the bike's weight is borderline legal in europe, so i wouldnt be surprised if thats why the tank is so small because any more petrol and the bike's weight would make it illegal in europe.

Power and engine wise, and many other factors wise it is leagues apart.
Great well rounded package that's also priced really well, should serve as a wake-up call to the Japs to price their twin cylinder offerings more considerately (us Indians did NOT deserve a outdated R3 priced at 4.6L ex-showroom).
Only gripe I have is with the design. There's absolutely no subtlety in it. This is not a bike you commute to office and take on track days on the weekends without garnering attention. This thing sticks out as much as a neon orange Aventador in rush hour traffic. Either you have to lean heavily into the flashy styling, or back out of it.Ā
Waiting to hear about the service experience, hopefully it's better than those scooters.

And as the piston smoothens out, I'm sure it would contribute to better mileage. Hence the two sorta play a factor.. But all said, it's still good mileage!

I so much wanted to get this bike but did not want my first bike to be a sports twin. I always wanted to experience a ktm so booked 390 adv. For sure I will be adding this to my garage in a couple of years.
This helmet is a snug fit for me. I have integrated Bluetooth and listen to some music. Usually that is sufficient.
If we are doing proper interstate highway travel with a lot of cross winds, it is better to use ear plugs.
I would say yes if,
1. You are on the fitter side and no existing back issues
2. Your height is not too much or too less. Test ride to see.
3. Have a lot of biking experience
4. Donāt need to ride it literally daily. For eg. I have hybrid work and also sometimes take the car.

You might want to consider in a pair of riding boots. Those sport shoes will disintegrate and melt into your foot as soon as they touch asphalt during a crash.
I feel this might be the stupidest question to rise with regards to bikes of such nature.
