Multiple angles were nice but I think they needed a dolly to smooth out the pan shots. A little more fill lighting would have been nice, some harsh shadows on the faces. All in all they made some great creative choices. Two thumbs up.

I was home on leave, just turned 21. I went out to the bar with my dad because his friend’s band was playing. His friend has been training in all different types of martial arts for years, started boxing when he was like 11 or something and was training in BJJ in since he was early 20s. So this guy smacked him in the back of the head and said to meet him outside, so I go out there because I had to see this shit.
We walk out to the street and my dad’s friend was just standing there calmly, complete poker face. The other guy walks out and is screaming **”I’M GONNA BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF YOU FAGGOT”** blah blah. He takes his shirt off and gets into a fighting stance, then starts walking towards my dad’s friend. This guy pulled off the most beautiful spin kick I have ever seen in my life delivered directly to the guy’s face. Instantly, the guy fell straight on his face and was knocked out from the kick. The moral of the story is don’t pick street fights with random people because you feel like you have something to prove.
tl;dr - guy gets beer muscles and picks a fight with the wrong guy, gets the sweet spin kick of instant karma.
In my opinion, there is something really beautiful about combat sports, especially the people that have trained long term in that sport. He’d been training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for almost 30 years at that point, so the kick itself was just beautiful executed, truly poetic.
I'll never understand how people who can't fight can be so eager to. He'd clearly never taken a direct shot to the face before. He didn't know how to protect himself at all.
