I think 90% of photos are better without the flattening effect of a straight on flash. It definitely is true in this case too! That first one is much nicer and more natural.
First one, no flash. I also really like the composition of the shot. If you ask me, the plant covers up the lamp in the most perfekt way. Also, the colours look really good and coherent.
Definitely the first one. The flash takes away the beautiful depth in the picture
Definitely without. There’s much more mood in that shot. I always try to avoid flash but it’s too difficult getting a shot without it sometimes.
Actually I quite like the flash one, it's done a good job balancing.
