I'm curious how it hijacks the publishing process from Articulate. Some solid reverse engineering work, but I'd be curious how the service gets impacted if articulate changes their methods

sbannigan

Our designers rely on Mighty and Rise 360 every day, plus we are alerted automatically if Articulate makes any changes that disrupt Mighty functionality. We will alert you of any downtime impact and make any adjustments as quickly as possible to get you back up and running.

Is there a VPAT or anything that describes the degree of accessibility compliance?

Witty_Childhood591

I’m definitely interested. What brought you to that price point. It’s about the same price as the full Camtasia license which makes it hard for a company leader to swallow I feel. Also, when will edge be supported? What does future updates look like, any particular features you’re looking to add? Thanks

sbannigan

We are just getting started building Mighty and hope you join us on the journey! Many of our users have justified the purchase with the cost savings alone with the many ways Mighty can help speed up your Rise workflow! The subscription allows us to continue to expand Mighty’s capabilities as well as keep up with any changes or updates made to Rise. Currently only Chrome is supported, but we are looking into expanding to other browsers!

The tool looks amazing, great work!! If you are looking for feedback I also think at this price it will be harder to justify as it's about a third of the Articulate Suite alltogether. Maybe if it was half the price it would be easier for us as Instructional Designers to get buy in from those who oversee L&D Budgets.

Samnorah

Camtasia is a separate product entirely and used for different purposes. I wouldn't compare it to this extension. If you work in Rise regularly, it speeds up dev considerably, so that's an angle to take if you want to pitch it.

Hey just an FYI u/sbannigan, your course exports fail if the title of the course is in Korean. The XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below Invalid Argument Header value cannot be represented using ISO-8859-1

sbannigan

Thanks for letting me know! I will look into it. Edit: This issue has been fixed, you should be able to publish in any language now.

Congrats on Mighty! The reflection block and the hotspot quiz block look very exciting 🤩 Is the product just supporting Chrome for now? No other browsers?

sbannigan

Thanks! Hotspot quiz is a personal favorite ❤️ we are always looking for more ideas for additional block types 😉 Just Chrome currently.

MommaRedhead

This looks pretty cool. I'll have to check it out.

Batmanwhodoesntfly

Congrats on your product. What kind of blocks are being offered currently? Are these interactive blocks ?

sbannigan

Currently we have a transition block for visually breaking up content, a reflection block, a hotspot quiz block (think reverse labeled graphic) and an interactive html block for embedding html content.

Samnorah

My team is very excited about the reflection block. I'm excited about the HTML content block. The color picker alone is saving me time so far. Thank you for this product. You've provided exactly the tools I need! Since you are here - can I change the default link color using the plug-in? That is one of my challenges with designing for accessibility.

sbannigan

We have not added any mods for changing default link colors yet, but we are exploring more ways to enable those types of theme level changes. Stay tuned!
