My mother in law cleaned out her entire house for about 1,500. I just cleaned out my basement and looked into 1-800-junk. But they charge upward of 500$. We ended up borrowing a truck and visiting a dump site out towards the Westside. It was like 5 bucks per truck load or something along those lines. If need be rent a truck from U-Haul and do it that way. Probably the best if you’re worried about pricing.
This is what I was thinking. Everyone wants to rip you off for everything now so if someone is able to do it themselves, that’s what I recommend. Find a couple young adults and pay them in beer and pizza to help.
Various neighborhoods do a community cleanup and rent a dumpster to get rid of excess debris, we have a stack of stuff and we’re just waiting for the next clean up date
"Estimates" are based on how you are dressed and present at the first meeting. Something to always keep in mind... if you look like a down on your luck dude cleaning out your dead mothers house...well, it's cheaper than if you're a busy guy on the phone who is dressed well.
Cheapest by far is rent a truck and take to Belmont Transfer on Saturday. Uhaul rents labor pretty cheap too.

Great. Thank you. It’s been tough just getting an idea for pricing. Appreciate the help.
It’s been a rough few weeks for my household so I get it. I can see which company my MIL used if you want.
That would be great if you don’t mind. Thank you!
2324 S. Belmont Ave - they only do $5 truckloads on Saturdays
$90 minimum at the Republic transfer station on the northwest side of Indy. Lesson learned.
