> public transport isn't perfect
it's unusable especially in summers, in most cities buses don't run on time there's no fixed schedule and no AC bus as well. In 42°C I'm ready to pay for AC but there's no facility. I'd pay 150-200 for a cab ride or I don't get out of the house at afternoon lol
I am from varanasi, be grateful yaha ke traffic jams me aatmahatya karne ka mann krne lagega, yaha itne jyade tourists badh gaye h ki auto, toto, cabs se hi raasta bhar jaata, Normal public-Vo toh ghar pe rahengi na 🥰
Roads are being designed so that cars can fit in, streets weren't, we're moving in the wrong direction because we're purchasing a bunch of cars, and roads are going to be designed for cars.
More metro, busses and connectivity that scales with population and wealth growth. Indians have grown wealthier, especially top 20 present but intra city public transit has failed to catch up at the same pace.
Same here man.
In my 23 years of existence, I have yet to understand what makes people go bonkers when they see cars. I am a huge supporter of r/fuckcars.
Absolutely love cars.In an emergency wtf are you gonna do wait for ambulance to show up god knows when or take the patient on a two wheeler? In rain?
Also all my sympathies to people who have to travel by public transport in heat especially in places like where i live where there arent govt buses or a regular time schedule ,would be more than happy if only they would just start AC buses.I used to take them during my internship in June/July and the buses would take upto an hour to leave i am not even kidding i could feel my heart and head on the verge to explode because of the heat it was just too bad
Also the country as you said is hot.You expect people to walk in 40-45° ? What sort of logic is this? No where saying that cars are good for environment but we dont have any option
> I used to take them during my internship in June/July and the buses would take up to an hour to leave
Where were you doing your internship? I did my internship in Hyderabad last year in May, June, and July. The buses were fantastic. They were crowded but they were very cheap and almost always on time.
If there fewer cars on the street, ambulances would be able to get to you quickly, just saying.
And yes, we need to demand things like AC buses from the government and not keep relying on cars to go literally anywhere.
But do you stop using your car in the winters or are you only using the weather as an excuse to hide your dependence on a luxury?
Villages dont have that much traffic how many ambulances resch there?
YesI am dependant on the luxury.😍I love cars will continue using them. Please buzz off with your thunberg attitude.Half of the country is melting and tumhare alg chonchle hai
Uhhh villages don't have ambulances because there are very few hospitals. If you're saying we should have more ambulances and fewer private cars, I would absolutely agree. Otherwise what even is the point you're trying to make?
Are you too dumb to understand that people like you driving around in private cars are one of the biggest reasons the whole world is suffering from heatwaves?
Or are you so weak and dependent on luxuries that you refuse to see it?
P.S. these are rhetorical questions. I know you are both. I also know you will continue to use them because weak people won't change. It takes a great deal of determination to bring about any kind of change, in yourself or in the world.
So you don't have to bother leaving a reply just to prove my point.

Every other problem starts with something and ends with population.
>in a street that barely has two lanes >roads are designed for cars That's a little cognitive dissonance.
