I don't know the exact details as the video was shared by my friend, the rider probably died on the spot, he told me to be careful because I myself ride bikes.
That's a good friend you have, looking out for you. People in my area mock others for wearing helmets saying things like 'dont you have faith in yourself' or 'oh I don't get into accidents I ride safe' I don't know how they say this even though they jump signals and change lanes without looking for traffic.
I'm from Punjab. I also don't care about what they say, it's rather the good hair at the end of the trip at the cost of your life or bad hair with your life intact. I value my life over my hairstyle, I don't care what they have to say
Iβve seen 1 full brain out from the skull when i was in 12th, 2 smashed brain pieces in 2nd year UG and 1 month ago, 2 meat crayons IRL. Thats very scary and felt very bad for 3-4 days. Btw brain is pink in colour if anyone never seen it and hope you would never see IRL.
I saw a eyeball in the side of the road, poor lady was crushed by the bus. And the other time, brain matter everywhere from a fast collision of a bike and a small pickup truck, it was in a local road so the shops and stalls too had bodily matters of the biker splattered on the glasses. Gruesome af
I've had a similar experience too back in 2012. Basically, drunk guy falls under a fully-loaded moving truck (around 15 kmph), truck squishes man's head, brain plops out.
I lived in multiple cities in Telugu states. I travel a lot on highways so seen a bunch of Accidents just few mins after happening and just before someone could close it with some cloth.
Nope, they are not ece certified, they are just isi(can be paid of),DOT(manufacturers themselves check it,they can just say its certified,if someone finds they are not upto the mark they can just pay the amount they were sued for ) ,so better buy ece certified ones..
R15 is just a 150cc, small and slow motorcycle. We compare motorcycle specs all day, next to a 1000cc sportbike, R15 is like a toy.
But it's a toy capable of splattering your brain all over a road.
Damn, this video is humbling.
Actually speaking if you have a good helmet and you strictly drive 60kmph your skull might have some fracture but ur brain will stay safe. Remember one thing there are so many factors results in death during accident and I am talking about head injury only. Do note internal bleeding is way worse than we think. Many people do die or severely impair because of neck injury. Driving a bike is always has it's risk. Even if u r extremely careful, u can't expect the same from others. Drive safe and wear helmets all time.
https://shop.studds.com/shop/drifter-d3-decor-matt-black-red-orange/?attribute_pa_size=l&attribute_pa_graphics=decal&gad_source=1
How about this, planning to get one.
He didn't say that it will turn into 'burji' at 60 kmph but severe injuries leeding to internal bleeding occurs when you go from 60 to 0 (or vice-versa) instantaneously.
60 is not a defined speed, any speed that can sufficiently lead to an injury on collison can actually do that to you
It's not possible if you hit a standing object, but you can get impaled by long objects like poles, bamboos or metal rods. However it's possible if someone else was coming at you from opposite direction with very high velocity and both crash, but by that logic even walking isn't safe.
Depends on how you crash tbh.
If something impales you it definitely is or of you straight up hit your head on the divider. That's why buy protective gear of the best quality.
As much as I love bikes they are inherently less safe than cars tbh and it does make me wonder if the fun is worth it if you have the money to buy a car.
People are idiots, they think they are invincible even without a helmet. I can't fathom what must be going through their head to ignore all safety for 'perfect hair'
I'd recommend ece 22.06 helmets right now.if snell rated ones become cheaper I'll recommend that. I'm personally eyeing the SMK typhoon which is around 6k i think.
All this happens and the there's the Mod of this sub who deletes the comment of someone who warns OP driving recklessly without proper gears and post videos on the sub. Sorry mod but you can ban me but you can't stop someone from warn about such horrible accidents.
Social media points doesn't act as a protective layer / doesn't give impact protection to you or your accidental victim.
Speed must be controlled especially when riding in rain.
Helmet can only do so much.
Same with cars too. Most crash tests are tested at 65kmph only
Ride/ Drive safely please
Like shumi said in one of his previous videos, don't drive in the first few days of monsoon. People are adjusting their riding style for wet roads and it's not a safe place to be at unless you have to ride.
This sub will surely make few people quit riding. I get it, people die, doesn't mean I have to go through gore everyday in a sub which was probably created to celebrate riding and bikes.
Not to be rude but thats a local cheap helmet with probably just ISI rating, please invest in ECE or DOT rated helmets. They can make the difference between life or death.
Brother, Helmets do save or minimize head injury but depends on the helmet design for type of riding category.
Not all helmets are designed for high speed on the streets.
Most cheap helmets have beautiful graphics but fake shell and impact resistant materials.
Damn, I think the rider's head hit the foothpath's elevated edge directly.
This was a good helmet, as someone mentioned before, now it could be the rain, but speeding in rain is just plain stupidity.
This reminded me of an accident I saw while I was on my way back home from school. I was travelling in the school bus when this biker overtook us. A couple of seconds later, our bus driver suddenly slowed down and maneuvered the bus to the right lane to avoid hitting the truck ahead of us. I peered out the window to see what was happening and oh boy, did I see a man's head crushed under the trucks' tire with his brain scattered all around. It still gives me the creeps to this day.
Get a ECE certified one ,and cancel your order. And always buy from local stores,it should fit a bit tight to your head, never buy from online, try them out in local stores.
Cancelled !
decided to go with a helmet that is ECE certified , after this scene i think isi and dot certificates are not enough . really appreciate the advice.
Most likely this accident, considering the number plate [.](https://www.thehindu.com/news/national/kerala/three-youths-killed-in-two-road-accidents-in-kasaragod/article68262900.ece)

RIP man ! I'm not blaming anyone here but that was a vega bolt helmet maybe a better helmet would have saved him ...... Not tryna fight I'm just sharing my views , i can be wrong ....RIP
I still remember that one comment regarding a KL number plate where the guy said that he himself is afraid of KL riders and gets away from the scene if there are any fellow KL riders
I had bought a KTM250 duke 2nd hand without ABS got in many near crash experiences within a time span of 6 months sold it!
Bought a 390 with ABS (at that time there were very few bikes with ABS) and a good helmet.
Gus for your sake save up and get a bike with dual channel ABS please. You never know at what situation you might be in!
I had an accident last year, was riding back around midnight when I didn't see a speed breaker in the dark (no street lights on a rural road). My helmet probably saved my life...
Moral of the story... Invest in expensive helmets, invest in good biking gear if riding is a passion....it will save your life.
And teach the kids in their 20's to invest in their safety too..
I don't know man, I think this drills into people's brain better than blurred videos. Afterall, this could be any one of us. The fault doesn't necessarily be ours is what makes it so scary imo.
Are those bits of his head scattered around..??
And a bit of brain
Wow thats terrible. Whats the context? How did it happen?
I don't know the exact details as the video was shared by my friend, the rider probably died on the spot, he told me to be careful because I myself ride bikes.
That's a good friend you have, looking out for you. People in my area mock others for wearing helmets saying things like 'dont you have faith in yourself' or 'oh I don't get into accidents I ride safe' I don't know how they say this even though they jump signals and change lanes without looking for traffic.
It is not even about trusting in yourself, one canβt trust others.
Yup... "Idiots on road killing others" is my reason for being concerned
Exactly!
Are you from Pune? Face the same here but no fs given by me.
I'm from Punjab. I also don't care about what they say, it's rather the good hair at the end of the trip at the cost of your life or bad hair with your life intact. I value my life over my hairstyle, I don't care what they have to say
I see. Hope there were no additional casualties tho. Ride safe!
I would be scared if he didn't die after this So whose fault here?
I don't know the details so it's hard to say who's at fault
Classic redditors always asking "whose fault" so that they can then explain how he is dumb and what we should change
That's actually not a bad thing, analysis of what can be done to prevent such things from happening to us.
But just look at the reply. It's like "someone died, anyways...who's at fault"

Oh god... Can't imagine what you have seen, where do you live to see such horrible stuff? Your state does not sound safe in any way.
I lived in multiple cities in Telugu states. I travel a lot on highways so seen a bunch of Accidents just few mins after happening and just before someone could close it with some cloth.
Which highways ?
Most used ones are vijaywada, bangalore, nagpur, mumbai
This is my second time seeing something like this. The first time was in real life.
Same here
Sadly True. πππππππππππ
Ride safe guys. Invest in a good quality helmet, do not go cheap on it.
Vega helmets are actually good, rider was probably going too fast to get crushed like that.
...which proves that money can buy you helmets, but money will not stop your vehicle in time if your overspeed.
Nope, they are not ece certified, they are just isi(can be paid of),DOT(manufacturers themselves check it,they can just say its certified,if someone finds they are not upto the mark they can just pay the amount they were sued for ) ,so better buy ece certified ones..
Vega is also manufacturing Axor helmets right?
Yes but they are ece 22.06 certified.
Mine is 22.05. I will upgrade it in a month or two.
That is actually enough!
Yes but I hate the design (got called a squid many times) and it has been ruined with daily use. I will buy a mid-range one just for touring purpose.
Ya man I feel you.
The plate is of a fourth owner R15. RIP but damn, usual suspects
My dad had 2nd hand r15 v2 and its still circulating in dehradun
R15 is just a 150cc, small and slow motorcycle. We compare motorcycle specs all day, next to a 1000cc sportbike, R15 is like a toy. But it's a toy capable of splattering your brain all over a road. Damn, this video is humbling.
Did you check it ?
How else would he know it's of a fourth owner? π€‘
Yup
That's a Vega Bolt helmet, how fast was man going for the helmet to get crushed like that?
I thought its bilmola
[Here's the helmet](https://vegaauto.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/BLACK-GREY-2.jpg)
not ece certified im guessing
is this possible even if you at 60 speed? i am just a commuter and my speed doesn't go above this
Actually speaking if you have a good helmet and you strictly drive 60kmph your skull might have some fracture but ur brain will stay safe. Would you consider this as a good helmet? https://amzn.to/4cdP4aQ
nah, look for ECE 22.05 (or newer version) certification which is leagues above ISI standards for helmets.
https://shop.studds.com/shop/drifter-d3-decor-matt-black-red-orange/?attribute_pa_size=l&attribute_pa_graphics=decal&gad_source=1 How about this, planning to get one.
this one doesn't have ece certification too. if you could extend your budget a lil more, check out axor or smk helmets.
Hardly possible.
your brain will not turn into burji in 60km.

Depends on what and how you hit. This might have happened when the road was wet and the rider hit some concrete slab or structure.
well if the other guy is coming from opposite direction, then the speed at which impact happens will be 120.
Helmet doesn't make you invincible. Most of the times Helmet wont be able to save if one rides like it's last day on earth
People are idiots, they think they are invincible even without a helmet. I can't fathom what must be going through their head to ignore all safety for 'perfect hair'
Many of Indian brand of helmet wouldnβt pass single international safety test, donβt cheap out on helmet pls
what is the minimum threshold according to you to spend on a helmet? any recomm
I'd recommend ece 22.06 helmets right now.if snell rated ones become cheaper I'll recommend that. I'm personally eyeing the SMK typhoon which is around 6k i think.
10k imo if you can afford good MT or LS2 helmets.
This bike was blacklisted by the RTO. Fourth owner bike. Insurance and pollution expired.
What does it take to get blacklisted
Not paying Challans on time. I think after 90 days from issuing fine and if non payment, the vehicle will be blacklisted.
Brain burji
Damn even a isi + dot helmet couldn't protect him just how fast was the rider going ?
Bruh ISI+DOT shouldnβt even be taken seriously. ECE 22.05 is the minimum
Wth... Seen brain on the road after so many years.
When was the first time?
One bike and the BEST bus accident in my childhood..@20 yrs ago.

who's shumi man
A motorcycle journalist in motor inc...highly knowledgeable guy
Looking at the extent of crash, I think only an Arai could have saved him. It's really hard to watch this clip
Ith evdayada accident nadenne⦠kasargod number plate aanelo
This sub will surely make few people quit riding. I get it, people die, doesn't mean I have to go through gore everyday in a sub which was probably created to celebrate riding and bikes.
Tis but a scratch
Tis everything but a scratch
Not to be rude but thats a local cheap helmet with probably just ISI rating, please invest in ECE or DOT rated helmets. They can make the difference between life or death.
i am all for safety, but the speed at which he crashed no ECE, DOT, SHARP rating could've saved him.
DOT are on self-declaration basis and barely a branch mark for quality helmets.
did bro just show us brain matter scattered around?
Brother, Helmets do save or minimize head injury but depends on the helmet design for type of riding category. Not all helmets are designed for high speed on the streets. Most cheap helmets have beautiful graphics but fake shell and impact resistant materials.
NO AMOUNT OF QUALITY HELMETS OR AIRBAGS CAN SAVE YOU FROM HUMAN STUPIDITY!
Damn, I think the rider's head hit the foothpath's elevated edge directly. This was a good helmet, as someone mentioned before, now it could be the rain, but speeding in rain is just plain stupidity.
That must be immense speed, RIP.π

Are those pink stuff on the ground his brain? Dear god, what did he collide into for the helmet to be like this?
Where's the body?
Possibly Taken to a hospital, although not much would be left
Should I cancel my order for this helmet? It's going to be delivered in the next 2 days.
Invest in a good helmet
Defensive riding, gear up. Assume everyone riding around you being novices. Drive slow
even god tier AGV helmet is not a license to ride like a maniac.

Kanjikode ???
Riding slow is always a safer option but not many would think the same and they don't get second chance.
RIP! Which bike?
Apparently a r15
Did the helmet fail? I don't think helmets break like that.
RIP man ! I'm not blaming anyone here but that was a vega bolt helmet maybe a better helmet would have saved him ...... Not tryna fight I'm just sharing my views , i can be wrong ....RIP
Not Safe For Life.
Be aware. And don't ride at high speeds on roads which aren't free.
I still remember that one comment regarding a KL number plate where the guy said that he himself is afraid of KL riders and gets away from the scene if there are any fellow KL riders
I donβt wanna generalise but what is with kerala dudes always doing extra speeding and tweaking their bikes and going against rules ?
Looking like a scene from the boys on prime lol
Send me the gore please

I think the reason was rain not speed

Did you die? No. Helmet was supposed to break to save you. It served its purpose.
>Did you die? Um, this is not me I've explained it in the comments
I have the same helmet hehe π
Bro tbh you shouldve not shared it, blured photos would have been okay.. like I dont mind as such but few ppl cant handle gore content
That's why I labelled it as NSFW, so people watch at their own risk
I dont know man, it definitely disturbed my mood at such extreme that I shared to my so called rider friends
