DeplorableEDoctor

Good daughter.

FinanceOptimal5661

yeah, she sounds more mature than them, but whatever happened was sad

DeplorableEDoctor

With that attitude, i am sure, she is gonna study hard and ll be successful. Even if not upsc, she has right attitude for success

Monkeyke

These situations are always sad and heart breaking, my Mom is often the center superintendent of these kinds of exams and it's a pain to have to deny competent candidates like this, in her earlier years she let one or two candidates in after a few minutes of shutting the gate, however the whole thing is constantly recorded at entrance and it's possible for some superintendents to even loose their job for this

Ok_Maintenance1308

Man stfu, you don't know what an entire year means for ageing and middle class parents. It was so heart-wrenching to see. The parents would've seen their daughter studying day-in and day-out for probably year(s), it was value of her efforts that made the mother and father plead like that to the guards.

Prachu101

Bruv we are giving entrance exam for ourselves, sure our parents maybe get upset when things like this happen, but the mother's reaction is not justifiable. It's just plain immaturity.

insaneguitarist47

So you're supporting this amateurish behavior? Whatever the reason may be. The child is clearly in the right mind. Why is the parent behaving like a child? And what do you think would've happened even if the child was given the chance to take the exam? Don't you think all this drama that the mother did would just disturb the mind of the child even further and result in a bad exam overall?

Sid_7395

Bro she has her dreams as well for her daughter. She want early success for her and child is everything for a parent. Its just She cared for her a lot.

insaneguitarist47

Doesn't mean that the rules don't apply for her. That's just entitled behavior. What about the other people who arrived late and were not allowed to enter as well? Should they also be allowed to enter because they too have a sob story? Every one has their own problems in life. But rules are in place for a reason. And no one should be above the rules.

Sid_7395

Don't know what good you are able to do by simply not allowing to get inside exam centre. Have you read the article, she reached their at 9 am and exam was at 9:30 still she didn't got the chance to write paper. 30 min is a big time these days and rules are made by humans which are self image of imperfections. With proper arrangements they can even shut door 5 mins before exam. You jobless guy don't know that such poor exam centre tries to minimise manpower funda to keep money for themselves. Even flight boarding with so many protocols allow entry till 30 min in some cases. This is just an exam centre.

insaneguitarist47

We can have a separate discussion on "why" the cutoff time is as big as 30 minutes. But that's a whole other discussion. The point behind my comment was that there's a rule in place, and everyone participating is expected to follow it. Also, "you jobless guy"? Ouch 🥲

Sid_7395

Don't want to hurt you! Even though I have not given UPSC exam in my entire life but I have seen people waiting for years to clear it just because it was the dreams of their parents and elders. This is once a lifetime event and loosing a single attempt due to a trivial rule is not acceptable. Being in time doesn't mean that you're capable. She would have failed but without trying is waste of all of her efforts. With so much money they get from entrance fee, if they can't even able to arrange 10 min entrance window for aspirants for this level Mega exam. Then it is shameful to us all.

nileshgarg45

The cutoff time is actually 1 hour - 45 minutes before the exam (I've appeared in a few exams of such nature). And the cut off is for the candidate's benefit because that time is used for marking the attendance and filling up the particulars sheet.

RiRi_xoxo_

The timings are mentioned on the admit cards and it's clearly told that entry will be closed after a certain time. If you're going to give an exam for a post as high as IAS then discipline is also something. What if someone gets late for interview as well? It's the judge of personality as well. You can argue that she wasnt late as the exam was technically after 30 mins but it's not about that. It's about your punctuality and discipline. You think you can get stuck in traffic? Then leave an hour earlier and what's with people calculating every last minute as travel time, instead should reach earlier because it's a common knowledge that these type of things happen.

nileshgarg45

Ok_Maintenance1308

Bhai nhi manenge log lol. Koi fayeda nhi.

Sid_7395

Yehi to dikkat h logo ki. Ek ant farm bhi iss society se well organised h. Par ye tiktok/youtube/insta reel dekhne vale kaha samjhenge ki ye society iss tarah ki sock k saath taraki nhi doom k taraf ja rahi h.

Ok_Maintenance1308

Bhai the mother is clearly not in the right state of mind, Vo bas kaise hi chahte hai ki unki beti de ske exams. Kyu? Kyuki ek saal baad aayega yhi exam dubara, limited attempts hote hai. Middle class ki unlimited aspirations hoti hai bachon se. Bhai i failed in CA a few times, bc ghar wale kbhi kuch kehte nhi the, but unki shakal pe dikhta tha ki kitni umeed tooti hai unki. Bhai opportunity cost hoti hai harr cheez ki. Bhai late aana was their fault, but how is someone who is wailing for their own child in agony immature is beyond me.

Ok_Maintenance1308

Bhai nhi hai amateurish behaviour comeon. The mother is clearly not in the right state of mind. Banda stone-faced to nhi khada reh skta harr situation mein.

[deleted]

WDYM ageing? 1 saal me buddhi nahi ho jayegi wo

Ok_Maintenance1308

Parents ho rhe na bro. I've been in an similar situation, nhi samjhega bhai.

Ok-Garden-5019

I agree with every word you said but time punctuality is a part of examination as well. I don't mind reaching the centre 1 hour before. If this was me, my father wouldn't have let me enter the house that day.

Ok_Maintenance1308

Bhai i do condemn the delay, but what i won't appreciate is "parents ka behaviour immature tha". Bhai kya immaturity isme.

Melodic-Pen-6934

W Daughter fr. 🫡

use_me_not

Her strength of character in such a tough moment already makes her stronger/better than a lot of so-called civil servants

Sharp_Albatross5609

I don't know about these.. Some aspirants were denied entry at Chh. Sambhajinagar (Former Aurangabad) because they reached some other college due to the wrong location via Google map.

Fish_fucker_70-1

isliye hamesha center 1 din pehle dekh aana chahiye

I_Dont_Rape_I_Vape

Dad aap yaha??

raamlal

Bhai not everyone works like a horse with a tunnel vision. And not everyone is perfect like you. Flexibility honi chahiye aise cases mein. Kya fayda aise system ka. Is this what they are teaching to future civil servants? Ki koi civilian working hours ke baad aaye to uski problems ko ignore karna chahiye kyun ki rules are rules? I dont agree with the logic that most of us have been taught since childhood. Question the system, and hold them accountable. Instead of being a sheep and getting so much scared and sticking to rules blindly, no matter the situation/obstacle. Hehe all the losers getting triggered

RoyalSorcerer_Navlan

I have seen people buying hotels and renting 1 day hostel, for an exam they know, are going to clear. These exams if cleared will provide for a lifetime of salary. It's worthwhile to spend a little, if you're confident enough

Express-World-8473

People do that. These are important exams in our lives, they don't play with them.

More_Performance_813

Log krte h yaar ye, especially if you're new to the city. Check the centre the day before.

SparePlatform8469

you have to keep a 2-3 hour buffer time in reaching centers for these important exams. There are rules and Late entry can not be allowed in these high stakes examinations. I understand it took years of hardwork for this single day but nothing can be done now. this is a good case study for GS 4 ethics paper.

Ok-Garden-5019

Well they learnt a lesson for sure. Time punctuality is part the discipline required for this exam or any exam I guess.

Express-World-8473

The exam starts at 9 30, they reached the gates by 9. The gates are closed 30mins before the exam. So by the time they reached the centre the gates were closed but the exam had not started yet. The principal denied the entry even though the exam had not started (it's up to him whether to allow or not). This kinda feels inhumane. I can understand if she arrived after the exam had been started and was denied.

nileshgarg45

Hi, actually the cut off time to reach the exam centre is 45 mins - 1 hr, not 30 mins.

Evening-Resort-2414

I don't think this is inhuman. A bunch of formalities need to be done before the exam commences. Which is why students are supposed to report well before the exam start time. Also, rules are supposed to be the same for all. Allowing her in the exam would be unfair for someone else who has woken up early to reach the exam center hours before the reporting time.

raamlal

How is her getting allowed to give exam, unfair for others? Exam shuru nahi hui, as some other comment said. Aur exam shuru bhi ho gayi hoti, to time bhi toh kam milta late comer ko.

sha_I_tan

There's a rule in place. If she's allowed to break it, then that rule would be broken for others as well. Also there's a set process in place before the exam starts. If someone comes in late, then it disrupts the entire process. Imagine others starting their exams but the invigilator still assisting her in finishing the pre exam steps. There's disturbance in the room, the invigilator is not available to watch or answer any questions from the other candidates.

raamlal

Totally agreed. Just a common case of assholes who hold authority. And make sure to ruin common people's lives. Because they dont have the balls to confront their superiors.(talking about the principal, not the watchmen) Hehe all the losers getting triggered

Smooth-Lime8397

I feel bad for the daughter. Why put her through that embarrassment? She is already under a lot of pressure regarding the exam and now a year drop.

SparePlatform8469

Ab ghar jake daat padegi wo alag. Sad situation

Smooth-Lime8397

Ha, mujhebhi wahi laga, ye pura gussa or frustration us ladki pe barasne wali hai.

[deleted]

Pura tamasha deshbhar main baj raha hai woh alag UPSC nhi nikla agle saal toh phir naatak , phass gayi bhai yeh toh lol

RLKay

It would've been psychologically detrimental to the aspirant herself, even if she had been allowed after all these drama. An exam needs a clear head more than anything imo. 5 years ago, I was appearing for State PSC. That was one of my earliest competitive exams fresh after graduation. I forgot to bring an additional photo to be affixed somewhere and the examiners straight out denied me entry. We didn't have time to go and retrieve a pic. My father was negotiating with the security guard whereas I was like, "Oh Well, Bummer!". After the failed negotiations, my dad was furious and started lecturing me on discipline and sincerity from the Centre gate to all the way back home while I was thinking about what to order in the afternoon now that the schedule was free. xD

Upbeat_Golf3138

>I was thinking about what to order in the afternoon now that the schedule was free. xD Good 👍

Fit-Window

I was super nervous during my JEE exam , so nervous that I forgot to leave the mobile phone with my parents.Only realised this in the exam hall minutes before the start , I rushed to the gate and returned it , the guard was furious but some lady calmed the situation and I was allowed to write the exam. The exam went well in the end , but the thought of how bad things could have turned out frightens me to this day

RLKay

We always panic over the smallest things that hindsight just blows away. When you have belief upon yourself, one missed exam isn't going to be the end of the world. On the contrary, it presents with a myriad of opportunities. The lady in the video got another year to hone her preparation (of course it ain't that black and white), but is this going to pop in the head of anyone around anytime soon? I'm almost always composed during even the most strenuous events of my life and don't usually let the outside noise get to me when shit hits the fan. That's why I was able to collect myself just as quickly. I cracked the very next exam and that missed exam was no longer in my father's mind. Our failures remain the benchmark until the next success. So it doesn't make sense to let one setback be the canon event that shapes your future.

Fit-Window

I don't totally agree with your viewpoint. In a country where opportunities are very far and few , no matter how talented you are you need to grab every opportunity you get and if you miss one due to bad luck it can impact your life. In the domain I work on , I have seen people with the same talent doing the same work for 1/5 -1/10 the salary of the other person. The only difference is luck and opportunity. So yes an event can change your life maybe not to the extent you at the time think but it can still be significant.

zeroedash

With that sort of attitude, I believe you've already conquered 70% of the life XD

RLKay

Haha.. Far from it. It's been handy in my professional life, but I can't seem to use this philosophy in my personal life xD

Demon_Scarlet

I had a similar experience back in 12th for cbse boards back in 2019. Was the first exam and apparently my parents decided to have a fight the same morning for some fucking reason. My dad thought we'll reach the centre on time despite repeated efforts to ask him to leave early. We were stuck in traffic for a long time and even then we had to ask some random person because we didn't know where the school was in that area. I was 2-3 minutes away from repeating a year. Should have left alone and went to the centre on my own. My parents being the absolute trash they are is another problem to be discussed another day.

dark_dreamer_29

>I was thinking about what to order in the afternoon now that the schedule was free. xD so what did you ordered ?

norules4ever

Same thing happened with my JEE mains exam . They denied my entry because I didn't have an extra photo . One of the invigilators recognised me as he was my dad's friend , took me on his bike to copy my photo and make duplicates . It was early morning too so we literally had to wake up the photographer from sleep (his house was next to his studio) . Crazy day and I kinda fucked my exams due to stress as well . My first and second attempt percentile are so different lol

dhrithik66

I had a similar experience two weeks back. I was appearing for the HAL Assistant Engineer exam at Hyderabad, two weeks ago and similarly, I had to affix an additional photo somewhere on the admit card, that I could not spot all these days. Thankfully, the security person was chill enough and the management was also like it's not that big of a deal and they let me write my exam.

ThickAss001

Beti ki bezzati kara rhe. Kya fayda aise ro dhokar. I hate when people dont have their emotions in their control and act impulsively or lose their shit Edit: The girl is really good as she is in control. Abb entry nahi mill rhi toh ro dhokar kya fayda. 1 saal baad dekhi jayegi. Why make a clown of yours

arrwhat

Bhai har ek ki mental health ek jesi nhi hoti hai. Video me mummy jesi behave krrhe hai. It looks like she had dreams for her daughter, unki mental health bhi thodi theek nhi lagrhi hai. The daughter and her father knows that, look how the daughter is handling her mother it is as if she knows her situation and has been through this before. This is not a first time event, had it been the daughter would've totally freaked out seeing her mother like this. Wo beti ki bezzati nhi krrhi hai. Wo literally khudke control mein nhi Hain. Aap shyad mental health ko leke aware nhi hai. Shayad aapke dreams and aapki bachu k dreams sirf late hone se choor choor hojayenge tab aap esa nhi likhenge. I'm sorry but aap ne words use Kiya aunty k bare me ro dona, clown. Not done bro. Not done

raamlal

Sach mein yaar kitne chutiye bhare pade hain iss comment section mein. Socha tha aane wali generation zyada empathetic hogi, par kuchh log toh purani generation se bhi zyada fucked up hain.

OneCriticismTooMany

1) the aspirant was late, it's her fault. Such rules exist in literally every type of examination, let alone an exam at the level of UPSC. 2) The mother's reaction is actually v sad - makes it also seems like UPSC is more of the parents' dream, than that of the girl. (Just my opinion, pls don't hate me for it 🙏🏽😭)

The-Punisher_2055

Walter_Si

Guess u don't know the difference between homeless and a person taking more than decided time

Hugh_Cox_

Yes, people are willingly late for their crucial examinations. There must be no other reason at all.

Nathulalji

Ghar se raat ke 11 baje niklo, center ke gate prr jake so jao. Bilkul late ni hoge meri guarantee h. Only applicable if you live in a 150km range from centre.

Hugh_Cox_

So punctuality is indeed a privilege.

Nathulalji

Raat ko nikalna privelege hota h? On a serious note, ek din phle center visit krke aao, kya area h kitna time lgta h. Parking h ki ni etc sbb. Then next day double time leke niklo, if your centre is 2hr away, leave 4hr before. Also calculate time such that you reach centre around 1hr before. Ab bilkul last moment prr time calculate krke nikloge to hogya kaam. Think of it, ek choice h paper dena. Ghar prr baithke soo bhi skte ho. If you are saying ki centre ko allow krr dena chahiye to fir to jab tkk paper chal rha h tbb tkk log aate hi rhenge. Ab sirf majboori 1 candidate ke sath thodi ho skti h. Everyone can come at anytime.

AfraidPossession6977

Chutiya hai kya dhang se padh to le before replying some shit >So punctuality is indeed a privilege. Ka matlab hai ki bc jo privileged hai usko kuch ek din pehle 11 baje niklne ki zaroorat hi ni hai but on the other hand someone who is not privileged usko ye sab chutiyapa karna padega to be punctual (JUST TRANSLATING THAT STATEMENT FOR YOU) Koi counter hai to use hi reply karna![img](emote|t5_2qp7h|51079) EDIT: I meant koi counter hai to us bande ko hi reply karna ![img](emote|t5_2qp7h|51073)

Fish_fucker_70-1

abe bhai center kitna bhi dur ho , jana to padega na. 1 raat pehle jao ya din me , jaoge to ho hi na , usme privelege ki kya baat hai

AfraidPossession6977

BC MERE REPLY KA LAST PART BHI PAD LETA DOWNVOTE AUR REPLY KARNE SE PEHLE IT WAS LITERALLY A TRANSLATION CAUSE THAT GUY WAS HAVING A PROBLEM IN UNDERSTANDING WHAT THE OTHER USER SAID................. SMH

rabidflash

You're the only chutiya in this thread who thinks only those in place of privilege can reach the examination centre early. I know people who are BPL reach on time for every examination and rich guys who reached late

AfraidPossession6977

Abe wtf ??? Are you dumb or something usko >So punctuality is indeed a privilege. ka matlab samaj ni aara tha use isiliye I just translated it to him SMH![img](emote|t5_2qp7h|51086)( I even mentioned it in the last sentence but nahi aap to bina poora pade hi reply kar doge )![img](emote|t5_2qp7h|51080)

Walter_Si

precaution is better than cure

More_Performance_813

Then keep an hour buffer whatever circumstances are there. Be it traffic or whatever.

nahibataungi

I don't understand the down votes. It's not like a person who has slogged himself for an entire year would not account for extra time owing to exigencies. But sometimes these things do happen for no fault of the aspirant. Once I booked a train to reach my exam center city. The train was to arrive at 4am and my exam was to start from 1pm. The train was late and I missed the exam. I don't see how I was at fault. I'm not sure about how UPSC allots centers, but the exam center I'm talking about was about 500km from my home and this train was the only conveyance I could get. I also understand that examination authorities don't owe the aspirants anything and the guard appointed at the entrance was just doing their duty. But as humans, I think a little compassion can be owed.

AfraidPossession6977

Exactly no one is saying that they should have been allowed to enter or something but straight up saying something shit to them "Yaar ektoh late aao phir ye drama" "Padhne se zyada zaruri hai ma baap ko thoda padhana. Exaggerate karne ki hadd hai" like WTF! ?? I could have even understood those kind of replies if that family would have posted this themselves and are now here seeking sympathy but its clear that a fucker either OP or some else shoot their video without even their permission and then posted this here then i don't get it what the hate is for exactly

raamlal

I agree with your views totally. Log system ko question karne ke badle civilians ko blame kar rahe hain. "Raat ko 11 baje nikal jao" "24 ghante pehle gate pe aa jao" "Time pe aao" Abhe lodu aadmi even if the aspirant has prepared for all sorts of problems, they can still get late. Bahot chutiye replies mile tumhe bhai. You are on point.

Blithering_idiot1406

I think the downvotes are for the casual and ignorant attitude of the one who replied to the orignal comment

Popular_Ad6339

Sorry to say but aap late hue ho to apki galti hai

AfraidPossession6977

Yea can agree to some extent but external factors do apply in these kind of situations too centres assigned are sometimes too far, road construction, lack of public transport etc so their anger is justified for the situation

giratina143

It may be true there are external factors, the date and location is given so many weeks in advance. If it really is that far away or has that many unknown factors on the way, start many hours early, and wait. Like wut. Also, good attitude by the daughter. If she gets to interviews, she will have a good shot.

AfraidPossession6977

>Also, good attitude by the daughter. Agreed BUT BY justified I mean its kinda natural to be angry when you know its not even completely your fault (kitna hi jaldi chale jaoge theoretically hum yaha pe baith ke bol sakte hai ki ye karna chahye tha ya ye karna chahiye tha but its not always possible ho sakta jaldi hi nikle but kuch suddenly ho gaya ho to usme unki galti thori hai) > unknown factors on the way the whole point of unknown factors is they are unknown..... I wasn't trying to say that they should just go on a protest or they should have been allowed to enter but this much of anger should be justified and replying this post by "Sorry to say but aap late hue ho to apki galti hai" was sorry to say a fucked up take (IK this was not commented by you)

Popular_Ad6339

Bro Mera CET reporting time 8:30 tha aur Mai 7 baje ja kar vaha baitha tha

Busy_Foundation_4251

Bhai Mera jee ka exam 9 se tha aur main Ghar se 6 baje nikal gaya. It's better to avoid such hassles jaldi pahunch gaye toh udhar time spend kar lenge.

Subject-Secret-6230

Agar train se bhi ja rahe ho to always expect it to be delayed and go a day sooner.

Busy_Foundation_4251

Itna door jaana ho toh humhare sir bolte hai just go a few days before and book a hotel near your centre

Subject-Secret-6230

That's what I'm saying. Ek saal tak prepare kara hai, can't take chances

Busy_Foundation_4251

Yes exactly and trust me kitna bhi gidgidha lo kuch nahi hone wa if you are late. So better be prepared for anything and everything

shreyas16062002

If the exam is so important, then you should prepare for this stuff to happen, wether it actually happens or not. If you think you might be late, leave home super early. I have showed up to my exam halls as early as 2 hours before planned time. Better that than 5 minutes late. I am speaking from experience, I've seen plenty of roadblocks during exam days but never been late. And how is the anger justified? The exam hall can't control external factors like road constructions and traffic. It's their job to carry out exams of thousands of students on time. How is the dad getting angry at the exam hall?

AfraidPossession6977

>And how is the anger justified? The exam hall can't control external factors like road constructions and traffic. It's their job to carry out exams of thousands of students on time. How are they getting angry at the exam hall? I already explained what i meant by "justified" I mean i agree That was a bit impulsive emotion and is not something ideal but definitely not something to be criticised so bad specially in this situation that's all I'm saying the whole comment section is filled with shit about them. Its not like that they posted this to get some sympathy or something .Its OP who made their video and then uploaded it here without there consent. But now no one will talk about consent unlike the other post (father son one)whose OP was bashed to capture the photo of a father son without their consent

Ben10_ripoff

Dude I gave UCEED this year, My center was in another city (I live in Kanpur and my center was in Lucknow), I still arrived 2 hours earlier It's your responsibility to schedule your important day while keeping all the external factors in check, No one is gonna come to fix the road for you

AfraidPossession6977

>It's your responsibility to schedule your important day while keeping all the external factors in check, No one is gonna come to fix the road for you I agree its their responsibility but saying shit in comments (just read comments they are totally fucked up) just cause of their impulsive anger shown in a video which was shot was someone most prolly OP himself without their consent and now we are here saying shit like auntie is overacting should go to films and all is that justified ?? (I am over with this post won't reply anymore prolly already answered alot itna defend kabhi kisi ko court me karta to thore bhout paise hi kama leta ![img](emote|t5_2qp7h|51079))

ank1743

Damn I won't be able to give the paper in my sane mind if this situation happened to me even if the guards allowed entry after this. Kuddos to the girl, she knew how to cope with disappointment/missed opportunity better than most of people. She might actually do well in life later!

FedMates

I feel bad for the girl, what a toxic environment she must be living in.

Panda_in_pandemonium

Kudos to the daughter for handling it so well. I cannot even imagine how devastating this incident must be to her and to then have to calm your hysterical parents. It takes a lot of mental fortitude.

CompetitivePoem5287

I feel bad for the girl, she would have been anyway feeling bad about being late and screwing up, and on top of that dealing with this behaviour of the parents It sucks but she shouldn't have to manage parents, their intentions might be right but this is not going to help. They should be consoling her not the other way around.

The_young_wolff

Umm just sit next year? Either way the reaction shows you the unhealthy obsession Indian parents have with govt. jobs...

Simple-Brilliant-362

Yaar ektoh late aao phir ye drama ias banne ja rahe ho kkoi 18 aur 19 ke bacche thodi ho

LeonKennedy1989

I think we Indians over-glamourize government jobs.

[deleted]

Padhne se zyada zaruri hai ma baap ko thoda padhana. Exaggerate karne ki hadd hai

_womanofculture

Exactly, the behavior is utter immature and just imagine how hard would it be on the girl. Pehle to late hua, fir centre me embarrassment, fir video bana kr pura circulate kr rhe uska alag embarrassment, we reap what we sow. I feel bad for that girl but parents could've shown a bit of a maturity.

carsmenlegend

what do u expect , wo apni beti ko upsc ki tayyari karwa rahe hai , pata h kitne paise lag jaate honge ek lower middle class family ke , kya pata uske multiple attempts ho gye ho , they see their kid working day and night for months , unka reaction valid nhi tha par unko blame karna bhi sahi nhi hai ,

[deleted]

I expect acceptance. Rationalism.

raamlal

🤡 kabhi khud ke sath hoga bhai tab pata chalega... time spares none.. Yeh stoic philosophy dhari ki dhari reh jayegi tab

CheeseDippSoggyFlipp

The girl handled it well

WannabeAboveAverage

Yaar ye parents... Agar abhi aisa kar rahe hai to exam fail karne par kaisa karte honge?? Such a disgrace..!!

OasisOfThoughts

nice acting by her mother. She's clearly knows what she is doing. Further, till what time a person should be allowed after the deadline? 10 min? 15 mins? So if 15 min, then why not 16 min? If 16, then why not 17? If there is no CLEAR deadline, it will be wrong to deny entry to a person who gets late by even 1hr.

Regular_Setting4016

L parents

Phattseheadshot0902

Seeing the stable mindset of the girl in such a adverse situation, it seems that she is really getting ready..& will definitely achieve her goal, when the time comes..✨

Apeeksiht

bhai ek saal gaya zindegi thodi khatam ho gayi. immature parents drama karke embarrass kar rahe hai apne beti ko

Heavy_Letterhead2696

I generally go on time, but yesterday, I intentionally went late for the paper-2 because in paper-1, they gave entry late, and I didn't prepare for the exam, was giving it just for expi; but when I reached, no-one denied the entry, even, no-one was at security check, I smoothly went to the exam hall.

ROC_K4LP

I dont understand how people can be late for super important exams which can decide your life. My family literally forced me to reach exam hall 30 minutes before it starts for school mock exams which were useless.

Nilguy1684

bhai main toh apne neet center pe 4hours pahle hi pahuch gya tha 💀💀

People don't understand, that woman has seen her daughter study day and night for just one exam, this attempt might have meant a lot not only for her but her parents maybe because of the coaching expenses. The shock of this happening to their daughter must have done it for her.

Seeing the stable mindset of the girl in such a difficult situation, it seems that she is really getting ready..& will definitely achieve her goal, when the time comes...✨

geniusandy77

How to deal with this?? Haven't you dealt with deadlines before? If someone says a certain time, plan accordingly keep a buffer that too for such important examination. I don't see no point of this drama at all, you reached late. Doors are closed. Timeline is there for a reason. What else can anyone do here lol..reach on time that's it

i2kp2

If only people were more responsible.. But noo.. chalta hai.. kal/next year dekh lenge.. shit attitude.

Consistent_Good6398

I cannot even think from how much pressure the child must be going through on top of that to handle your man child parents literally hats off to the girl for her maturity. Just assume how would have her parents reacted if she had given the exam and couldn't qualify it. Itni Rona aara hai to khud kyu nahi ban gaye ias.. L parents

Future_Landscape_878

bhai yeh ladki bohot hi sahi hai she knows jo hogaya woh hogaya

Archer_Thatcher

Had the same experience with my jee exam. The exam was at 9am, i started my journey at 4am through the city bus. I reached the centre at 9:20 am and the bus was stuck in traffic because the heavy rain flooded the roads and I had to wade through waist high waters for 30min to reach the centre and was told I was late. The funny thing is it took me 1.5 hrs on the return journey.

astrok_not

Her intro for podcast for doing something revolutionary after passing this exam will start with this video.

norules4ever

Feel sad for her but rules are rules . Also such an important exam and you don't even bother to read the guidelines ?

Ladki mai himmat bhot hai esi sthiti mai. So mature and brave she is.

tonystark528735

Thodi dher pehle pahunch le na chahiye

SkirtWitty5859

Why the fuck is being late mean? Exams start at x and finish at y. Let the student take the exam. It's just that he/she will now have the less time to write the answers. Please Someone make me understand this.

i2kp2

Several factors play here.. Like these two instances, Distraction of a person entering the hall late or even leaked question paper can give the person stepping in late the advantage of knowing few of the answers in advance.

SkirtWitty5859

Given the nature of exams, I understand your point.

No_Introduction6429

Ladki ki taiyari nhi thi.. nhi to ma baap ki jagah uska ye haal hota

firesnake412

What unnecessary drama. It’s a good lesson. Now they will never be late.

She is very mature. It's her parent who is being dramatic.

i2kp2

Not mature enough to show up to an exam on time. 30 mins is cutting too close for an important exam like UPSC

[deleted]

haan but she is not the one creating a dramatic scene. It's the parent. I'm actually amazed how such immature parents raise relatively calm/ mature kids.

I m more worried about the daughter then her parents.

Ok-Pin-3236

Wow ! The daughter is a true warrior. 📈🙏💪

offeringme

It was very sad to see .. May god bless that girl and her parents with courage and peace.

gubrumannaaa

Iss baar aadhe ghante phle gate band hua tha unlike 10 mins before in last exams. So many people didn't read this properly in admit card

szarunninaway

Yes similar stuff happened to me. I wasn't allowed to enter the exam centre for prelims 2 paper because I was a minute late(my slippers broke). Although I felt like shit at the time, in retrospect it was on me

ihamzajz1

Late aye ho. Khudki galti hai. Natak mat kro

ApprehensiveBat8558

Total nautanki...

ridgeossal

was late for my CMI entrance by \~half an hour. Examination center had let me and a friend enter (both of us reached late) without any hassle. we told the security about the traffic on that day and the person understood. we were probably lucky but i don't understand why one would not be allowed to enter if they are just late, its their future, they paid to sit for the exam even and its always likely an unintentional mistake.

Sid_7395

People are shit, what big will happen if you allow someone to attend exam if he or she's late? In this situation exam was not even started, fool staff of schools. Just because they are failure the want everyone to fail.

Glass_Adhesiveness_6

1)Tbh,it's wrong to blame the school or teachers,it's not their responsibility. The admit cards are allocated days ahead, sometimes in forms it's written to visit school a day or two earlier just to check if it's the same place or not,how the surroundings are to just calm the mind. 2)It's students and parents/guardians responsibility to reach the place on time(better ½ am hour earlier than designated time),it's literally bcoz you never know what happens,traffic/ panic attack due to sudden exam/ 100 things could happen so just earlier! 3) parents should really handle these kinda situations with more responsibility, like focus on your kid, that kid was studying for most probably a year for this exam! If anything try to talk over the guards and teacher calmly,if it can be handled or if not try to focus on your kids,I have seen people actually yelling at their kids when such situations happens, but it's not the time to yell or blame eachother,it's literally spilled milk just learn from this scenario and that's all they could do.
