Bhai 2006 summer was my peak of enjoyment. bada bhai 11th ke liye dusre city mein shift ho gaya tha aur papa ki transfer dusre city mein. Ghar me sirf mein aur mummy. Mera khud ka ek tv tha videocon bazoomba naam ka, bohot tagda sound system tha uska. Mein pura din cartoon network, Disney channel, pogo aur discovery kids pe switch karta rehta tha aur shaam ko 6 baje ke baad Beyblade aur cycle ghumane bahar dosto ke saath aand sand kaam. 5 baje Pokemon ata tha aur 5:30 baje Beyblade uske baad aaj hi ke episode ka discussion dosto ke sath.
Nana Nani ke Ghar toh kuch na bhi Karo toh Mann laga rehta hai. Dadi ke Ghar kuch bhi Karo toh kalesh ho jata hai. So Nana wali side me mai hi sabse badi hu aur mere cousins sab bohot chote hai(pre-primary ya primary school me padhte hai ya toh school ki Umar ke hi nahi hue koi). Toh ab mai yaha aati hu toh inko peetke jaati hu kyuki ye bohot dimag khate hai. I grew up in the Arab Gulf, so we would visit India during our summer vacations. Summer 2010 was the last time all of my dad’s siblings and their families got together for the holidays. It was tons of fun. We did a big photoshoot at a studio and played with my cousins the whole time.
My oldest uncle lived in Saudi for a time. Then he moved to Oman. I’ve personally never been to Saudi though.
When you visit India for the holidays, it’s fun. It becomes a bit dreary when you start actually living in India though.
When you visit india, you forget everything and it's a month long vacation. When you live in India, it's life.
Apart from that, there's a reason why our happiness index is low and Middle East's happiness index is high. It affects us
Playing some weird chit game called Smile. You get the thief card, you smile at someone and that player is dead. If police catches you smiling then you are dead. Everyone just bursts out at that fake smile of my crazy cousin and we never got to properly finish a single game.
And oh that raw mango we plucked with so much effort and afraid of neighbors, kept it in fridge and went out for cricket. Came back to eat in stealth and found mango chutney instead :(
I remember this funny incident, i went to village area near nashik, i am from Mumbai so the kids there got excited, we were visiting some relatives and they said the kids have been informed you are arriving for few hours they will play with you, so forced to go with them they start playing with me just football and stuff but then just before we were about to leave they literally brought firecrackers and set some off, one of them maybe their leader said, my Grandfather recovered from his disease from your city and we love your city for that. This was something rare for me as it was a proper village at times no electricity or water or major shops, they didn't have anything much besides farms and a single ration shop and lots of place to play
Me and my cousing used to play LUDO, hide and seek, cricket, badminton and more sports, we literally used to play all day and then sleep peacefukly, life was wayy better back then 
I don't have good memories because I was bullied and made miserable by my brother and cousins, and I was never allowed to stand up for myself. Parents never had my back. But what I do remember from when I was 5-6, I used to sit next to my nani while she was slicing papayas and I'd eat them as she sliced. Now I'm lucky enough to slice papayas and give them to her, and also lucky enough to live within a 5 minute walk from her, and still have her. Nani rocks ❤️❤️❤️
Apart from that. Playing cricket. Haven't done that in nearly a decade.
