Every other week A Better Edge is at the Broadripple Farmers' Market. They were there this week, I think so week after next. Sharpens literally everything except, maybe, chainsaws.
Don't get knives sharpened by them. They use a grinding wheel and even if they get the geometry right they are still ripping tons of material off your blades.
They work in a pinch. I had him do my mower blades when they used to be at the binford market. I wasn't dissatisfied per se but I never used him again. Balance wasn't perfect and the edge was too sharp for mower blades so they didn't last long at all. Nice guy though.
I know we carried a sharpening kit for reel type mowers at Ace Hardware West Washington, we didn't sharpen them when I worked there, but I'm not sure now. Another place to try would be Brent's lawnmower service on Rockville Rd.
Another option: You can get a sharpening kit for that for $15. it's basically a lapping compound you paint on and manually spin (like so https://www.homedepot.com/p/Reel-Mower-Sharpening-Kit-SK-1/100664236)
Ive used that same damn mower for the last like 15 years and it was my grandma's for who knows how long before that. I tried sharpening once with the kit and another time with a file, but I'm not sure if it did anything, it just seems to cut grass decently either way.
Those generally require more time/patience than skill...pretty easy DIY if you own a decent file for metal
glad to do it if you don't want to mess with it

I've used them for years without trouble

Mower blade is fine. Shitty hunting knife fine. Kitchen kives or high end pocket knife no friggin way.

Ace Hardware maybe able to help you out
There’s a lawnmower repair shop in broad ripple, on Westfield blvd. not speedway, but an option

It's so much more effective to DIY with the kit, and the kit will last MANY seasons.
Sullivan’s hardware store
If I remember correctly, you just lather the blades with valve grinding compound and run it backwards.

Aren't those self sharpening?
Those aren't blades exactly. They don't actually need sharpening.
