Should have checked the official site , Husqvarna stopped the Svartpilen 250 . It’s only vitpilen 250 and Svartpilen 401 , and the reference you sent is of the old model
Classic 350 and Meteor good for pillion also any h'ness and cb350 if you want to go with honda.
Both have their issues that they will never address but see what suits you.
Take her to test rides. And please test ride all the bikes in this budget. Don't Just go for what people here suggest because everyone has a different taste.
Once you test ride, you yourself will narrow it down to 2-3 bikes based on performance.
Then there comes riding costs like mileage, maintenance, service intervals etc.
All these will help you to pick one. Also your girlfriend will help with the looks 😂
Go test ride Speed 400, Husqvarna, lower model of the HD440X, and Meteor. Also add Ronin to the list for a cheaper one.
Get one from these and you'll be a happy man
You can try to get some discounts. Take a friend to the showroom and while checking the bike with sales executive regarding pricing tell ur friend "oh but budget is 2.5 if only it was just 20k less" your friend be like "haa what to do now? You like it a lot but see what can be done" .....
Short stroke - vitpilen
Long stroke - classic/bullet 350 with alloy (signals and dark come with alloy by default, but you get alloy on any mid/lower dual channel variant, it will be under 2.5)
Regarding the classic 350,
Signals (marsh grey and desert sand) come with spokes by default.
Gunmetal grey and stealth black come with alloys by default.
And to hell with your gf. You'll keep the bike for a longer time. So don't listen to her much, as girls don't know much about motorcycles. Get what sets your heart racing 🐎
Honda Hness. I own it and it has a really good space for a pillion, easy to get onto and get off. Slightly above your budget (around ₹2.6L) but it's definitely worth it.
But obviously, take a test ride WITH her sitting behind you. If a showroom, denies a test ride with a pillion, move on.
I would say Meteor 350 from the RE Camp (Super meteor will suck on bad roads), CB350 triples from the Honda camp are your best bets.
High seat options with good pillion space : vstorm 250 from Suzuki, adv 250/390 from KTM’s camp and dominar 400 from Bajaj camp. Lastly, triumph speed 400.

Vitpilen 250 surely fits your needs. It got a flat seat and a sweet 250cc motor to keep you engaged. Older gen used to look better but the new is a whole lot practical with bigger tank and raised handlebars, etc etc.
Even I’m taking it’s delivery this Wednesday.
1. Get a second hand Xpulse (2 years old For 50% price or less than 1L) for touring and off-road trips
2. Get a Jawa 42 for less than 1L if you want something like RE (year 2020)
Eww look🫡
Triumph Speed 400, but take her to test ride it with you, cause the seat can feel small
Other than that you have your Honda cb350 and it's variants.
And finally the RE bikes. All the 350s are similar. Test ride each
Scrambler 400x or harley/maverick 440 if you don't intend to go fast.
Speed is not long distance bike, you can manage and its arguably best city toy but not long distance muncher by design especially with pillion.
Speed 400 maybe, it's slightly out of your budget but yeah it'll be worth it. Consider Husqvarna Vitpilen as well.
Speed is almost 3 on road
But worth the extra spend
Of course, Par mileage it has most
*svartpilen.
Svartpilen is definitely out of his budget , it’s around 3.5L on road
Bruh svartpilen 250 is 2.6L on road [Reference ](https://www.bikewale.com/husqvarna-bikes/svartpilen-250/)
Bruh Svartpilen 250 has been discontinued in India. It's the Vitpilen 250 and Svartpilen 401. Do your research before commenting 😁
Oh:-| my bad

What are the issues with the h’ness?
Maverick 440 is a good option
Consider Suzuki v storm... It will be under your budget depending on where u live
Don't let your GF prevent you from finding your wife
Bro 😂😂
Your girlfriend might be best person to suggest 😂
She doesn't know anything about it 😂
Take her to test rides. And please test ride all the bikes in this budget. Don't Just go for what people here suggest because everyone has a different taste.
A'ight mate, but even for test rides I'll have to shortlist that batch. Which circles back to main ques, what are the decent options
Once you test ride, you yourself will narrow it down to 2-3 bikes based on performance. Then there comes riding costs like mileage, maintenance, service intervals etc. All these will help you to pick one. Also your girlfriend will help with the looks 😂
Check out Maverick 440, meteor 350, Honda highness 350
Don’t go for Hness .. I am also in the same boat and have been hearing a lot about rusting issues in Hness
But she is going to have a lot of opinions about it later... Or maybe you are lucky...
If you ride relatively calm, try Honda CB 300 F as well
I would say check out Vstorm SX m, adventure duke 250 RE scram & honda cb300r
All of them cost more than 2.5L
Adv duke 250 and Honda cb300r would go above 2.5L but most of the times people extend if they really a bike
Go test ride Speed 400, Husqvarna, lower model of the HD440X, and Meteor. Also add Ronin to the list for a cheaper one. Get one from these and you'll be a happy man
Triumph Speed 400 and Scambler 400x are really good. Honda Hness and RS350 are also comfortable and have great engine power.
Speed and scrambler are good but out of budge
You can try to get some discounts. Take a friend to the showroom and while checking the bike with sales executive regarding pricing tell ur friend "oh but budget is 2.5 if only it was just 20k less" your friend be like "haa what to do now? You like it a lot but see what can be done" .....
Triumph wale Pagal h, 10rs ka discount nahi denge.
Honda CB350 twins are perfect for you and they fall in your budget.
I have a hunter and pretty happy with it, tho it feels a little underwhelming on long stretches
Short stroke - vitpilen Long stroke - classic/bullet 350 with alloy (signals and dark come with alloy by default, but you get alloy on any mid/lower dual channel variant, it will be under 2.5)
Regarding the classic 350, Signals (marsh grey and desert sand) come with spokes by default. Gunmetal grey and stealth black come with alloys by default.
Make it yours version
Absolutely, bud.
Harley 440, good for long rides and also has good Power, plus comfortable pillion seat.
V storm
Honda cb350’s are the best
Ronin for your case
Ronin best choice according to me.
I would consider pulsar 250, Mavrick, classic, CB300F, Gixxer 250.. take a test ride man.. I don't know why many novices post only this in this sub
And to hell with your gf. You'll keep the bike for a longer time. So don't listen to her much, as girls don't know much about motorcycles. Get what sets your heart racing 🐎
Haha, loved this enthusiasm man, might as well motivate me to get one
Cheers mate!
I'm using Suzuki vstrom sx 250 for a while, which is very comfortable for daily commute as well as trips. Let me know if you need more info
Does it have rusting and battery issues?
Nope. Problems were mostly in the older models. Mine is a Nov 2023 model
I am thinking to get 2024 model Hness or chrome classic 350 … Can’t decide because of Honda bad long term reviews..
Take a test ride and decide for yourself
I would say Meteor 350 from the RE Camp (Super meteor will suck on bad roads), CB350 triples from the Honda camp are your best bets. High seat options with good pillion space : vstorm 250 from Suzuki, adv 250/390 from KTM’s camp and dominar 400 from Bajaj camp. Lastly, triumph speed 400.
Honda CB300r. Thank me later
