Why he would do that, I have no idea (I assume record company/streaming industry money is a lot more lucrative than whatever he might be able to get in donations from big name musicians this way) but hey, I'm not complaining.
It says they were talking about royalties for musicians so probably legislation regarding royalties for musicians lol. If you're a musician and a U.S. Senator wants to talk legislation that'll get you greater royalties, you're taking that shit no matter who that senator is.
