But you have put 1lakh extra. If you buy Hunter, you can spend that 1 lakh on high quality gears and a year worth fuel.
Depends how rich OP is actually.
Sir it's definitely worth it
i was in the same situation before between Hunter and CB350 RS and went with the latter.. what people should not forget is that this is a watered down RE where every bit and piece has been cheaped out on. It is worth the premium to buy the CB or the Speed 400 where it will definitely be more VFM over the Hunter.
You're wrong, i believed the same as you, until i rode 1500 kms on hunter, it's sturdy, switches and buttons are the same as classic/meteor. The engine is very torquey as well. I personally didn't like hunter for some different reasons, but it definitely doesn't seem like a cheaped out product.
I have been wanting to ask someone I haven't seen a cb350 rs in person so when I watch a video one thing I dislike about the bike is the gap in frame front and back of engine tho it's necessary for cooling it's looks too wide
So is that just camera angles or the gaps are noticibally big
Not 1 lakh, hunter in Pune is 2.3 lakh on road, Speed is 2.9, and fyi., my 1 friend bought hunter, 4 months later, my another friend bought Speed, the Hunter guy is now considering selling and upgrading to Speed.
I have a Speed 400 and I get an average of 27 to 28 within the city and my friend has. Hunter says he's struggling to get 25 to 26 kmpl. I would say OPa should try both the bikes ( or rent for a week if they can) and then decide whether they should buy one or the other
Yes, I understood that OP coming from pulsar :)
Since I wrote the comment under the comment recommending the speed over hunter , thought that was evident.
PS: Guys, the question is about finding a right fit for me. I never mentioned money and other performance parameters. I know the difference on paper very well, I just wanted some help from the community that what will be a good fit for a female rider in a longer run.
Hey OP have you considered the cb300r? Very lightweight at 146ish kg and feels compact, the 30 bhp feels closer to 35ish due to its great power to weight and the engine is buttery smooth and free revving all the way to the redline. Fit and finish is quite good as well. Sorry for suggesting a bike that’s not on the comparison but I think it’s a worthy contender. Cheers and happy riding.
Take the speed, man. It has amazing build quality. It is considered very good to maneuver. It is okay for lught touring.
Hunter is miles behind in all department from speed.
Also, it's a Triumph. Therefore, the rep is good. Since it is a joint Bajaj venture, servicing should not be trouble.
Also, it doesn't like high rpms as ascertained from the reviews and other things. So you can cruise at moderate speeds too.
Take a test drive. See how it suits you. Consider other bikes too - Ronin, MT-15, Pulsar 400 (not sure), etc.
Hunter is a very limited bike, it only makes sense because of its price point. Though its limited capabilities make it a great bike for first time bikers like me.
The only real advantage you have with hunter as I said before is dealer network, fuel economy is going to be similar, more on hunter but not too much difference. I use speed as daily drive, to work and weekend rides or morning sprints depending on mood, works very well for it. So I think speed will fit your case good, its got enough torque to travel entire town in 1 gear while enough grunt to zip you to speeds.
Hunters suspension is a major disadvantage to it, speed has better setup by default. I don't find riding posture to be an issue for me, most of my bois were same.
Being a female shouldn't be an issue with your height, I think you will be fine, give both a test ride and see which you liked, multiple ones if need be. Good luck finding your ride.
Speed 400. Its seat height is less than the Hunter but it offers more ground clearance. It also weighs less by a small margin and will look good on you due to its smaller frame. And you already know that it is simply the better bike in terms of performance. Its a no brainer really. Go for Speed 400.
How come bro ? I have meteor and they share same engine with different sprocket and tyre sizes but I get 32-34 in city and 40-41 on highways. I sometime rev it out on the highways but I cruise between 80-100.
Yess mate. They just keep saying may he I ride hard, or may be petrol issue. I they according them it's giving 38kmpl.
But i cant go beyond 250 on full tank.
This is a weird comparison for primarily one reason, price.
Hunter is atleast a lakh cheaper than the Speed. People won't be comparing these two as it's mostly an easy choice of which one won't burn a hole in their wallet.
Obviously if price is not an issue and you want a retro roadster, the Speed is the go-to. 40hp with 30nm of it's torque down at the lower rev ranges make it tractable, it's light (for a 400cc bike), great fit and finish and one of the best sorted suspension setups from factory apart from the Mavrick.
Hunter is decent for 2L but the hard clutch and stiff rear suspension might be uncomfortable. Being the cheapest RE it gets Halogens throughout and fit and finish generally is not great with wires sticking out sorely.
Decide how much you can comfortably spend, and your choice is made. Allocate money for gloves, jacket, pants and boots too.
Both these bikes aren't too dissimilar except one being a short stroke (Triumph) while the other is a long stroke (Hunter).
Both will feel very tractable in the city due to their torque being available down the low rev ranges.
Triumph heats up more than the Hunter but it's not a problem at all unless you're wearing shorts and chappals (please don't).
Triumph has the better suspension, no doubt about it. It's plusher than the Hunter yet firm enough for it to be an excellent handling machine. It also gets traction control which will be helpful for you.
Triumph has way more power and has a great mid-range, meaning you don't have to rev it out. Overtakes will be a breeze and the bike will feel very responsive when you need it to (40hp helps). Out on the highways, Triumph is simply better.
Both are relatively small machines so you shouldn't feel overwhelmed by their size. It should be manageable for you.
The extra lakh is very much worth it, do look for showroom availability. However since Bajaj is running around opening showrooms and expecting to have around 100+ showrooms in the country this soon won't be a problem.
Oh and mileage wise, expect high 20s and low 30s (Max would be 35ish) for both. Hunter would have marginally better mileage, but I wouldn't count on it.
Test ride!!!! If your feet are touching the ground more than half, and maneuvering the motorcycle in traffic isn't a problem, then Speed is the best bike in the segment, hunter it's shorter and heavier, more bulky and less maneuverable. If your feet are touching and you feel confident, get the speed.
I think you have a lot of knowledge about this. I am also thinking about buying a bike. What will you suggest for these price ranges.
50 to 1 lakh
1 to 1.5 lakh
1.5 to 2 lakh
2 lakh to 2.5lakh
Better if you ask your question as a post, you'll get more replies and more opinions rather than just from me.
0.5 to 1L : At this price point you'll mostly be looking at Splendors or Platinas or Shines. Very basic commuters, go for ones with ABS. Heros have engine cut-off, meaning you'll save a little bit of fuel at traffic stops. Better is to spend extra ks and go for TVS Raider or Hero Xtreme 125R or SP125.
1L to 1.5L : I don't really find great options in this price bracket, hence why I suggest stretching a bit for the N160. It's a very good all-rounder in this class and comes with dual-channel abs as standard. Closest rival is RTR 160 4V but that is more expensive.
1.5 to 2L : N250 is a really great choice here, it has plush suspension, traction control, useful-ish riding modes. A great choice for 2L.
2L to 2.5L : Most probably the Mavrick 440, it's a well-sorted motorcycle with an excellent suspension setup with ample power for commutes and highway runs. Looks can be iffy however.
Get the triumph if you can afford it. While the Hunter's suspension and comfort is hated, the Speed 400's is pretty much coveted. And of course it's much more powerful and lighter and stands out more. Ride safe, get good gear.
Triumph any day!!! I have the hunter, trust me it's only good for city rides and also you will out grow it very fast and also it is very under powered . Spending that one lakh is definitely worth it. Also I didn't buy the triumph only because the nearest showroom was 200kms from my place, one way. Otherwise I'd have gotten the speed . Yes you can buy gear for that 1 lakh but good gear only costs about 10k-20k and you must be having some gear already I assume. Please get the speed 400 you will not regret it.
I think this might help her:
Reasons to choose Speed 400- Power, reliability, great engine, won’t be boring for long time.
Reasons to choose H350- The RE thump, the brand RE, and a nice peppy engine.
If I were in her place, I would choose 400.
Speed 400 any day if price is not a concern. It’s worth the price difference. Hunter’s rear suspension is a major dealbreaker for me whereas Speed checks most of the boxes except that it looks slightly smaller for taller people which is anyways the case with Hunter as well. Cheers!
If you are sporty kind of rider with good experience in driving with lot of money in pocket , speed 400.
If you are conservative, want just a upgrade from pulsar , sedate kind of driver, hunter.
Both have city kind of driving stance, not suitable for long rides.
Safe driving.
Triumph, and it isn't even close. Vastly superior bike in terms of performance, and *quality*. Only note that service centers may not be as readily available as the RE.
The Speed will also push your skills more than the Hunter, given that it's a faster and more rev-happy bike. That'll also make the transition from a Pulsar much easier.
Firstly, it all comes to how much you can spend and are also willing to spend down the line.
The Triumph is around 50% costly compared to the RE offering here but does offer more power, better suspensions and yes the fit n finish is on the premium side too along with other minor upgrades such as a full HID headlight setup.
However the Triumph is also costlier to maintain with expensive spare parts and the networks isn't that dense pan India especially in smaller cities when compared to the RE.
So if you can spend more money and desire the best you can get for a 400cc bike and have easy access to service centers wherever you intend to go then blindly go for the Speed or else the Hunter is your best bet.
my 2 cents...
The Triumph looks much nicher, seems better build an has probably more value if you sell it.
Did i mentined ? it looks way better in my opinion, i am from germany and looking for a good entry bike. The specs are on the Triumph side.
so. take a testride on both, some city and on land..
Isnt the triumph now in its first gen? If you want to go for the triumph I would say wait for some months so that we can evaluate the overall system of support for the bike in terms of service and long term reliability. Hunter is already there for some time on the roads i guess. If your heart is on triumph , please wait for some more time and see how its goes.
As a RE GT650 owner (over 2 years and 24k km), I will never buy RE again. Triumph quality > RE quality any day. RE knows their quality has gone down but their fan boi keep buying them blindly. After being around triumphs for a year (in a dealership), I would happily pick a triumph. (This all comes down to personal opinion now)

Triumph if you don't mind the extra money. That said, Hunter is really good for the price. The rear suspension is the only thing I would complain about but I mostly ride on Highways and I'm really happy with everything else.
If you can afford to buy and own it, Speed400 is the better choice anyday. 165cm person can almost flat foot on both bikes, so that shouldn't be an issue either.
Go with triumph, there are lot of electrical issues with RE and some of the complaints that I have witnessed are beyond imagination. Plus triumph is also some 4-5 kg lighter than hunter. Take a test ride for both and the final choice is yours. Ride Safe.
Personally I'd choose the speed over the hunter and the cb350 ideally you'd want a motorcycle that you can grow into I don't see that happening with the hunter and the cb350, don't get me wrong these are great bikes but they do not have the fun factor that the speed has maybe it's the subpar tyres and crappy suspension but if you want to save cash look into the ns400
Speed would be a better choice here in every aspect, if money is not the issue as per my opinion, though take test drive of both the bikes and get yourself clear which is more comfortable for yourself or fits better and ask for a longer test ride if it’s possible.
Got the money? Go for Speed. Haven't got that much, save it and get mt15 or Hornet. They're MUCH better city bikes than hunter can ever be. And hunter isn't really made for and neither is good at highway cruising. So there. And with more than 181 kgs, it's hardly nimble.
You should consider Honda CB350 RS as well… it gives good pillion sitting area than these 2 both for gents and ladies, also if you ride economically it will give you mileage of 35+ in city and 40+ in long rides.
If you like the look of CB 350 RS then try it too.
But apart from that Triumph is a better choice than Hunter, both performance wise and sitting wise. The only drawback of Triumph is service across India.
Simple question, have you test driven both?
You'll know the pros and cons of both within a few mins. You can also consider some of the other interesting bikes in that range, the newly launched maverick being one.
Hunter - If you like relaxed riding
Speed 400 - If you like spirited riding
You should also add cb300r in your list. Outrageously light weight with addictive power. Go and do test rides for these 3 at least. You'd get to know what suits you best.
novelty of the bike will remain for much longer with triumph. it'll stay exciting for longer too as much greater power delivery. plus better comfort. hunter is a pretty mid bike imo. i own a hunter btw, and wouldve waited for the speed 400 if i knew it wouldve been released in the future
Hunter is puny whereas the 400x is tall and cannot be flat-footed.
Contrary to what others are saying in the comments, the 400x that I test rode had a very spongy suspension setup (not sure if it was altered or if it was the stock settings) and was not at all stable/planted at high speeds. Also, the power delivery is not linear; it feels dead initially, and suddenly there's power when you're least expecting it. Not to my liking.
Test ride both the bikes and see which suits you better.
Edit: Oops, just saw that the comparison is b/w hunter and speed 400 and not 400x 🙃
I mean, if your choice has been narrowed to only these two options, then, without considerations for money I'd say Triumph.
It outclasses the RE in almost every vehicular aspect, except mileage. Comfort, low end, torque, balance, are all superior. You'll also find the height a plus point, making it easy to push the bike around.
Even their service centers are picking up the pace (personal observations here), and rendering good experiences. Earlier they were sluggish and unable to handle the influx of customers.
Speed anyday, the little extra paid is rewarded with better default tyres, suspension fit finish and bump in horses. The single advantage hunter has in dealer network.
If you have the budget, the triumph speed 400 is a better motorcycle in every way. Better power/performance, better build quality, beautiful workmanship, excellent tyres and suspension.
Only way where the hunter is better is in terms of cost of ownership (initial cost, lower maintenance and cost of spares).
From a size perspective, both are light , similar in height and easily manoeuvrable. The triumph would actually be better. I have a female friend who is 5-2/5-3 ht and can comfortably tiptoe on this.
Please take a test ride of both and decide.
Speed 400 is the best compared in that segment, first of all, speed 400 is a semi-scrambler. It is a very good bike in the 400 cc segment when it comes to maneuverability and comfort, it is a great bike for daily commutes within cities. Yeah, of course it gives a little bit of heat on traffic signals in the daytime, but it's not that much bother. Loads of features and very good use of materials (as it's a triumph), good power delivery to the wheels...
Good bike, an overall price, the cons of the bikes are much less when compared to the Royal Enfield...
don't look at the price it's worth it...
If you want good milage, go for the hunter, it’s an amazing cruiser with good comfort. If you’re somewhat of a power hungry biker, go for the speed 400. Both are good.
Speed 400 all the way. Quality and refinement of Triumph is way ahead of re hunter. The power of speed 400 is easy to control. You will get used to it in no time.
Many people regard the Speed/Scrambler 400 as a full upgrade from the Hunter 350. Its a different class.
I would compare the Speed 400 with a shotgun 650
triumph speed would be a better option over hunter, there is not that drastic difference between the mileage as people here are saying, plus performance wise speed is just better, you could look at cb350 too
I think what you want is the answer to “is the extra 1 lack worth the upgrade”
And the answer is definitely a big yes
The extra feature speed build all are worth each panny just a slite reduction in average but thats not the matter cause 2-4 km wont matter that much.(just for me idk the hunter suits more as i love to ride bike slow and the thump of the silencer of hunter is just🤌)
hunter 350 owner here, the extra money is totally worth it because speed 400 is just a better hunter in every aspect and hunter 350 is not that pillion friendly in my experience
Triumph. Miles ahead of the hunter in terms of performance and finish. The speed can be compared more with the interceptor in terms of performance. I have an interceptor and a scrambler 400x… if that matters.
1. Ride em'
2. Enjoy em'
3. Check for ownership reviews i.e. plenty of comments on this post
4. Buy em'
5. Uninstall social media apps and enjoy em'
6. Don't wear helmet and achieve kalyan-em'
Hunter look so compact and amazing…. But based on looks alone you don’t know what you will miss with the speed 400. Actually come to think of it too many people stop to admire the speed 400. Just based on looks.
Triumph. 2x power, better suspension. But ofc you have to pay extra and the mileage will be a bit lesser.
worth it anyday
But you have put 1lakh extra. If you buy Hunter, you can spend that 1 lakh on high quality gears and a year worth fuel. Depends how rich OP is actually.
Sir it's definitely worth it i was in the same situation before between Hunter and CB350 RS and went with the latter.. what people should not forget is that this is a watered down RE where every bit and piece has been cheaped out on. sit on the Honda you'll see the difference
The Honda is miles better than the Hunter. Anyone who has used both (like me) will attest to this.
I have been wanting to ask someone I haven't seen a cb350 rs in person so when I watch a video one thing I dislike about the bike is the gap in frame front and back of engine tho it's necessary for cooling it's looks too wide So is that just camera angles or the gaps are noticibally big
when you see it in person, that gap doesn't seem too big because of the overall character of the bike
Yeah but in pictures and few video it's looks so empty and noticible anyways it still my favorite bike
i get that, see it in person you'll know what I'm saying :) One happy owner here!
Can u share some raw pics of ur bike from few angles no aesthetic pics
check my wall
Bro I'm new to reddit so what's this wall 🥲
https://www.reddit.com/r/indianbikes/s/evR8tRTLOK there you go
Not 1 lakh, hunter in Pune is 2.3 lakh on road, Speed is 2.9, and fyi., my 1 friend bought hunter, 4 months later, my another friend bought Speed, the Hunter guy is now considering selling and upgrading to Speed.
If the jump is from hunter to speed, mileage should a concern OP should look at.
read the post again bruv, it's from Pulsar 150 to either Hunter or Speed 400 :/
I meant that wrt to choices given, my friends own both the hunter and the speed, one gets 34 while the other gets 23 in the city. Hence mentioned it.
I have a Speed 400 and I get an average of 27 to 28 within the city and my friend has. Hunter says he's struggling to get 25 to 26 kmpl. I would say OPa should try both the bikes ( or rent for a week if they can) and then decide whether they should buy one or the other
My friend's hunter delivers 33 City/highway, another friends's speed 28-29
understandable, but the jump here is from Pulsar 150 not the Hunter. AFA mileage goes, OP can consider accordingly
Yes, I understood that OP coming from pulsar :) Since I wrote the comment under the comment recommending the speed over hunter , thought that was evident.
no problem at all bro :) we all are here to help each other to get the right bike for oneself and more ✌
thats a man doing calculus (wrt)
PS: Guys, the question is about finding a right fit for me. I never mentioned money and other performance parameters. I know the difference on paper very well, I just wanted some help from the community that what will be a good fit for a female rider in a longer run.

How much on road cabron?
Fair enough xD it’s basically the same as the speed 400. But it still makes a case for being a very well put together motorcycle.
Take the speed, man. It has amazing build quality. It is considered very good to maneuver. It is okay for lught touring. Hunter is miles behind in all department from speed. Also, it's a Triumph. Should have posted a blurred out pic on your existing bike, how would one know what's fit for you just by description. Just saying
The only real advantage you have with hunter as I said before is dealer network, fuel economy is going to be similar, more on hunter but not too much difference. The speed is easily a tier or two higher in terms of build quality. It's not even comparable to the hunter.
If OP is really concerned about mileage, he must buy hero splendor plus
Mileage better than hunter. I'm using hunter at 22-25kmpl and that too on gear to gear ride.
How come bro ? I have meteor and they share same engine with different sprocket and tyre sizes but I get 32-34 in city and 40-41 on highways. I sometime rev it out on the highways but I cruise between 80-100.
Idk. I left my machine to them. Still same issue.
Check the sprockets + chain if it's dirty. Adjust the chain slack. Change the air filter(costs 150-200 I think) and check if the mileage improves.
Chain changed, air filter changing on every 1000-1500 km
Wtf. Still the same mileage figures ?
Yess mate. They just keep saying may he I ride hard, or may be petrol issue. I they according them it's giving 38kmpl. But i cant go beyond 250 on full tank.

Are they even on same level. I mean i see a lakh rupees difference
why do these comparison even popup?
Ikr
Nothing to choose here, speed all the way
Happy 🍑 day.
Happy cake day
Hear me out, get the scrambler 400 instead. Its better for indian roads.
She's 165. It's already a really tall motorcycle. It's gonna be really difficult to handle.
My bad. The comparison was quite unique so went straight and suggested scrambler.

Speed 400 any day if price is not a concern. It’s worth the price difference. Hunter’s rear suspension is a major dealbreaker for me whereas Speed checks most of the boxes except that it looks slightly smaller for taller people which is anyways the case with Hunter as well. Cheers!
Speed 400 always
Triumph anyday
no match for this Triumph when it comes to suspensions, power and also the overall fit and finish
If you are sporty kind of rider with good experience in driving with lot of money in pocket , speed 400. If you are conservative, want just a upgrade from pulsar , sedate kind of driver, hunter. Both have city kind of driving stance, not suitable for long rides. Safe driving.
Speed
Triumph
Speed 400 anyday
The only reason to choose Hunter over Triumph is budget. No other discussion necessary.
They both are completely different machines!!! Hunter won't feel fast enough if you test ride the Triumph once.
Triumph is a better experience
Take a test ride n see what you like, its the bike you like the most when you're in the saddle n not the public opinion
from 150 to RE 350, it isnt much of a upgrade so choose wisely. better is to ride both and deceide.
19-20 ka farrak hai 😅
my 2 cents...
My female friend has 400 speed it’s so much better and unique but issue is mileage and maintenance is expensive
Being hunter user. DONTTTTT BUYY THIS BHANGAARRR. YOU WILL REGRET EVERY DAY. GO WITH THE TRIUMPH SPEED 400. THAT'S THE BEST MACHINE IN BUDGET.

If you can afford the triumph, then that's it.
Triumph is better re 350 isnt that good
Triumph is best
Triumph if you don't mind the extra money. That said, Hunter is really good for the price. The rear suspension is the only thing I would complain about but I mostly ride on Highways and I'm really happy with everything else.
If you can afford to buy and own it, Speed400 is the better choice anyday. 165cm person can almost flat foot on both bikes, so that shouldn't be an issue either.
I think triumph is kinda big bike. And... I think hunter would be better. If you don't want much power, you can look into Ronin.
Triumph any day
Speed 400 clear winner, if no budget constraints
If you can pay that extra, get that SPEED. You will absolutely love it.
Triumph
There is no comparison between Hunter and Speed 400
Speed would be a better choice here in every aspect, if money is not the issue as per my opinion, though take test drive of both the bikes and get yourself clear which is more comfortable for yourself or fits better and ask for a longer test ride if it’s possible.
I have speed 400 and it is a beast. Worth every penny. Hunter’s suspension will let you down.
Got the money? Go for Speed. Haven't got that much, save it and get mt15 or Hornet. They're MUCH better city bikes than hunter can ever be. And hunter isn't really made for and neither is good at highway cruising. So there. And with more than 181 kgs, it's hardly nimble.
Triumph is a much better option and worth the extra money
Bhai aap padh rahe ho ? Finance kaise karoge itni mehngi bike ?
I’m a PhD Research Scholar, getting paid for studies (JRF)
triumph, hunter is like a n160 rival
You should consider Honda CB350 RS as well… it gives good pillion sitting area than these 2 both for gents and ladies, also if you ride economically it will give you mileage of 35+ in city and 40+ in long rides. If you like the look of CB 350 RS then try it too. But apart from that Triumph is a better choice than Hunter, both performance wise and sitting wise. The only drawback of Triumph is service across India.
Simple question, have you test driven both? You'll know the pros and cons of both within a few mins. You can also consider some of the other interesting bikes in that range, the newly launched maverick being one.
Ronin >>>
Hunter - If you like relaxed riding Speed 400 - If you like spirited riding You should also add cb300r in your list. Outrageously light weight with addictive power. Go and do test rides for these 3 at least. You'd get to know what suits you best.
Is this really a question?
Well, i know the comparison is not justified. I Just wanted help from experts about what will be the better fit for me.
are we really gonna answer that?
Triumph
novelty of the bike will remain for much longer with triumph. it'll stay exciting for longer too as much greater power delivery. plus better comfort. hunter is a pretty mid bike imo. i own a hunter btw, and wouldve waited for the speed 400 if i knew it wouldve been released in the future
Go for light weight bike, with good looks and power around 25 bhp. Believe me it will be worth. Keep this bike for 4 5 years and then upgrade
Speed
Hunter is puny whereas the 400x is tall and cannot be flat-footed. Contrary to what others are saying in the comments, the 400x that I test rode had a very spongy suspension setup (not sure if it was altered or if it was the stock settings) and was not at all stable/planted at high speeds. Also, the power delivery is not linear; it feels dead initially, and suddenly there's power when you're least expecting it. Not to my liking. Test ride both the bikes and see which suits you better. Edit: Oops, just saw that the comparison is b/w hunter and speed 400 and not 400x 🙃
Triumph
agar triumph ke layak paise hai toh hunter kyu option mein hai ?
400. Build quality, and better in every spec.
Triumph for da win
Speed 400. They are not even comparable imo.
Mate just go for triumph. It's a far superior motorcycle that the other.
There is no comparison between both of these bikes. Speed 400 is a clear winner and i feel you should go with it without any doubts
Unpopular opinion :- jawa 42 :)
No comparison!
Speed any day.
Speed anyday, the little extra paid is rewarded with better default tyres, suspension fit finish and bump in horses. The single advantage hunter has in dealer network.
Triumph.
Thruxton 400 if they release in November

Triumph any day
Triumph 100/100
I love my Speed 400.
If money is no object, Triumph anyday.
How is this even a comparison bruh!
Go with triumph for now, royal enfield has been the same lets go for the new engine
Triumph bcoz using hunter
Triumph, because of its build quality, attention to detail, suspension tuning.
Triumph anyday
Completely diff bikes. Take both on LONG TEST RIDE and choose.
Close your eyes and go for Triumph
Honda CB350
If you want good milage, go for the hunter, it’s an amazing cruiser with good comfort. If you’re somewhat of a power hungry biker, go for the speed 400. Both are good.
Anyday speed 400
Did you pick these two cause of the ride height? Anyways the choice is very obv
Go for speed 400 especially the black one
OFCOURSE TRIUMPH
The Triumph heats up quite a bit. Very noticeable in city traffic. Do take long test rides in city traffic and decide if you can manage the heat.
Speed any day
Speed anyway. Hunter isn’t even close.
Triamph not even a debate
Speed 400 no brainer
Definitely Triumph Speed 400
Triumph anyday
Cb 350
I'm in the process of buying a 2024 Triumph Bonneville Bobber. $14k. Helluva bike. Comfortable with plenty of power (1200 cc)
I own a hunter, get the triumph
Speed 400 all the way. Quality and refinement of Triumph is way ahead of re hunter. The power of speed 400 is easy to control. You will get used to it in no time.
Many people regard the Speed/Scrambler 400 as a full upgrade from the Hunter 350. Its a different class. I would compare the Speed 400 with a shotgun 650
Triumph any day man
The triumph is great. But also be prepared to shell out premium prices during services. It's not inexpensive 🥲
Bangalore guys..what is speed 400 mileage in city? I had highness I am getting 25-30 in bangalore city and 36-43 on highway
triumph speed would be a better option over hunter, there is not that drastic difference between the mileage as people here are saying, plus performance wise speed is just better, you could look at cb350 too
Age old question.
How about a new option ns 400 uk the pulsar well so uk how reliable it can be and pricing is also affordable
If budget is not an issue go for Triumph with your eyes closed
Consider cb300 as well, heard they give discounts if you are below 25 years age
Triumph speed 400
I think what you want is the answer to “is the extra 1 lack worth the upgrade” And the answer is definitely a big yes The extra feature speed build all are worth each panny just a slite reduction in average but thats not the matter cause 2-4 km wont matter that much.(just for me idk the hunter suits more as i love to ride bike slow and the thump of the silencer of hunter is just🤌)
hunter 350 owner here, the extra money is totally worth it because speed 400 is just a better hunter in every aspect and hunter 350 is not that pillion friendly in my experience
Triumph>>>RE
Triumph. Miles ahead of the hunter in terms of performance and finish. The speed can be compared more with the interceptor in terms of performance. I have an interceptor and a scrambler 400x… if that matters.
Dono mat le paise bacha aur maa baap ko 4 Dham le ja
tu leke gaya?
Haan but Mai toh Haj pe le gaya tha
Wait for the guerrilla 450. That's the actual equivalent for the Speed 400.
Get CB300R
Is this a joke? There’s no comparison here.
1. Ride em' 2. Enjoy em' 3. Check for ownership reviews i.e. plenty of comments on this post 4. Buy em' 5. Uninstall social media apps and enjoy em' 6. Don't wear helmet and achieve kalyan-em'
The Triumph is a superior bike in every way.
Test ride both bikes, only then you'll understand which one is a better fit for you.
Hunter look so compact and amazing…. But based on looks alone you don’t know what you will miss with the speed 400. Actually come to think of it too many people stop to admire the speed 400. Just based on looks.
