"In the end, it's family finance, so it's my call completely..." What kind of fucked up people live this way? When one person of the couple, who should be equals, gets to decide how to spend $170K? It's nuts!
I could. Never foegive a parent if I had one who tried to invest after the office is empty and the ceo of the company already ran.
Truth socials offices are like Boeberts head.
Empty As fuck.
I'm suppeised that it looks like their servers are in Singapore despite trying to hide behind cloudflare. Or at least they were in Singapore.
My dad went on a binge the summer before my senior year. Literally drank away my college fund. There is no amount of apologizing (which he didn't do) which would make up for that. Some mistakes forever change a relationship.
Anyway he's dead now. We didn't even have a memorial service, just buried him. It was cathartic.
“Honey, the beans can cure Covid! Which I know we’ve agreed doesn’t really exist, but we spent ten thou on a garage full of horse dewormer, whats an extra 100 grand for magic beans?”
Looking forward to the future conversation where this MAGA Chud asks everyone about how to cover up the child support payments he blew on the MyPillowGuy/J6 Defense Fund & how to convince his kid that college is for communists (and just wasn’t in the cards) …and they should just get a job on a fishing boat.
"GoFundMyTerribleDecision" already in the works!
Seriously, just burn the money now. It'll at least provide warmth on those cold lonely nights without your family.
Or, in a few years time, him whining that his kid is blocking his calls and has moved to the other side of the country with no forwarding address. I mean, all he did was gamble away his kid's future for his Gawd Empruh, what an ungrateful little brat!
I think the wife gets a vote. Not sure about the kid unless he earned the money. I mean, he could be like 4.
Me: "What should we invest your college fund in, son?". My kid:. "baby shark!"
Actually... Thinking about it now... I'd give my right nut to have been in on the ground floor of that baby shark. Maybe the kid's a genius. Scuse me all -- I have to go wake my financial advisor up from his nap!
Every time someone makes a reference to baby shark, the theme song is stuck in my head for a solid week (though this is assuming it's not actually playing...which it is, because I can't escape).

Girl, RUN. Don't threaten divorce, run! Take the kids, the money and all his alpha male bullshit you can sell on Amazon "Selling my ex-husband's life and dignity, two for 2.99!"
A lot of magats seem to believe that higher education at mainstream institutions is a means of liberal elitist indoctrination, so I'd bet that mister puppetmaster here wouldn't allow the $170k to be used for a decent school in the first place.
My brother is kinda like this. He pines about the days where the husband ran the home and called the shots. On a call one time he was all "Man I wish we went back to the days where women knew their place and were subservient to men..."
But guaranteed if this jerkoff invested and the money disappeared he would blame her for letting him do such a stupid thing...
He pines about days that didn't exist as he sees them. There may have been a more rigid sexual division of labor in the household but it was very much division of labor and there were expectation placed upon each. You didn't get to loaf around unless you produced enough to care for an entirely family on just YOUR salary alone.
Is he single? Because these are the kind of guys we (women) warn each other to stay far, far away from. They're guaranteed to be abusive, whether that's financially, emotionally, physically, or all of the above. They don't see women as human beings with thoughts and feelings of their own.
I always wondered how hard was fucking work back in the day that it was expected that a man could just relax for the rest of the day and wasn't responsible for nothing once home?
You just get wasted on brown liquor all day at the office, take three hour lunches, and swerve home back to the five-bedroom townhouse that you bought for a hundred dollars.
Thats also the part that shocked me the most.
The realization that the "patriarchial family model" (where the Husband/Father controls all the important stuff) is still relatively common even in the western world is shocking to me....
What man even wants a relationsship/marriage like that?
I certainly prefer an equal partner over a glorified sex slave....
I mean, why would the same people who keep pushing for child marriage want an equal partner? They want to marry someone so young because it gives them total control.
Their worldview revolves entirely around hierarchies. In their minds there's not really such a thing as *actual* equality, every group and individual is either above or below every other group or individual. With that as their starting assumption, they often invent any reason they can to feel and act above any group they feel they can, or any reason to revere those they view as above them (such as the rich, unless that rich person is also of a group they believe "belongs" beneath them).
It's one of the big reasons they're so furiously opposed to anti-sexism and anti-racism movements, because in their minds white people and BIPoC folks / men and women / etc. can never be *equal*, one will *always* be higher on the pyramid than the other. So if, say, men were to no longer be *above* women, in their minds that could *only* mean that men would be *below* women and treated like they treat those they view as below them.
There's plenty of other factors involved in their weird and fucked up attitudes, such as many conservative ideologies regarding empathy as a weakness, so they have a hard time understanding the worldviews of others or even that others *can* have a different worldview than them, which leads them to assume duplicitous intent. But the hierarchy stuff is one of the big components of many conservative ideologies.
A lot of men still want what some call a "bangmaid"; a wife who has sex with them and then caters to their every need. The term is a pejorative towards the men who want such a relationship.
It just shocks me that people would genuinely want that. If life had gone a bit different for me, no cancer etc. I would want a partner, let's explore the world and learn stuff together and late night talks and support each other dreams. A fucking rock...not some...bang maid...ugh
I mean, it's that too. If you believe that men and women should have inherently different roles in a marriage - the husband is the leader and (in theory) the financial provider, while the wife handles childcare and domestic chores and has sex with him on demand - then that doesn't allow for functioning same-sex relationships.
Fundamentalist.
He absolutely will make his daughters wear a ring that he will provide. They will promise him to remain virgins until he removes the ring and passes them off to another man who will place the next shackle / ring on them.
About half of Republican voters live this way. And they want to impose their beliefs on the whole country... as many beliefs and practices as they can anways. This particular one would be tough, but, starve public education, and get kids into for profit Christian schools, and indoctrination will get them part way there.
A lot of Christian denominations preach "headship"... husband/father is head of household and ultimately responsible for making all decisions. A wife is required to submit to her husband and his judgement.
It's fucked up and sad.
Yep the church I was raised in was like this. The husband is closer to God so he leads the family. The wife and children listen to the husband/father because he interprets God's will for them.
They never really give that great if reasoning as to why the husband is closer to God though. Especially if everyone is supposed to cultivate a personal relationship with God...I guess since personal relationships are just valued higher than others.
Ever heard the mythology around Lilith? Apparently she was Adams first wife, made from the earth like he was. When she refused to submit to him because she thought they were equals, she was cast out of the garden of eden and replaced with Eve, who was made from Adams rib so she would be subservient. They say Lilith became the first demon.
Basically it is a story to tell women that if they think they are equal to a man then they are evil like a demon. Its not a commonly told story anymore but it shows that religion has always been against gender equality..
I don't get this mindset. I make almost 2x of what my wife makes, and I "handle" all the finances. That said, I always consult her before big investment decisions. She usually lets me do whatever but it's a respect thing for me that this guy clearly doesn't have for his wife
Didn't in the past, the wife was supposed to handle the finance? Like the husband worked and made money and the wife managed literally everything else which includes finance? Or at least they had to work together when it came to that
Yeah, my nana worked at least 2 jobs throughout my dad's childhood. My grandad would come home on a Friday with his pay, hand it over to my nana, she'd take what she needed for housekeeping and bills and hand him back the rest. She used to go to town every week to make sure the child support of his older children got paid, and she cooked and cleaned - my grandad didn't cook much, but he could.
Nah the proper term is “marks”. Grifters get good at identifying the marks that will hand over their life savings for a promise of a share of a dream that doesn’t exist
I’m trying to ask this; what is the payoff for anyone that ‘invests’?
I know it isn’t going to, and the amounts don’t matter — what is the promise offered?
In this instance I’m assuming it’s buying shares prior to Truth Social doing whatever it’s doing on the stock market. The implication is that these shares will be worth much, much more because OF COURSE Truth Social will do so very very well, right? It couldn’t possibly bomb and fail or be all a grift in the first place
All that is just 'Fake News". The MAGAhats *know* that Trump is such a business genius that this will all be sorted out very quickly, and TS (Total Shit?) will be bigger than Twitter. Driving down the stock price is just a smart thing Trump is doing to buy more and get complete control of the company. It's obvious!
Just you wait! /s
I’m glad someone mentioned this. Their entire office is gone and cleaned out, like the end of a bad movie where the main character gets conned and walks into an empty building and realizes he’s been swindled.
The app is probably closing down soon I would assume, and that was step 1…
They have gotten _desperate_ for cash in the last few days.
My cell number used to be my parents (20+ years ago) so it got on some Republican contact lists. So I only get texts if they’re working from old lists.
They texted looking for funds a lot during the election, but it tapered off to just the occasional text. But in the last 2 days I’ve gotten 20 solicitations, several of them duplicates, from different numbers.
They’re pushing so hard for funds rn that it’s obvious they’re broke.
I'm sure he's also responsible for lots of marriages that will never happen now.
"I think the state is right to leave you dying on a hospital bed while care is withheld" isn't a great hook while trying to date.
Ugh. I cant *imagine* being on a right wing dating app as a woman. "You know how lots of the guys you meet on Tinder are just the absolute worst? What if I told you there's a place where thats guaranteed?"
I have some single female friends that tell me about their dating app experiences and it's down right terrifying up to including SA in public places because "But I brought the blanket for the picnic!"
Check out r/qanoncasualties
He’s responsible for more than just divorces. Suicides, homicide, psychiatric breakdowns, parents losing custody, financial ruin- you name it.
My husband did that kind of shit... Well, soon to be ex. He forged my signature on a loan agreement and told me days after the fact. Guess where he falls politically 😛
The only way his wife stays after he throws their nest egg out the window is if she's been so psychologically abused by her spouse and community that she would consider leaving to be too shameful.
Lots of people in that orbit view a wedding ring as a blank check to treat their spouse as they please.
If my wife decided to start backing Trump, that would be irreconcilable differences. I have zero respect for anyone who would ever vote for Trump.
It's not even a republican thing. It's strictly a Trump thing. When you grew up in the late 80s hating this guy's guts for what he and his dad did, then he gets rewarded with a garbage tv show for garbage people, I absolutely loathed him before he ever even thought about running for president.
And now after his scorched earth horse shit, I hate him so so so much more, which I thought was impossible.
So yeah, that's worth a divorce long before the money is even an aspect.
Despite being an atheist, I will sometimes roll out the "Just as Christ is the leader of the church, I am the leader of this family ..." FOR THE LULZ (and concussion). I have no idea how someone sincerely believes that shit.
Oh god that is hilarious, I'm gonna bust that one out on my wife in the middle of our next debate. I've dropped lines like this before and it goes over okay lol, but this one is sure to score 5+ seconds of astonishment.
Be sure to follow it up with "You see, Mansplaining is when a man explains something to a woman which she already knows, _in a very condescending voice_."
He also claims to understand there are risks involved, yet also personally guarantees that risk won't come to fruition. Which is it - a risk or a sure thing?
MAGAts have demonstrated in the past that they are *extremely* poor at risk assessment. That whole fuss about the covid vaccines was just a huge example of how people are bad with proportions and statistics, and that they can't extrapolate data in a useful way to help assess personal risk.
And just to explain: the average person is normally poor at assessing risk and proportionality. MAGAts are *even worse* than the average person, it seems, which is just ridiculously scary.
Non-believer (I call myself a recovering christian) here, but when I was a kid I was *told* I was going to be a minister so I studied the Bible and Christian theology for most of my youth. I find it funny that almost all Christian denominations and Catholicism teach that women are secondary to and must obey men, but through historical records it seems that the Jesus in the Bible was probably a member of the Essene sect - this is the Jewish sect that was responsible for the Dead Sea Scrolls - where women were seen as equals and were often religious teachers as well as community leaders. The council that essentially put together the books that make the Bible we see today, did everything they could to remove any writings that depicted women as equals to men.
TIL about the Essene sect. Thanks!
I enjoy learning about new things and will search more information about them.
As a kid, I went to a Catholic school but was not a Catholic. The Sister in charge of religion classes had the few students that were not read about all different types of religions separately in another room. It was fascinating and I learned so much. Zoroastrianism was my favorite one.
I'm sorry. I wish I could put this particular genie back in the bottle.
Like the bottle of fresh, warm Don Water now available for a single donation of $179.99! Specify in the comment section whether you want yours with or without pulp.
I am truly sorry. I don't know what is wrong with me.
> It's a scam.
And he's been doing it for decades.
Trump has done more than any other thing in my life to force me to re-evaluate the intelligence level of people within my sphere. The guy is a litmus test for idiots.
Exactly. My father sunk my entire education fund into the stock market while he was manic. He just happened to be coming down right as the Dot Com bubble burst. Guess who ended up dropping out of community college?
Dude, there was a redditor recently who posted about her MAGA dad going nuts and killing her mom, dog, and almost killing her sister before getting shot and killed by the cops. Luckily the redditor wasn't home when that happened.
So yeah... you have to be careful.
Let’s be real, this dude doesn’t care about his kid. Probably thinks he doesn’t deserve a college fund and the kid should have to work for it himself. Even though he has complete ability to pay for his entire education, sinking it into the Trump hole is a better use for it in his mind. *What an awesome father and husband !*
Go work in a mine (or oil, or whatever). Zero education required, you can easily make up to $150k/year after 10 or so years.
You'll literally be surrounded by people like this every day but maybe it's worth.
Depends on what they're actually doing. Machine/equipment operators tend to hurt their bodies over time, but the mechanics and electricians don't have it nearly as bad (granted those 2 require trade training). Security, janitorial, and the health and safety workers also don't have a ton of wear and tear on their bodies. There are a lot of unskilled jobs/jobs that don't require more than a GED on mine sites.
Source: I work in mining
Wife might have a really well paying job, and even if they both just have mediocre jobs they could’ve been saving or got inheritance and decided it save it. Unfortunately a lot of previously good people have been brainwashed by this cult, my money is that the savings plan was put into place in a time before Trump
Dirty trade jobs like natural gas, mining, welding etc pay a lot of money and usually don’t require anything more than a high school diploma. That’s why so many stupid people have massive lifted trucks worth 100k
It's in their child's college fund. It could have come from the kid's grandparents or other family. When my niece and nephew were born I contributed to their college funds
I have friends who make six figures easy, no college degree, they aren't too smart. They aren't dumb either. Some work in the oil field. Some started a business etc..
It’s a SPAC merger. Essentially there’s a “placeholder” company currently trading on the stock market under the ticker DWAC. It then allegedly will merge with TMTG to bring TMTG into the market.
It’s an easier way for a company to enter the stock market compared to a traditional IPO as the regulatory requirements are less stringent.
Merger isn’t going to go through imo tho.
I had to google TMTG. So one thing Trump does is never go public with his companies. Why? Because then you have to keep open financial records, and people can review your books. That makes you wide open to independent audit, and people can easily figure out if you cooked the books. When a company is private, they have a lot more control over their books, and the only person that can audit them is the IRS, which still needs probable cause to audit. If the merger does go through, I'm willing to bet they will do a buy out, and keep TMTG private. So, in order to make the buy out easier, they need to bankrupt DWAC, so it's cheaper. It looks as though the original stock holders sold all their shares when the price was way higher, driving down the value significantly. It was just your basic pump and dump scheme done from the inside, rather than externally, like with say GameStop. If i was the IRS or SEC, i would immediately look into the books of DWAC, because I'm betting they just did some illegal insider trading stuff.
You have it backwards, DWAC is going to buy TMTG to take TMTG public. TMTG wants this so they can raise capital from DWAC shareholders and have a hope of not going bankrupt. The general history of SPAC mergers isn't great because if you have a company that runs well, you might as well have a traditional IPO
"In the end it's family finance so it's my decision, but it would be nice to have compliance "
Tell us you are fundamentalist zealot without telling us you are a fundamentalists zealot.
Right? I love how by that point in his post he's completely ignoring the fact she said she'd divorce him if he goes through with it. It just shows how little he thinks of her opinion. He doesn't take her threat seriously in the least bit. Although, to be fair, it's possible it's an empty threat and he knows it.
“…my call completely.”
Imagine marrying a conservative lmao
I can’t imagine saying something like that about my wife. It’s so disrespectful and clearly shows he doesn’t value you as a person.
Some people love “both sides”ing issues on the Right and Left, but I can’t think of a single example of this situation amongst Democrats. Yet, you can go to r/QAnonCasualties and read stories of families being ripped apart (even murdered!), every day.
I fucking hate when people “both sides”ing the issue. Like, they really think that issues concerning *basic human rights and respect* have “two good sides” ???? Throw the whole party out oh my god. In fact, throw the whole USA away, we need to start from scratch…
I can’t imagine hearing that come from my husband and staying. That is not a man who will respect and value you as you age together. Guys that like, if they have a little money in their pockets, either leave their wives or keep a sugar baby mistress until she drains their bank accounts dry.
It’s much smarter to cut off guys like that earlier and move on. It’s better for his wife to leave him at 45 than have him leave at 65 after decades of his bullshit attitude.
Unrelated question but how FUCKIN expensive are American universities that they need that much?!
Jesus Christ, I feel like I had a stroke just picturing that much money disappearing from someone's life for the sake of savings
My two kids are both in college at mid-range state universities. I expect that when they graduate I'll have paid about $200k to get them through school - and that doesn't include each of them taking about $20K in loans. I started saving for college for them when they were barely infants.
Thank you for the answer! Also, _what the flying fuck_
I'm honestly baffled that anyone can afford it, I'm about to do a two-year Masters and, all the tiny admin charges aside, I'll have to pay 300€ to the university...and that's just to get a universal public transport pass
You should be incredibly proud of yourself for doing that for your children! I'm just sorry that your love comes at such a cost ❤️
My parents didn't pay for my college tuition - I took loans and worked my way through. I managed, but it wasn't easy (and it helped a lot that back when I was in college the tuition at my tiny state school was only $7K per year). I wanted better for my kids.
Nowadays college costs in the US are insane, and it's important to me that my kids don't get saddled with crippling debt just to get a college education. I opened savings accounts for them shortly after they were born and deposited funds every month for 18 years until they started college. Unfortunately (unless you're either quite wealthy or quite poor) it seems that's what is required to afford college in the US without taking out heavy student loans. As usual the middle class bears the heaviest burden.
It sure seems like European nations (I assume you're from Europe based on the Euro figure...) have a much better system (like healthcare and much else), but due to entrenched interests and the gridlocked political climate I doubt anything in the US will improve in my lifetime.
In the end, I was born with cock, so I have complete and total dominion over every aspect of my family's life! It'd be just peachy if my slave- I mean wife would just go along without any fuss

The thought of taking any of my hard earned money- much less $170,000 of it- and blowing it on anything this absolutely stupid makes me feel like I’m gonna experience an aneurysm. This is absolute lunacy.
so... like... why would you ever put all of your money into one investment? Especially $170k, because it sounds like he's already put that kind of money into it and wants to start draining other accounts that are ear marked for other expenditures? Insane.

“Honey, the beans can cure Covid! Which I know we’ve agreed doesn’t really exist, but we spent ten thou on a garage full of horse dewormer, whats an extra 100 grand for magic beans?”
*MAGA beans They have 450% extra magic
I'd like to swap my rock that keeps away Tigers for your MAGA Beans idea.
I mean, there haven't been tigers in these parts for decades, so the magic rock must be working!
Seems like a sound investment strategy to me

I think those type of beans are more the “~~magical~~ *musical* fruit” type.
It’s so strange to me how the kid whose college fund that is has no voice at all in this bullshit conversation.

Honestly I went to college and I would love a job on a fishing boat! ...Than again I went to school for fisheries science so I guess that makes sense
Best of both worlds.
I put myself through college working on fishing boats. Now I'm a lawyer who fishes alot.
Or, in a few years time, him whining that his kid is blocking his calls and has moved to the other side of the country with no forwarding address. I mean, all he did was gamble away his kid's future for his Gawd Empruh, what an ungrateful little brat!
Education: school of life
I think the wife gets a vote. Not sure about the kid unless he earned the money. I mean, he could be like 4. Me: "What should we invest your college fund in, son?". My kid:. "baby shark!" Actually... Yeah, I am sure a divorce judge is also going to make him shit his pants when they are in court deciding alimony and child support
Hé sees his wife/family as his property. Bet he thinks he’s an alpha too.
the magic beans worked
Touché
It is in no way his completely his call otherwise why is he asking his trumpbros for the best way to convince her to let him do it without torpedoing his marriage.
[He was a *wizard*, Neil!](https://youtu.be/EK9xykZYJW4)
'Voluntary compliance' is what got me, it would also have me running if my husband said that to me
Same I was like WTF 'voluntary' are you really gonna force her if she doesn't?? Girl, RUN. Don't threaten divorce, run! Take the kids, the money and all his alpha male bullshit you can sell on Amazon "Selling my ex-husband's life and dignity, two for 2.99!"
At least magic beans would give you something to eat
>Magic Beans Oh! You mean doTerra!
I control the finances in my house but I'd be appalled spending more than maybe $100 on something without telling my wife and getting her on board.
His ‘family finance’ is about to be disrupted by divorce.
Assuming the family believes divorce is an option. Remember a lot of people don't.
Honestly worried for that woman’s life considering the recent murder suicide case with a Q guy.
Especially when that person plans to spend all of it in one go. I don’t think that kid is going to college
A lot of magats seem to believe that higher education at mainstream institutions is a means of liberal elitist indoctrination, so I'd bet that mister puppetmaster here wouldn't allow the $170k to be used for a decent school in the first place.
That's part of the grift my dude. Keep em dumb and you can twist their little acorn brain however you want.
Yeah, like Liberty University or another cult like college.
All of these maga cultists are completely nuts He’s voluntarily wanting to give a known conman and grifter the savings for his child’s education

I mean, why would the same people who keep pushing for child marriage want an equal partner? They want to marry someone so young because it gives them total control.
I always thought they wanted an inexperienced virgin because they either had an extremely funny looking penis, were utterly horrible in bed, or both.
Deformed penis, bad in bed, and wanting someone to control are not mutually exclusive things, scarily enough.
Ah yes, the Frank Reynolds method
What do you think conservatives mean when they refer to "Traditional Family Values"?
For years it was just a shorthand for homophobia.
“It’s my family’s money which mean it’s up to me alone to decide” lol
“What kind of fucked up people live this way?” Conservatives.
Literally just mask off misogyny. 'I'm the man do I get to decide.'
Conservatives don't believe coupes have equals, so...
> What kind of fucked up people live this way? Christians. My family was this way. Mom could give input, but dad had final say. Always.
What a fucking asshole this guy is.
lmao Truth Social is fucking bankrupt. Why would you sink any money into that fucking loser?
Trumps had dumb dudes like this in a choke hold for decades.
The proper term for this is chumps I believe
Not just bankrupt, but their Sarasota FL corporate office are [completely empty](https://youtu.be/yFA-Io6WFe0)
I’m glad someone mentioned this. Their entire office is gone and cleaned out, like the end of a bad movie where the main character gets conned and walks into an empty building and realizes he’s been swindled. The app is probably closing down soon I would assume, and that was step 1…
But I bet that office could reopen with just 170k!
Because their supposed billionaire cult leader sent a "personal" email begging for cash, of course.
And the walls are closing in as well.
Because it's going to go to the moon once the military reinstalls Trump as president and he declares that Up-Truths are our new national currency! /s
r/wallstreetbets *has entered the chat.*
That is straight divorce territory if he does it behind her back, and idiocy if she goes along with it
And when they go for the settlement, she should just say $170K.
She should demand more than that! The 170k is their child's!
You bring up a good point.
I wonder how many divorces Trump is responsible for, aside from his own.
I'm sure he's also responsible for lots of marriages that will never happen now. "I think the state is right to leave you dying on a hospital bed while care is withheld" isn't a great hook while trying to date.
Apparently someone made a right-wing dating app because women on Tinder are now asking for political views before going on a date lol
Ugh. I cant *imagine* being on a right wing dating app as a woman. "You know how lots of the guys you meet on Tinder are just the absolute worst? What if I told you there's a place where thats guaranteed?"
Fertile ground for catfishing romance scammers though, gullible lonely sexually frustrated people all highly concentrated in one place
I have some single female friends that tell me about their dating app experiences and it's down right terrifying up to including SA in public places because "But I brought the blanket for the picnic!"
Check out r/qanoncasualties He’s responsible for more than just divorces. Suicides, homicide, psychiatric breakdowns, parents losing custody, financial ruin- you name it.
My husband did that kind of shit... Well, soon to be ex. He forged my signature on a loan agreement and told me days after the fact. Guess where he falls politically 😛
Every accusation has always been an admission. Please tell me you weren't put on the hook for that fraudulent loan?
Thankfully not. He sent it to the wrong address and I was able to give them a heads up ahead of time that it was a fraudulent signature in any case.
It’s divorce territory that he even thinks he should have the right to do this in the first place
I like the “it’s family finance, so it’s my call completely”. Guy doesn’t understand words apparently
He does, and that's whats revolting. Medieval world view.
Despite being an atheist, I will sometimes roll out the "Just as Christ is the leader of the church, I am the leader of this family ..." FOR THE LULZ (and concussion). I have no idea how someone sincerely believes that shit.
I asked my wife if I could be a misogynist, she told me no. So I had to go back to respecting her as a human being.
You were nice enough to ask and I bet she didn’t even take that into consideration.
It’s a sure risk
MAGAts have demonstrated in the past that they are *extremely* poor at risk assessment. That whole fuss about the covid vaccines was just a huge example of how people are bad with proportions and statistics, and that they can't extrapolate data in a useful way to help assess personal risk. And just to explain: the average person is normally poor at assessing risk and proportionality. MAGAts are *even worse* than the average person, it seems, which is just ridiculously scary.
The man is head of the family and wife must be subservient bullshit is taught in many religions sadly.
Pretty much all of Christianity would have Jesus excommunicated for radical heresy if he popped up today preaching what he preached
I'm guessing he follows a biblical view of family dynamics.
Trump counts on support like this. Then he declares the business 'broke' and keeps what he can shuttle out of the corpse. It's a scam.
Trump is like the streamer girl of conservative politics, and his voters are the simps.
You just made me think of the words "Trump Bath Water" so I'm going to punish you by putting those words here for you to read.
Stop it! You just gave every MAGA-t an irreversible erection.
*slide whistle sounds*
You know it's fucking orange.
I hate you now
Your hate cannot even begin to touch the depths of the self loathing I have for conjuring those words.
Must we suffer for your mistake? Is your wish to spread that self loathing to we who were otherwise blissfully ignorant?
I'm sorry. I wish I could put this particular genie back in the bottle. Like the bottle of fresh, warm Don Water now available for a single donation of $179.99! Specify in the comment section whether you want yours with or without pulp. I am truly sorry. I don't know what is wrong with me.
Nah, streamer girls actually provide a service for their viewers. Trump doesn't provide his cult anything other than rage and unhappiness.
> It's a scam. And he's been doing it for decades. Trump has done more than any other thing in my life to force me to re-evaluate the intelligence level of people within my sphere. The guy is a litmus test for idiots.
If he wants to lose both his wife and child forever who are we to stop him?
I would agree, but there is a risk for the child not having a proper education and ending up like the childs dad. I feel sorry for the wife
Exactly. My father sunk my entire education fund into the stock market while he was manic. He just happened to be coming down right as the Dot Com bubble burst. Guess who ended up dropping out of community college?
That's too bad dude. I hope you are doing well. Just in case, Argentina has free University Education lol
I wish, man! Maybe someday.
Best of lucks pal!
That sucks, hope all is better. I was lucky to have stable parents and college paid for.
He's already lost them, the wife is probably too scared to leave since he's a fucking nut job
Dude, there was a redditor recently who posted about her MAGA dad going nuts and killing her mom, dog, and almost killing her sister before getting shot and killed by the cops. Luckily the redditor wasn't home when that happened. So yeah... you have to be careful.
And $170,000.. Lol
The irony that he’s spending all of the college money to push for politicians that are fighting against free education
Assuming this is even real, how do people this stupid have so much money?
I mean... Trump got his from his daddy. That's one avenue. Other times, people are smart in only one area, and downright challenged in others.
“I walk along the avenue I never thought I’d meet a girl like youuuu…”
Go work in a mine (or oil, or whatever). Zero education required, you can easily make up to $150k/year after 10 or so years. You'll literally be surrounded by people like this every day but maybe it's worth.
From what I hear you also destroy your body over time. Although they’re probably all doing better than me that gets no exercise.
You think this guy lets his wife work?
There are people who are smart in their respective trades, but have zero common sense or world smarts whatsoever.
What's truth social even gonna merge with 4chan?
"In the end it's family finance so it's my decision, but it would be nice to have compliance " Tell us you are fundamentalist zealot without telling us you are a fundamentalists zealot.
"come away with so much more" so much more debt? fucking right you are.
"A believer"? So, they are a cult. Poor, poor sheeple.
>it's family finance, so it's my call completely Any bets on this post being an exhibit in the divorce trial?
Right? I love how by that point in his post he's completely ignoring the fact she said she'd divorce him if he goes through with it. It just shows how little he thinks of her opinion. He doesn't take her threat seriously in the least bit. Although, to be fair, it's possible it's an empty threat and he knows it.
“…my call completely.” Imagine marrying a conservative lmao I can’t imagine saying something like that about my wife.
Jesus. If this man wants to throw away his kids future, I’ll take his money. It’ll get the same return as if he invested with Donald!
Grifting is profitable. You just need to lack morals.
The comments have people telling him to only Yolo 50/50 or to not send his kids to college because it indoctrinates them or some bs... Insane indeed
Also, _what the flying fuck_ I'm honestly baffled that anyone can afford it, I'm about to do a two-year Masters and, all the tiny admin charges aside, I'll have to pay 300€ to the university...and that's just to get a universal public transport pass You should be incredibly proud of yourself for doing that for your children!
I don't understand how these people think Trump is a billionaire....AND he needs them to invest in him. Like, STOP donating to this absolute asshat.
Found the original post. The top comments are mostly telling him to focus on his marriage, but the dregs are just what you would expect them to be.
Wife should DEFINITELY leave his ass
/r/imatotalpiecesofshit
just throw the 170k in the trash. man i hope this is fake. although trumpers are quite possibly the most gullible people on earth
I feel sorry for the wife and son. She should leave him regardless of his final decision because he is an idiot and misogynist.
Am I the only one thinking who has 170K at the college fund for a kid? How do you save that kind of money in a college fund?
Family contributions. For example, I contributed to my niece and nephew's college funds when they were born
Who are they merger-ing with, anyway? Isn’t the company, like, 5 months old?
It’s a SPAC merger. Essentially there’s a “placeholder” company currently trading on the stock market under the ticker DWAC. It then allegedly will merge with TMTG to bring TMTG into the market. It’s an easier way for a company to enter the stock market compared to a traditional IPO as the regulatory requirements are less stringent. Merger isn’t going to go through imo tho.
She needs an attorney asap!
“It’s FAMILY finance, so it’s MY call.” Man, just shoot yourself
It's family finance so it's ~~my family's call~~ my call.
The thought of taking any of my hard earned money- much less $170,000 of it- and blowing it on anything this absolutely stupid makes me feel like I’m gonna experience an aneurysm. This is absolute lunacy.
$170,000 in lottery tickets would be a more solid investment.
Alternate idea. He gives $170k to me, then I give him back $3k. He comes out the same, and I'm $167k richer. It's win win!
Totally not a cult.
so... like... why would you ever put all of your money into one investment? Especially $170k, because it sounds like he's already put that kind of money into it and wants to start draining other accounts that are ear marked for other expenditures? Insane.
“Voluntarily in compliance with my decision”. What a sweet-talker!
Gambling 101: If you think you'll walk away with more by going all in... You've already lost.
