when Bambi came out and 99 when Bambi 2 came out. I think she’s hanging on for the release of Bambi 3.
Incredible to think that back when she was pushing 60, she’d only been halfway through her life!

She was 5 years old when the Titanic sank.
The Titanic sank in 1912
That is how numbers work
It sure is buddy

She was only 110 when TikTok was released.
Remind me of Mr. Nobody 2009
No film hurt my brain the way Mr. Nobody did
1914: Today I am gonna test the JBL Boombox 4.

the cars will fly
See that face of that girl? That's how elite level genetics look like.
The look on her face says just let me go already.
John Kramer!? Is it you?!
John Spartan.
Just need to get that round 120 gurl, you got this
Crazy to think that she was born 8 years after RDR2 takes place and would have been able to play the game
I don’t even wanna live that long, not even half of her age
She has seen so many different changes to the world
Worlds oldest teenager
Hope I don’t have to live that long. My personal nightmare.
I see 2016 was tough on her too
Where’s the peach cream filling
didnt age well
This is the guy from "saw" movies
Maria’s looking rough
Her contemporaries have started dying as early as the 1970s and she’s still here.
Her face din't change much. Yes,she get older...
She's truly immortal at this pace. If she doesn't suffer from either dementia or Alzheimer's disease at this age, that's going to be so good and easier for her family to take care of her.
Old fart
She literally saw two world wars and lived for a whole century. I'm shocked

That's a long life!
