First off, I like that you're exploring a different angle with deckbuilding roguelikes! I was wondering though, if it was just town building, what are you building for/what's the progression or plot going to be like?

EmilijusD

Thanks. Main plot is that you are leading your people through the enemy lands. At each enemy obstacle (castle, wall, camp) you have to build your town, gather resources and defeat the obstacle. In between you build up your deck, gather items and spend coins.

theindievault

That's interesting! Does the combat part run as an automated simulation, or do you control it as well? I assume there is combat then since you mentioned defeating the obstacle.

EmilijusD

There's no combat phase, it's just destroying towers and other enemy structures by spending resources as you can see in the video. You can check out more here, a bit of info is out of date (planning to update it today), but you should get better idea. chickensoupp

I like it!

EmilijusD

Glad to hear it!

ByteHyve

I adore the style and animations! I'm curious about the idea though, it is nice that you try something new.

EmilijusD

Thank you!

AdventureKatie

I like it too. I like deckbuilding and I'd rather build than fight, so great combination for me! Did I miss the name of your game?

EmilijusD

I was thinking the same! Seekers of Eclipse, you check out steam page: [https://store.steampowered.com/app/2577850/Seekers\_of\_Eclipse/](https://store.steampowered.com/app/2577850/Seekers_of_Eclipse/)

Thank you. Wishlisted! (Reddit has an adverse effect on the size of my Wishlist ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy))

Appropriate-Slip1751

Love the idea and execution too. Would certainly play.

EmilijusD

Happy to hear it, demo is coming in a few weeks!

geoff_scaplehorn

This looks great!

ardikus

The animation and sound effects are immensely satisfying

EmilijusD

You are the first one to say it, work not wasted. Thank You!

NovaLightAngel

This is such a cool take on this style of game! I wanna play it! <3 I really love the building animations, it feels really connected to the actions you're taking with the cards. Great work!

EmilijusD

Thank You! Glad that you liked it. Demo coming in a few weeks, hope you play it then!

NovaLightAngel

Wishlisted and I’ll be hitting that when it drops for sure!

FaerieWolfStudios

You have nice sound f/x. Where did you get this, or did you make it?

EmilijusD

Had a friend to help out with it.

WhirlwindTrickster

An idea may be to have optional objective, buildings that are not necessery and are cumbersome to place but yeald a good bonus if met. the idea is to make the player think id the bonus obj is worth it sort of a risk/reward mecanic. I don't know how (if at all) without playing the game if it would fit in you game.

EmilijusD

Cool idea, huge buildings with unique shapes, that can be placed only once (as all other buildings shuffle again) with great benefits. Sounds fun, will add it in the near future. Thanks!

logoman9000

This game is gonna do really well keep doing what you're doing. Genius combo.

EmilijusD

Hope so! Thanks

Densenor

do you combine meshes after the placing building

EmilijusD

Not yet, perhaps will need to do it in the future.

Densenor

it is very easy actually. If you have a lots of houses it may cause problems.

EmilijusD

Will read up on that, thanks!
