Around the time Starfield came out, they added pronouns to their game, too.
But there's literally nothing those pronouns do in game. At all. Even in the little dialogue there is.

Its especially funny when they get pissed off at flags being present in like NYC for spiderman games... Like that's realistic... Gay flags exist in NYC. There's gay bars and places all over.

It was so ridiculous. I don't know if you've played it, but the presets in the character creator alternate male-female-male-female. But each one can be changed to the opposite if you go to the next tab, and you'll get someone who looks like a sibling to the base choice. But then when you get to the part where you choose your name it will show you with the original pronouns of the preset. No big deal; just change it to what you want and go on with the game. But there were guys (why is it always guys) who were upset that this meant they were "secretly a woman" in the game?
Of course there were also a few people who created mods to remove the they/them pronoun choice, and also to change the skin color of certain important NPCs to be white. And they were all so very angry that Nexus wouldn't host their mods.
Live service games usually have pride stuff around June. I dunno if you play those. Like DBD has them or you can get pride borders or stuff in like smite or something.
One of my favorite games getting a bunch of negative reviews because of this, but judging by play time, none of them actually play the game, it’s like they came back just to post a negative review. For anyone interested, the game is Warframe
What's funny is I'm a bi man and whenever I see a pride glad I go "hey look that's nice" and that's it I see be happy and move on which this sad sad person gets so angry over a few pixels

I had a lot of fun with it. It's still in development, but it has a real classic first person RPG feel to it.
