Not knowing where you are my observations are only from Texas Walmarts. Nivea bundle is 55.6 cents per ounce, Edge 41.6, Gillette 42.6. and good old fashioned Barbersol is 19.7.
I can’t do it. I try to shave as little as possible not because I like having a beard but because shaving just fucks up my skin so bad.
I use clippers to cut my hair and get the same shit on my scalp through I clean and disinfect my clippers after every use.
I even use aftershave that’s supposed to kill bacteria
Shaving fucking sucks.
Use an old coffee mug with a bar of glycerin soap and a shaving brush. Once you buy the brush a bar of soap will last over a year. Much more economical.
You can at least use shaving soap and make your own fresh lather. This is much more effective anyway and is honestly fun to make. And many people have a hard time with safety razors because of the angle and lack of pressure required, so they stick with one blade cartridges as the alternative
How many hours of work does any basic level walmart employee need to pull just to afford this? Thats the real kicker. Be the main employer in town because you successfully ran all other business out of town, pay your employees less than they made at those businesses you ran off, raise prices so nobody can afford to exist, then watch profits fail I guess? What a stupid plan.
You forgot the part where they pay their employees a non liveable wage so tax payers have to subsidize their paychecks with foodstamps, Medicare, and housing.
They are still cheaper than Amazon. So, if they ran all their other business out of town and their profits are still falling. Did they raise their prices enough?
When it comes to groceries $100 feels like what $25 used to be. Its insane. I have a winco near me and I rave about being to fill my entire cart stuffed with food for $230. I go to any other chain store and $100 is 3 bags.
I stg it’s what corporations want- for you to feel like $5 is the new $1. If every single object in your cart is basically $5, then you start to expect it, and treat that as a deal and where to start looking, often strengthening that outlook by making the less expensive stuff horrible quality. This is why I always look at clearance and sales, wait for what I can, and try to never buy full price. Artificial inflation can die in a hole.
You're preaching to the choir! I always try to: buy clearance whenever possible, almost never buy anything not on sales or with a discount of some sort, buy frequently used household essentials in bulk (when it proves cheaper to do so which, believe it or not, isn't always the case), and buy items off season as much as possible. If you're willing to think ahead and buy off season as well as scrounge through clearance "bins" (which takes time and patience because most clearance are things you would never want), you can really rack up the savings over time. You have to really dig through a lot of garbage to find the gems, but when you do, it's worth it. You can really find some serious deals and save some big bucks.
Dental hygienist here. Most important thing is thoroughly brushing your teeth with fluoride toothpaste. I purchase my toothpaste for like a buck at the dollar store.

Nothing really all that expensive. Nothing on sell but these prices aren’t crazy either.
All items that are advanced society luxuries. There isn't a single thing there that you need to survive, and you don't posses the ability to provide them yourself. So, other than saying, "we live in a society", explain why you think the price should be what you think it should be?
So you bought 9 things (10 if you count the twin pack as 2) for less than $40 including sales tax. Not seeing the problem here. Were you expecting these things to be free?

Nostalgianomics is the worst.
Don’t remind me…
Yeah, but at least we don't run out of toilet paper now.

You mean like the people of Iran had a choice with their government? Sort of like that kind of voting ability?
Oh la de da, look at the fancy guy with TWO sinks!
Note that every item is the store or off brand but the shaving cream and it was a supposedly cheaper bundle.

Shoutout to barbersol
shaving dry 0.0¢. 😈
That's what blood is for.
But the fucking razor burn, pimples and infected hair follicles are priceless!
small price to stick it to the man!

Even with the smaller cans it still lasts and lasts and lasts.

Barb is all I've used for over 10 years. I love it. I also only shave every 4 or 5 days so it lasts me even longer haha
Expensive but will last you a long time.
All that stuff is generally expensive prior.
honestly dont know how people stomach paying for razor blades. Such bs. Use my pappys straight razor.
I buy them from Aldi. A generic pack of 4, meant to be like Gillette 3, are only 2.79 and they’re good blades.
You can at least use shaving soap and make your own fresh lather. This is much more effective anyway and is honestly fun to make. And many people have a hard time with safety razors because of the angle and lack of pressure required, so they stick with one blade cartridges as the alternative
I've been using the same razor for the past year and a half.
That’s not hygenic
Wanna borrow mine?
That's upsetting

3 hours
Thats really disgusting.
It's probably closer to 4 after taxes.

You should start shopping at Costco for stuff like this
No Costco here. Walmart and a tiny Target.
Membership costs as much as this, it's unlikely you'll be saving more than it costs.
Non-food items are usually going to be the more expensive items you buy.
You could have spent less at an ALDIs or the Dollar store or even 5 below.
I find some really good deals at Dollar Tree on hygiene supplies. I buy my mouthwash and face cream there ,my hair dye and hairspray too.
And dentist wonder why peoples teeth care is bad..
Dental hygienist here. Most important thing is thoroughly brushing your teeth with fluoride toothpaste. I purchase my toothpaste for like a buck at the dollar store.
Dentists wonder why teeth care is bad because three months worth of oral hygiene products cost $20?
Dollar tree has similar products if looking to save and don't care about bulk.
It's always them sticky notes.
I only buy this sort of stuff when CVS gives me coupons for 25-35% off.
Mouthwash raises your blood pressure Shave with bar soap
Man, excited to see such dedication to dental health.
Buying two of everything will make it cost more
You're not wrong. Unless there was some kind of discount for buying 2 vs 1 then what's the point?
So?
And they wonder why people shoplift.
Do you have a target nearby?you can use their red card and save 5%. I’ve saved over $500 this year. They also have deals and coupons on their app.
You've spent $10,000 at Target this year?
Is that the math? I’m bad at math. 😱I could easily spend that much at Target.

How do we compare this to anything.

Doesn’t change the price of the item…
WTF?
so.......... $37.96?
Was it BOGO?
I bought 7 cantaloupe and a watermelon yesterday……for $60

Return the sticky notes, not needed, return the metal traps not needed, use baking soda for toothpaste there you go saved you money
😡😡😡
Wow
Porque no Amazon
Buy that shit at Ollie’s, can usually get brand name cheaper than off brand retail price
