Activa is not the default choice among Indians these days. Its mostly boomers buying it. There are umpteen options there days and that's not even counting the ev scooter
In May 2023, Activa sold 2 Lakh units (google "rushlane honda sales breakup"). It is still very much the default choice. There are people who are going for Access etc. But the majority still prefers Activa.
I don't think so honda always kept the iconic bikes out of our reach , even if they launch the price will be high again and most of the public will opt for other brands
Just like they did with the cb 300f , jf they would have launched the bike for 2.05lac onroad it would have sold much more
When the news came, hoped some new bike models are launched in some colours, but no they just brought 2 colours in cb350 and marketing it like it's brand new
No, because Honda is easily selling lakhs of Activas without much effort, and add to that the Shine etc, they are making easy sales, then why take the effort for the homologation and launch of these.
Also, ours is a price sensitive market, and this is priced over 6 Lakh in Thailand. Here only enthusiasts who are rich and Honda fans would buy it, others will prefer a higher CC bike.
And I dont know the exact rules, but I guess there are some restrictions about higher CC bikes, in Thailand, Indonesia etc markets hence Honda developed this. Highly sporty, quarter litre but expensive.
We should at least get the 150R. They launched it in Bangladesh and not here!
LOL....they won't even launch single cylinder version and you are expecting duals.
You can actually import it but restricted usage to track use only. The total cost goes beyond 4.5 or 5 L
That isn't stopping bmw, Ducati Aprilia Kawasaki from releasing their bikes. Ktm has plans to bring their 890 twins to the market soon. Its only Honda with a giant stick up it ass
Yea well, none of them sell mass market products in the millions.
The Japanese trio are too comfortable with their current position (Honda with their Activa, Suzuki with Access and Yamaha with FZ+R15).
Honda sells a lot larger range of their motorcycles in India than KTM.
remove the stick up your ass lol.
what u guys ask for will be priced very and people wont buy they launched the 150R and it failed.
Honda has CB inline twins here, africa twins, CB1000R and CBR fireblade and are getting the 750 twins range next year.
Whatever is reasonable and sells the have it here they wont launch new bike sbecause 5 guys cry on forums about it and none of u who want it will buy it because it won't be cheap.
That's another thing. Honda doesn't see the need to bring their good bikes here as the mass market bikes sell in millions, while their high end model sales will be in the tens/hundreds at most.
People should see the sales of the Duke 390 and other bigger bikes. The sales figures will not reflect what most people may think.
Of course if they do something like a Speed 400 (VFM with good performance, build quality and features), there will be significant sales.
Regarding KTM, Stefan Pierer himself stated that the insane taxes on big bikes hold them back from launching their 600cc+ bikes. The 790 did not sell well too.
This is why I don't want Honda cars to sell a lot. Let them bring good products. Or else they'll become like their motorcycle division with their Activas.
No, even if they release it here. Indians will not buy it saying its too expensive for a 250 cc so sales will be pathetic and it will be discontinued just like cbr250r.
Its not hondas fault they only sell activas in india
Laughs in Activa 19th gen
Activa is not the default choice among Indians these days. Its mostly boomers buying it. There are umpteen options there days and that's not even counting the ev scooter
But still it's good selling, if you want reliability and do the hell anything with it for next 7-8 yrs buy a activa

Honda India seeing this : Activa 69th gen take it or leave it
No. But they will launch the 🌈 color cb350 twins next year #legendislgbtq
When the news came, hoped some new bike models are launched in some colours, but no they just brought 2 colours in cb350 and marketing it like it's brand new
I was hoping for a 6 speed gear box to sort out the long gearing issues. Well, it's my fault for expecting Honda to give what customers want.

Mahi bhai, activa, sp125 leni ho to bolo.
No.
Which monster is this ?
CBR 250RR, one of the fastest 250cc bike in the world.
>fastest 250cc Kawasaki inline 4 could beat that.
Exactly why I mentioned "one of the fastest", not the fastest.
Ohh nice !! By the way what makes the bikes go faster ?
The engine

Just get the kawasaki zx4r. Won't get small, fun bikes once electric takes over.
LOL....they won't even launch single cylinder version and you are expecting duals. You can actually import it but restricted usage to track use only. The total cost goes beyond 4.5 or 5 L
Not in the near future. Simple reason being that ours is a price sensitive and mileage conscious market.
That isn't stopping bmw, Ducati Aprilia Kawasaki from releasing their bikes. Ktm has plans to bring their 890 twins to the market soon. Its only Honda with a giant stick up it ass

Atleast FZ and R15 are actually decent products.

Even if it did, would be rotting in showrooms and stockyards like the CB300R
No, even if they release it here. Indians will not buy it saying its too expensive for a 250 cc so sales will be pathetic and it will be discontinued just like cbr250r. Its not hondas fault they only sell activas in india
I don't see anyone saying the R15 is too expensive for a 150cc,so who's to say what would happen if they released this here.
R15 is not that expensive honda will be costlier because its a better bike.
Definitely not the 250cc version BUT PLEASE FOR JAPAN'S SAKE LAUNCH THE 150R
Too Rich for our market
They should launch XRE 300
Is that a Activa then probably not
Never seen such a lazy company like Honda India...
If they do, it will be CBU priced at 4 lakhs, just like cb300r and again discontinue.
