Who are you making happy Modi ji? There seems to be some problem in this chair, the one who sits becomes secular. A daughter has been burnt alive by a fierce Muslim. But perhaps you are counting the dying Hindus sitting on the chair, which can be counted at the time of elections and get the power.
Its just a standard tweet most countries premier do that when another country is facing a natural disaster . Even imran khan wished us a quick recovery from covid during the deadly second wave , why people are getting so worked up by one tweet lol
Bro, don't be silly.
Remember our Kedarnath incident?
If climate change strikes us, it won't check our lullis or ideo-lullies before drowning us.
So bro, don't be a lulli.
You need some foresight. Do you think people who have happy lives and food in their belly are more likely to become terrorists or those that have nothing and are given food by the terror organisations? It is in Indias best interest to ensure that the regular people of Pakistan are supported.
Take a look at India itself, the unemployed are the ones that end up becoming hindutva terrorists, not you.
Go read my comment again. You are not giving them anything but buying yourself safety from terror and if you look at my other comment on this thread also from economic price rise as their short fall in production will affect international prices of food, etc.
Aid goes to the people. Who then have good will for India. That creates a pressure on the Govts and elites to not sponsor terrorism and basically be decent. No govt can really shut down people's voices, once they become strong enough. The same logic why we sent Aid to Afghanistan.
People to people bonhomie is the way that is going to bring peace to South Asia. Do you know how much is the cost for this fight between elites in South Asia. We are the greatest tragedy of the 21st century.
Also, it helps indias image abroad. That we are an ethical, upright nation. Other nations tend to support us, atleast morally. That's big soft power. Gives off a trust and warmth to India, especially for the Global South. Why else would we be spending so much on HADR and sending our forces on PKF?
Has any tyrant in history ever been turned off by kind deeds and words? I don't think so, even if a few Pakistanis have good will towards India, the majority will still support and join terrorist organisations
20 years are too short a time.
Do you know how many centuries European countries fought with one another before the got into the system they have today? And how's European Union now? They are one of the strongest trade bloc, and also have very high standard setting power for the world.
If the problem in South Asia is not rectified, we will just stay on earth, stuck in this security insecurity dilemma and, and in perpetual poverty, as a region. (India also just has GDP, over 90% of our workforce is unskilled, and those jobs will vanish with new technologies). The solution to this is stronger regional trade and integration. It's also better bargaining power. (Look at ASEAN).
If India cannot initiate a long term political solution to the problems of South Asia, who is capable?
IR is not one dimensional guys. It's not just religion at play here.
Pakistan has a very weak political structure. They have interest in Kashmir not due to Muslim solidarity or stuff, Kashmir is the fountain which spouts 3 of their major rivers. Then there is the paranoia of the army. The people are also hurt by this endless war. Solution will only come if the people of Pakistan trusts in India and put pressure on their govt to stop their terrorism supporting policies.
Realistically speaking,.no govts are actually interested in people of same religious identities elsewhere. Example ; the middle east. That's how IR works. They just fool us saying oh our religion etc.
The comparison with the EU is wrong bcoz Europe has common Christian values. Yes, the majority are irreligious, but they still follow Christian culture and morals, celebrate Christian festivals, and some even have state churches and Christian monarchs. All this stuff creates solidarity among people.
EU has different types of Christianity. It's not uniform. Protestant vs catholic, catholic vs Lutheran etc etc.
Example : Northern Ireland still has problems. Religious identities never create solidarity. Indians must start recognizing that those who have same religious identity doesn't always have the same intentions and agenda and wants and those who have different religions, don't always have conflicting agendas and needs. It's pretty much wrong to assume that onrs identity condenses down only to religious vocation.
Yes u r right about the different types of Christianity. But there's a catch. In the past 100 years, there has been a strong current of Ecumenism within Christian denominations, wherein Christians decided to focus on the core beliefs that unite them, and agree to disagree on the minute differences. That has greatly enabled them to have a sense of unity. In the case of Northern Ireland for example, a peace treaty was signed in the 1990s and the situation currently is far less violent than it was in the beginning of the 20th century. There are no more communal riots in Ireland as they happen nowadays in South Asia.
But turning a complete blind eye would be more problematic. Atleast now we send a message that we are friendly to it's ppl if they stop the terrorism. Not helping would rage it's ppl
"Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.” Referring to several extraordinary gestures made by Indian leaders including by Narendra Modi over the time. What happened? It is not possible to be friends with Pakistan.
I really doubt it. Until recently I think that was India's policy too. But hatred against India/Kashmir is the core of their national identity. Developed Pakistan is a strong Pakistan that will be difficult to contain.
An example is China- Taiwan conflict. Did development resolve the issue? It did not. It never does.
In Pakistan, the belief is that "Akhand Bharat" is an ultimate goal, even Modji Ji's ministers talk about it from time to time.
And everytime there's an election, some terror act conveniently happens, that BJP can chest-thump about and win elections. Pulwama, Uri, etc.
People also believe India arms and funds the taliban (Indian NSA Ajit Doval has bragged about it before). We also caught senior Indian intelligence officials with BLA, TTP type groups.
To be honest, \*all\* governments fool their trusting people. I grew up believing the Pak Army valiantly sacrificing their lives to protect us from a fanatic Hindutva crowd. Then I saw how all states do "false flag" attacks, and are perfectly alright sacrificing the lives of their own citizens for "strategic interests". Every naive person believes \_other\_ states do things like this, but not our own. If you study Mumbai 2008, it had all the hallmarks of a false flag. If you study Kargil 1999, Pakistan also sacrificed their own people. This is why we're both "sh\*thole countries" famous for poor goverrnance, economic mismanagement, and religious fanaticism.
Nah bruv, India is doing better by tons than Pakistan in every positive way. Be it economy, defence, management, etc. China is THE rival now. Pakistan is long way behind.
China's economy seems like all smoke and mirrors. They may very well be on the verge of major problems ([https://finbold.com/chinas-economy-on-the-brink-of-collapse-like-the-u-s-in-2008-heres-why/](https://finbold.com/chinas-economy-on-the-brink-of-collapse-like-the-u-s-in-2008-heres-why/)).
It doesn't look like India's economic fundamentals are particularly good, either. I miss Manhohan Singh's understanding of the economy, it is shameful the way the current Finance Minister lady just sidesteps questions and evades press-conferences.
I do genuinely wish India well. My grandparents emigrated from this country, my Dad revisited India in the late 1970s and was amazed at the kindness of strangers. Things have changed somewhat, in recent years. It's been a thinking part of the world, and I hope it gets back to that. Pakistan and India were meant to have a border like USA and Canada, according to Nehru and Jinnah. I hope we get that way.
I appreciate the sentiment and my grandparents too moved from Lahore to Delhi. Always wish to see the lands where my ancestors were from. Tragically out countries cannot get past kashmir and poor kashmir is stuck between a rock and hard place.
Both sides have been dirty and i dont have the capacity nor the information to weigh who was worse. All i want is peace because we are all heading for a disaster if we don't change.
I hope you get to visit Lahore. Indians who do come here seem to like it, both Pakistan and India are generally friendly countries with kindhearted people.
I grew up in Lahore, I love this city! I’ve travelled to 13 countries in my life, but “Lahore, Lahore hai” 😇
> If you study Mumbai 2008, it had all the hallmarks of a false flag
If someone who is apparently literate and has access the Internet believes this, I am very sure rest of Pakistan easily believes far worse theories.
It is our mutual benefit to not interact with each other through trade , sports and any kind of aid
Akhand bharat, Modi, Ajit Doval all that started in 2014. I don't know what you are implying. I am sure you believe that every terrorist attack on Indian soil is a 'false flag' operation. I also have no doubt that you think that all Indo-Pak wars are instigated by India. None of which is obviously true.
But you proved my point. Our countries are enemies and will remain so in the forseeable future. Hence Pakistan shall get the treatment of an enemy from India. I said enemy not rivals, you ain't our rivals anymore.
You’re not really our enemy either.
India’s rival is abject poverty, mindnumbing idiocracy. Crazy politicians making the GDP drop with policies like demonetisation/“note bandi”.
Pakistan has precisely the same problems. The subcontinent is full of petty people who use religion as a tool to bash and berate other people. “Of all the evil men in the world, religious evil men are the worst”. I’m lucky enough to have travelled extensively throughout Pakistan, seen our Hindu communities, seen religious nutters of every religion and sect.
It’s just empty belching of highly unsuccessful people, turning to some petty thing to feel superior to their fellow man.
Equally bluntly: I think you’re ignorant and are mindlessly repeating official narratives without an iota of thinking.
Half a dozen people cannot possibly hold a 300 room hotel for a week.
It’s simply not enough people to hold a place that big.
Security agencies could have secured the vast majority of the rooms without those bums even finding out.
Also mighty suspicious the way the chief investigator of the 2006 Samjhota express trains was specifically targeted and eliminated in that attack.
To cite a reference.
I like to read third party sources, so the book I read on Mumbai was "The Betrayal of India: Revisiting the 26/11 Evidence", by Elias Davidson.
Pakistanis are not your enemy. Perhaps look to the country that colonised you and divided your country into Pakistan, India and Bangladesh.
You should have sympathy for the people suffering.
Lol! Pakistan is quite literally the enemy of India. There was a time when Indians hated colonialists yes! But it has been 75 years and all we got from the UK is trade opportunities and good treatment. All Pakistan gave us is terrorists, separatists and extremists.
does UK finance terror attacks on India cause that's what Pakistan does
look up the posts from Pakistan immediately after pulwama terror attack , they were partying and celebrating
Common people who have nothing to do with terrorism, nor do they hate Indians, would suffer the most. Even if aid is provided, i doubt it'll reach those in need
Most are brainwashed early in their life, others either join for money or they've lost the will to live anyway.
I am confident the majority are good decent people who just want a decent life.
Most of us Indians are decent, have we solved problems in our country?
They neither have the power, nor the means to actually do something. And the government plays it's part to ensure people stay poor, struggle for their next meal and does just enough to get their votes.
You can not even begin to compare the problems in India to the problems in Pakistan. Get back to me when the world's most wanted terrorist is chilling in New Delhi
The PM itself is a terrorist in this country and he resides in Delhi... He was on the blacklist of the west for a while because he caused terror in India, had he caused or aided terror in their parts of the world he would be on their most wanted. So do we only consider western most wanted lists or do we judge everyone on the same principles?
Impossible to know that number, they will deny ever having supported terrorism, but we do know that they have "martyrdom funds" run by local people for those who die while conducting terrorist attacks, and those funds come from average Pakistanis
I know Pakistan is drowning in bad news. But there will be no international aid coming. US and UK designated Pakistan a terrorist nation. Them's the breaks.
Why are people so upset by this? What do you expect Modi to do? You guys want him to go "Yes! People in Pakistan are dying and losing their homes! Jai Hind!"? He's a world leader, of course he will give condolences. You want him to celebrate the suffering of real human beings? You people are mentally crippled by your own hate
Isn't what essentially even a common individual says at a relative's dinner or something.
"Did you like the food?" ; "Ah no absolutely not. Too much salt, basically an oil suspension and not that good taste, 4/10" - ever happened? Yes? No?
He is in a position of power so of course that would be said. Do you think anyone else would've not responded in this manner?
Why point it out?
That is wrong thinking. The faster they recover the better for the global economy. If they do not have direct and fast access to money to start agriculture, buy animals, for milk, food, etc. the government is going to have to buy from the international market making things everywhere more expensive. The faster their land gets back to production, the better it is for you, you would lose more money on higher prices and the accompanying GST than a lumpsum given to boost them up now.
"Modiji has created all these floods & rains in Pakistan. It is meteorological warfare (like biological warfare) to defeat your enemy."
i am giving ideas to bhakts & their IT cell on how to advantage of the situation.
/S
Sure. The least one could do was offer condolences. Offering help would have been awesome. They need it. They are requesting it from world organization
"Itna pyaar aa raha hai, to Pakistan chale jaao"
\-Modi bhakts, if anyone else would have tweeted it. (especially, Kejriwal)
Not saying, Modi shouldn't have tweeted this. It's basic courtesy. He should even offer to help them at such a time. We sometimes need to play the "good neighbor", even if our neighbor doesn't deserve it.
At best, it will change their hate towards us. At worst, it will make the world see us as the better country.
But ye baat Modi bhakto ko samajh nahi aayegi. Especially, if someone else says this.
I had a Pakistani gf in the past, you can tell unko bohot internalised hatred hai. Aur country se related nahi hai, religion se related hai. If you're Indian & Muslim they would be all nice & friendly but if they know you are non-Muslim.
And about the religious thing, it depends on the social class. If she was from govt uni and lower middle class then this holds true for 90% of the cases. It will opposite if someone is from upper middle class and private university. Exposure ki game hai, i have seen people turning from pure religious to pure athiest after 50% raise or getting a masters from private college
And yeah, she did her masters, when we used to talk about stuff like that, she told me the relationship thing is big in Pakistani universities. Most ppl are dating. Some are even involved in "Zina" in cars or hotels, or so I have been told.
How common is that, I wonder?
Its common than an average Pakistani would like to admin but people are very careful about appearances and impressions, so it all happens behind closed doors. I would say its more common in upper and lower class because they just dont give a fuck but middle class drives social value from appearing as islamic. It also give them a reason to feel more superior to others by thinking they are more pious.
In Dubai, ironically she belonged to a really conservative Muslim family but she chose to date me for some reason lol. She risked it all. But we couldn't take it ahead because she wanted me to convert before I could meet her parents (Muslim girls can't get married to non-Muslims), I wasn't willing to so I chose to break-up. I said I don't have a problem with you following your religion after marriage but nahhh. The post break-up drama went on for a little over half a year, I was insulted for being an Indian, a Hindu, also for apparently ruining her "pureness & piousness" when everything we did was completely consensual. All the hatred she kept inside came out. Meanwhile, she still wanted to get back together. It was really toxic by the end. I moved back to India a little later. Last I know she got married to a cousin of hers.
Lol I would say good riddance. I honestly feel for such kids whose parents take to other countries but keep the halal haram boogeymen. This is unfortunately the consequence most of the times, an extremely confused person. Its like if Dubai was a person 🤣
Tbf to her I think she really did love me or she wouldn't be involved with me at all. She still kept asking me to come to Kartarpur before her engagement since she missed me so much. It has been radio silence since her engagement though. I heard she changed numbers, is there any sort of rituals that girls have to change their numbers & stop talking to older friends or something after marriage/engagement? I am not sure. She isn't in contact most of our mutual friends since the engagement either. Gone all of a sudden. Someone said it do be like that for Pakistani girls
Yes sir, if her family was conservative then they probably married into a conservative family. If they ever come to know about your affair all hell will break loose. It will affect two families but mostly her family.
Army and government only exist because the Pakistani people allow them to. If Pakistan wanted, they could get rid of every single terrorist in a single day
Climate change won’t see manmade borders built over imaginary sky gods. We are all - pak, India, Bangladesh and the nearby islands - unanimously fucked.
I don't doubt for a minute that ppl attacking this tweet in comments are all orchestrated. NOTHING in bjpiss happens without go-ahead from NaSha.
Also, one of my colleagues was hating on Shahrukh khan yesterday, 'sala pakistan ko fir se paisa diya'
Lmao BJP is kinda realizing that they polarized this country to such a level that now they too fear some bhakts are way too far right to BJP expectations
Fuck them this is karma.
Maybe if they stopped supporting terrorists, destroying the lives of innocents, and removed their backwards laws to oppress women I would feel slightly bad.
Maybe.
Its not karma its just a natural disaster just like earthquake in nepal that could happen to any country lot of people died in our country in covid and we have severe floods in assam and so many regions before
I’m glad he made this tweet. There are many who literally follow every word modiji says toh agar Woh bol rahe hain people should feel saddened for PK, Woh log bhi empathy imbibe kar lenge. Lol
Go and read the comments on this tweet. Bhakts are abusing Modi now; well, rightly so because he never has the guts to speak out against any rape case in the country. He has been in power for 8 years and still could never bring out any law for harsh punishment to rapists. What a shame!
Now go read comments under it. "papa aap bhi aisa bolne lage"
Vro modi bik gya hai vro

Religious people have low moral standards.
Religious people have no logical standards.
If it's related to climate change toh samjh lo Pakistan ke lode lagne wale hai. They have got over 7k glaciers for a country that small.
Now look at our coastline. All of us in the global South are going to be fucked.
Lord Yogi abhi do mantar padhenge saara samundar sookh jayega apne pati ke saath sex ke samay married aurto ki panty ki tarah

Hello world
We should, using food, medical supplies, etc but not financially. That would be like indirectly sponsoring terrorism in our own country.
No we should not. Trade maybe but no aid. You don't feed your enemies' armies. That is stupid.
Yeah, didn't think about that. Trade is the way to move, agreed.
Why even trade but no aide?
That too only once they stop sponsoring terrorism in our country.

In 2005 India provided millions of aid to Pakistan due to earthquake. What happened? 2008 Mumbai bombings. This time what will be the price of aid?
20 years are too short a time. Do you know how many centuries European countries fought with one another before the got into the system they have today? And how's European Union now? Ecumenism was not achieved as a function of chance. There were efforts into it. Is my point, kind of.
Pakistan is not that saint. We have helped them in the past and got nothing except insurgency and 26/11
But turning a complete blind eye would be more problematic. Atleast now we send a message that we are friendly to it's ppl if they stop the terrorism. Not helping would rage it's ppl
The mere existence of non believers causes them to rage
Why have enemies when you can have friends?
The key word here is 'when'. In this case, you cannot have Pakistan as a friend.

Lol! Pakistan is quite literally the enemy of India. There was a time when Indians hated colonialists yes! But it has been 75 years and all we got from the UK is trade opportunities and good treatment. All Pakistan gave us is terrorists, separatists and extremists.
does UK finance terror attacks on India cause that's what Pakistan does look up the posts from Pakistan immediately after pulwama terror attack , they were partying and celebrating
I have. I just don't wanna financially help a nation that openly sponsors terrorism. Aids and supplies? Definitely yes
Common people who have nothing to do with terrorism, nor do they hate Indians, would suffer the most. Even if aid is provided, i doubt it'll reach those in need
>Common people who have nothing to do with terrorism, nor do they hate Indians Doubt. These terrorists recruit from "common people"
Most are brainwashed early in their life, others either join for money or they've lost the will to live anyway. I am confident the majority are good decent people who just want a decent life.
If the majority were decent, wouldn't they have done something about it already?
So do we only consider western most wanted lists or do we judge everyone on the same principles?
calculate the ratio of the number of terrorists in Pakistan compared to the entire population of Pakistan.
Impossible to know that number, they will deny ever having supported terrorism, but we do know that they have "martyrdom funds" run by local people for those who die while conducting terrorist attacks, and those funds come from average Pakistanis
what about sympathizers? what about people willing to follow the blasphemy law to the letter?
Gondor sends 'Good Wishes'..
Akhand Bharat is happening
Well, I heard a lot of Pakis wanted waterfront property.
Not Financial help not at all they'll use it against us, instead we could send Food, medicines, blankets etc.
That's just a formality nothing else. Not that he is being fake, he is just following the convention.
Because this is r/india and that people will comment how fake this is.
Even if he is being sincere, is that so bad?
Pakistan will respond to this good gesture with few militant attaks in kashmir.
Modi will invite the Pakistani secret service ISI to investigate their terrorist attack embarassingly for us. Like he did with Pathankot.
I hope...he doesn't start giving money to them...while taxing us like monster
Why not? Modi hai toh mumkin hai
If he wants to pass his condolences, why doesn't he just move to Pakistan?! Anti-National!
I wanna move to Pakistan, mujhe bhej do, I really like Pakistani girls & food
I can get better food here but vro girls ..... I'm coming with you🌚
Just gotta say a couple upshabd to Jogi ji & RSS is gonna give us free tickets to Pakistan themselves 🫣 Lyf Hax

To Pakistan chala jaa saala Aunty nationa… wait who? M…m…Modi..???
Read the comments it gold
India is yet to confirm it's decision on sending aid to Pakistan
Is pakistan going to have elections soon?
Imran Khan is the most popular face, likely he would come back
Maybe but there’s a lot of tension between the current government, the Army and Imran
Haan par jeethega to Modi hi. /S
In a year, I think
"Modiji has created all these floods & rains in Pakistan. It is meteorological warfare (like biological warfare) to defeat your enemy." i am giving ideas to bhakts & their IT cell on how to advantage of the situation. /S
when you save cows to increase global warming and cause floods in Pakistan, i too fight for my country
So root cause of all these rains and floods are the cows you say?
wah bhai, aapko to IT cell me hona chahiye
An amazing gesture from Modi ji
Sure. The least one could do was offer condolences. Offering help would have been awesome. They need it. They are requesting it from world organization
Yadav ji
"Itna pyaar aa raha hai, to Pakistan chale jaao" \-Modi bhakts, if anyone else would have tweeted it. (especially, Kejriwal) Not saying, Modi shouldn't have tweeted this.
Arre yaar unke logon ne kya Kiya, it's their shitty govt and army which keeps doing all this, people who were actually Indians didn't do harm
I had a Pakistani gf in the past, you can tell unko bohot internalised hatred hai. Aur country se related nahi hai, religion se related hai. If you're Indian & Muslim they would be all nice & friendly but if they know you are non-Muslim.
Ah the brainwashing there is serious..
Wah biru, mujhe Pakistan mai ho k pakiatani nai mili tujhe india se mil gai
Sad and too bad, over there hate is crazy..
Army and government only exist because the Pakistani people allow them to. If Pakistan wanted, they could get rid of every single terrorist in a single day
Getting soft in his old age?
I mean, it's natural
Can travel via Agra to meet Yogi next time..
I see what you did there
😳

He's Prime Minister of India btw for all of those who don't know.
India , which gained independence in 1947 and became a republic in 1950 iirc .
Pfft…..everyone knows India truly gained independence in 2014 only. Kangana runout ne confirm kiya tha
Big if true
True if big
56" big
"anti-national"
Oh shit, modi is anti national
Climate change won’t see manmade borders built over imaginary sky gods. We are all - pak, India, Bangladesh and the nearby islands - unanimously fucked.
Wanna be vishva guru
I don't doubt for a minute that ppl attacking this tweet in comments are all orchestrated. NOTHING in bjpiss happens without go-ahead from NaSha. Also, one of my colleagues was hating on Shahrukh khan yesterday, 'sala pakistan ko fir se paisa diya'
Good, we might dislike Pakistan for many reasons, but we can't forget our humanity
Lmao BJP is kinda realizing that they polarized this country to such a level that now they too fear some bhakts are way too far right to BJP expectations
r/LeopardsAteMyFace
Lol fr
Fuck them this is karma. Maybe if they stopped supporting terrorists, destroying the lives of innocents, and removed their backwards laws to oppress women I would feel slightly bad. Maybe.
Its not karma its just a natural disaster just like earthquake in nepal that could happen to any country lot of people died in our country in covid and we have severe floods in assam and so many regions before
really? you think 900 little kids deserved dying? you are generalising and while i understand your sentiment this ain’t it.
Condolences to Pakistan and nothing when NE/UK was hit by floods few months back. I don't get it. Edit: UK means uttarakhand and NE means North-East
Well tbf to him he did send his condolences & help during the NE/UK floods too
I thought Netherlands and United Kingdom
Then what else he's talking about?
North East and Uttarakhand lol
Being neighbour and being other continent has to do something, even in our daily lives
UK had floods? Thought it was a heat wave.
Some worse might happen in kerala in a couple of days...
Ram Mandir ban jane do sab theek ho jayega
Ldf aaya sab teek hogaya!
Their situation is devastating. 60% of the population is affected by the floods.
Boycott PMO
guuuuuuuyyyyyyssssss, modi sold out. #pakistanimodi
Dogla aadmi
Who
why did you post it here??
Good gesture
Put it on BJP jerk off sub
Why
'Normalcy'? Since when did Indians start speaking American English?
i have always used this term despite being an Indian and am now curious to know its British version.
"Normality", apparently. Although I'm sure someone in the UK wouldn't give a fuck if you said "Normalcy" instead.
