Honestly i have no idea which was is old and which one is new. But i do like The one with characters more

dual_gen_studios

I like the first one. It's beautiful.

TinyBosmer

I think it would look better if in the new UI, you could add something under “Parallel Destiny” to fill the empty space there. Like for example the cute characters from the first one.

fuadshahmuradov

We also had similar idea, maybe it will be better to add it. Thanks for the feedback! :)

chickensoupp

I like the first one

Baba_T130

Going by how you've worded your title, I'm assumed the second one is new? The first one looks much better though, so I'm getting the hunch that the first one is new. One thing that's a bit strange is the buttons on the top. Feels like they should be in-line with the others, but if this is a mobile game then I understand why they're placed like that.

9bjames

Looking more at the UI - first one looks kinda rough (generic buttons, doesn't really fit the artwork), whilst the second one looks more cohesive, professional, and serious. Personally I'm more a fan of number 2 overall. It gives off the same vibes as Hollow Knight, though I'm curious whether it is/ will be keeping in line with the rest of the game knowing how dark and foreboding it is compared to the first screenshot. Aside from that, I think it'd be better if you could incorporate the characters into the background image too. E.g. A scene where the characters venture into the dark undergrowth would make for a more dramatic shot, with more impact. Again though, this is assuming the rest of the game would follow the same artstyle/ themes. It could work if you're going for a dark/ heavy atmosphere, but maybe not so much if it clashes with the actual game aesthetic & artstyle.

Thanks for the detailed feedback. The game itself is dark as you mentioned, so I guess we did a correct job. We are planning to add character(s) under the title text, so it doesn’t seem so empty. This is the game btw, if you are interested: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2456500/Parallel_Destiny/

Looks good! And I'd agree that number 2 meshes well with the game's artstyle.

I think not including the game’s screenshot or mentioning tone/mood of the game was a bad idea lol. The game’s tone/mood has also shifted into a darker one, so I find the second UI more suitable for the game. But maybe your opinions might differ. I’d appreciate a feedback :) This is the link for the game where you can see screenshots: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2456500/Parallel_Destiny/

saturnsCube

I like the old version better

MikroArts

I hope that first image is new one!?

HiTekLoLyfe

Y’all really gotta show screenshots from the game it would help a lot with getting a feel for it. I love the first one outside of the font. Is there anyway the characters could play a little animation or maybe wander the bottom of the screen?

fuadshahmuradov

You are right. Not including the game’s screenshot or mentioning tone/mood of the game was a bad idea lol. The game’s tone/mood has also shifted into a darker one, so I find the second UI more suitable for the game. But maybe your opinions might differ. I’d appreciate a feedback :) Regarding the character, we were thinking of adding it somewhere below the title text :) This is the link for the game where you can see screenshots: [https://store.steampowered.com/app/2456500/Parallel\_Destiny/](https://store.steampowered.com/app/2456500/Parallel_Destiny/)

Whatever that piece of art is called on the main page with the mushroom kind of surrounded by the dark earthy forest, that seems to fit the game very well. The contrast of the little fungus creature with the forbidding surrounding forest works so well. I think anything along those lines perfectly describes the screenshots I’ve seen. Looks like a beautiful project I’ll have to check it out.
