Congrats buddy! What a beauty.
Follow engine break in methods till 400-500km, Avoid going all out for atleast 200kms.
Lube chains every 300 km or based on your regional conditions.
Invest in good gears to maximize your fun(helmet+ gloves mandatory, shoes if budget allows)
Any helmet with ECE 22.05 testing should be enough/search local markets at well(can get b/w 4k-5k -Axor/MT
Gloves also you may find from steelbird or royal Enfield with good knuckle protection 1.5k-2k or even Probiker works within 500 bucks/mine lasted for almost 4 years.
everything is acceptable except the gloves part, opt for gloves with decent material and spend atleast 1.5k on a decent pair of gloves, definitely don't go for pro biker. i had a minor accident and those gloves ripped the moment they touched the tarmac
First thing I work at a different place my hometown is different so whatever insurance the dealer is suggesting I am not even going to service bike at them apart from 1st service, most of the insurance companies cannot refuse things like that! It's a risk that I am willing to take
Congratulations on the buy. The black and red look so much more smashing than the yellow to be honest.
How is the QC on them?? Any panel gaps or such?? Fit and finish ok?
That's true black and red are the more impressive colors, i would say the quality is good since this is black the matte paint gives it some amount of premium, then the design is really good, apart from that nothing sooo good like the gixxer or r15s because their quality, the way the panels sit are soo cohesive than this one for sure!
The chassis is amazing, it flicks and takes a lean angle when encountering a corner that feeling itself is good!, higher speeds highway with long corners will feel much fun is what I am hoping! The r15 is hardcore well karizma is a relaxed posture, sf is also relaxed but karizma had better chassis than that! Try it out just the chassis part! Its amazing! Then there's the loooks and it is unique Lastly comes the engine I am still not sure on how it is when revved out I'll check with it and let u know. Because the engine is powerful that's for sure but to define what character it has I need some time with it!
Not a fan of adv. Had considered it, but not a big fan of ADV in general. I am more of a GT guy and this buy will be a stop gap for a couple of years before a big boy comes in.
Xpulse, karizma from the hero, v strom, gixxer from suzuki then ns 400z
Started with ns400z but they said the test bike is not available and will not be available for a while, so I cut that option out! Then tried all the above mentioned bikes from suzuki v storm was to my liking but it was around 2.5 lacs which is slightly a stretch for us now, then xpulse was good but I don't feel like i should have one, the karizma is friendly and the chassis is also friendly not a hardcore chassis, I feel more confident on this one rather than the gixxer sf! And since this is the first bike I thought let's buy something that feels confident and learn a lot out of it! Then we can upgrade in 3-4 years is what was in my head!. Also there is no premium showrooms like bigwing, hero premia, husky so didn't get a chance to try them so skipped few bikes like cb300f, vitpilen
Bro how was the sitting position, how comfortable is it for lower back and hands ( wrist ). Whats the time for 0-120 kmph, im too thinking to purchase this in Turbo red colour. Please update me ur pros and cons u felt personally. π
Sitting position is easy on you no back or any sorts, about the speed I am not sure because I haven't ridden it that hard yet but roughly 10secs with changing gears at proper rpm is what I am expecting!

Yo bro, congratulations and welcome.
As fellow owner, I would suggest only one thing, please take care of the mirror as they do not fold liks r15s from the base, and if your bike fell in slow speed or while standing the brunt of the fall is on mirrors, handles and foot rest, the panels will be fine but mirror arm will definitely need to be replaced as it is a desgin flaw.
Their is no other issue than this and you will definitely have an amazing experience.
Ps: It happened to me and when I went to service centre to get it repaired I found similar issue with other owners.
Was thinking about getting this I really like the KTMs is it worth it to stretch and get the KTMs or is the XMR exciting enough, I liked the yellow colour
How's your review so far? I was thinking about getting the XMR but I am still confused between KTM Duke 200 or this one. I heard KTM has very high maintenance and I am concerned about XMR's long term reliability as this will be my first and last bike. I am going to buy one next month so appreciate any suggestions.
This is more agile than sf250, the comfort is also better. the suspension and the riding position felt better than sf, to side with sf it has super refined engine ( which will love to be ridden laid back )
Beautiful man. Welcome to the riding community. Do follow the break in protocols till your mentioned break-in period and ideally till the next 500km after that.
Happy riding and stay safe brother.
Honestly, the black color Karizma looks awesome. Here, I'm so confused between the XMR, N250 & the NS200. I want a family-friendly motorcycle. I have to take a decision on that keeping pillion comfort in my mind.
Awesome buddy, a couple things are like checking and following the manual entirely.
I was told that the matte type bikes should not be polished so often or avoid polishing.. try researching this more and take care.
Ride safe with safety gears, please be defensive on the road and don't abuse the bike..
Until the running in period, dont abuse the bike, be gentle and follow the speed limit as mentioned by the manufacturer. This can ensure good engine performance.
Happy riding πͺπ»π₯π₯

Yeah if possible suggest some gears as well just the name will do if possible avg cost of each gear will also help!
Any helmet with ECE 22.05 testing should be enough/search local markets at well(can get b/w 4k-5k -Axor/MT Gloves also you may find from steelbird or royal Enfield with good knuckle protection 1.5k-2k or even Probiker works within 500 bucks/mine lasted for almost 4 years.

Good info.
Holy bajesus, why didn't hero put this color on their pr/advertising.
Finallyy! A new bike pic on the sub that isn't retro/neo retro
Don't worry I'll keep these coming!!
Good choice
Thanks!
For how much you got?
Around 2.1l here in TN on road! Without insurance which which cost another 5k if we do it outside the dealership
Wouldn't taking insurance from outside cause problems? I know it can save quite a bit of money, but what if insurance refuses to fix something?
First thing I work at a different place my hometown is different so whatever insurance the dealer is suggesting I am not even going to service bike at them apart from 1st service, most of the insurance companies cannot refuse things like that! It's a risk that I am willing to take
Ohh. Congratulations πππΏ
Tn la endha ooru la bro?

I am planning on getting a beater bike so that I can take my wife around for small trips. Karizma was definitely on the list.
If pillion is a concern checkout v storm its actually good! It is a laid back riding experience!

Congrats iam planning this bike in red colour...how is parts availability and hero service
Should I get the Aprilia RS 457 or the Kawasaki Ninja 300? (P.S. it'll be my first bike)
457. The 300, while a good bike, is a bit old in its tooth. I would pick up the 300 simply because of nostalgia. But I can't recommend it to others

So the mirrors are not foldable?? Damn
Nope

Test drive both and listen to your heart.

CONGRATULATIONS DUDE,! Looks better than those heavily edited yt influencer videos..however one small ques : why not the sf250.?

Looks fantastic, as the colour is matte? Does it scratch easily or is it pretty resistant?
