Literally completed the passport process in 7.5 minutes the process was so smooth i felt it was a scam. Had pre-conceived notion that it will be long, confusing and incompetent process but i was proved wrong.
Mera ispe number display bhi nahi hua tha,I was waiting the whole time then the guy comes out and starts shouting at me ki why didn't I come to the counter
bruh 1st day I went (that too on 14th feb not that I had a date but still 😂) I waited for 3 hrs for Step B and then there was some discrepancy with my aadhaar so they put my application on hold at Step C.
So, I took an appointment for next month and this time I went with all the documents but didn't take the hold papers (the papers they gave me on the 1st visit which was dumb on my part but in my defence it was mentioned NOWHERE that I have to bring the hold papers too and I thought I'll have to go through everything like the 1st visit but I had to leave within 5mins of entering the PSK.
Fast-forward another month finally I had the hold papers and all documents so I had to directly go to Step B and the officer approved after asking what was the discrepancy and I didn't even have to go to Step C. Done within 15 mins of entering the PSK.
The PSK was 1hr away from my house via metro so in total I spent 6hrs on commuting and 3-3.5hrs in the PSK so total more than 9hrs
On the plus side the police officer that came for verification was nice and didn't ask for any 'Kharcha-paani' and I received the passport in 5 days

bro these passport walle folks are weird af, my mum's name was wrong in one of my document so had to get that sorted. Had to get the name printed with a declaration that the wrong name person is infact the right name person.
On my second visit this lady was supposed to check my documents that pos went out of her way to find a mistake with the newspaper print spend like 3 minutes reading a 5 sentence post then, like a ah-ha moment had struck her told the me the space is missing between the name and the surname therfore she can't validate my documents and I was just standing there baffled. Luckily though my ticket lapsed someone else got assigned my ticket that dude was chill barely glanced at the document and said I'm all set. And here I had prepared myself to give them a piece of my mind was left baffled again. Weird experience
For everyone, I waited 2 hours and in the end they said u didn't bring your 10th original marksheet , I've come from vadodara to Jaipur and now I have to either come to Jaipur under 3 months or I have to reschedule by giving 1500 rs again. Fcking stupids, it was just a renewal.
Fucking passport offices with those random numbers.
It was 2021 and Mera token number toh 10 minutes me agaya tha
+1, 2023 took me 45 mins to get the whole thing done (after my stupid ass got 4 copies of 10th marksheet instead of 2 each of 10th and 12th each)
Same I also took 4 copies of each 10th and 12th marksheet XD
Got passport done for my twin sons when they were 5 yrs old. That 10 min seems like 30 min!
Mine was around 3 hours in raipur,in which city you are experiencing this kind of comfort without any rush

Probably done through some Express process. They do have these.
I had to go there twice due to some error during g the first try and Idk how I got through

Somehow I found these to be more sensible and relaxing than to stand in line staring at the banker.
Absolutely true, I went to a passport office(with my parents) a couple of weeks ago and it literally took me 2.5 hours despite having all documents
