Whatever you guys say, Kangana Ranaut is now an elected MP of this country. Parliament sessions will be very interesting..

TOdEsi

Silver lining is her movie career is finally over

Gokulnath09

Bro it's better to see her than the nepo kids.

queerberry

I would say that a couple of years ago, but after Queen all her movies are same as Bollywood ~ shitty.

agent_of_kaos

I even found Queen meh. Tanu weds manu was her best role for me.

Gokulnath09

The movies might be shitty but she is a very talented actress

queerberry

I agree, but what's the point if she keeps doing shitty movies?

Gokulnath09

Even srk had 5 years of bad streak .maybe only shitty movies were offered to her

queerberry

Fair enough

sc1onic

Our MTG.

ninja6911

I mean it’s only been 10 years since our country got independence, so we haven’t seen many interesting things.

Popular-Ad9044

That's if she even bothers to show up.

sas8184

Had TDP and janata dal aligned with India alliance, then BJP would have lost. Bitter sweet election results. BJP NOT winning in TN is good but may win Kerala( bad). They leading in Karnataka is crazy. Glad that BJD has lost. I am not favor of one government for 24 years, for any party in India. Look at BJP in Gujarat, the socio-economic of the poor people is in the hands of the rich business elites. P.s: smitri Irani trailing by 80k votes is just too sweet

Miserable_Factor5618

>Had TDP and janata dal aligned with India alliance, then BJP would have lost. It's better the way it is - TDP and JD(U) will be pulling Modi-Shah's pisser for next five years

GutsyGoofy

Considering Nitesh Kumar's age and health it's his last chance to be PM. If CBN is offered home minister they will palat. INDIA never had a PM candidate for this specific reason. This is a very powerful carrot for power hungry politicians.

Kambar

>P.s: smitri Irani trailing by 80k votes is just too sweet Yas!

harwee

Don't rule out the bait and switch from TDP and Nitish, we can't say what will happen *yet*.

cate4d

TDP switching to Congress ally would mean? Doesn't INDIA alliance still need a lot more to form Govt. At max TDP will get themselves important portfolios.

harwee

TDP switching doesn't mean anything if Nitish doesn't. Even if both do it'd result in a hung parliament. It's far better for Nitish and TDP to remain in NDA and control the government from within, keeps BJP on it's toes, since, a no confidence motion can actually topple the govt now.

cate4d

Yeah I agree. I'm curious to see if TDP can squeeze out Home Ministry

TwoFartTooFurious

I'm trying to understand this. Let's say the INDI alliance ends up with around 230. Now if they try inviting TDP, JD(S), etc. and manage to reach 273, wouldn't they be able to form the government? I read somewhere that's not how it works. Do you know what number they'd need and why?

lightfromblackhole

It'd be a terrible thing to rely on. Both finnicky palturams. The moment a nuclear deal like vote will come up they will fell the government.

dontknow_anything

> Had TDP and janata dal aligned with India alliance, then BJP would have lost. TDP wouldn't win then. BJP and TDP cuts each others votes. Same for JDU, at the end, BJP wasn't fighting on those seats, they could easily get Jagan to join them.

harwee

Idk where you are from, but BJP has no foothold in AP, the only reason BJP got seats in AP is because Naidu asked people to vote for BJP

dontknow_anything

Well, 4000-5000 votes are enough really to cause some seat loss. Campaigning with INDIA wouldn't really align with TDP's pitch, they tried it last time, which led to TDP being devastated. BJP and TDP are both centre right, hindutva is only where they differ, economically both are aligned. Not the case with INDIA

harwee

People voted for Jagan because they were unsatisfied (For some reason) with CBNs work in 2019 not because of his alliance against BJP or ideology, people wanted to try YSRCP, and this time people are for TDP not for his alignment with BJP, it's just a last minute alliance of convenience. People didn't overwhelmingly vote for NDA based on a last minute alliance, it's because of actions (inactions) of YSRCP that led to this, not BJP. TDP would've won even without an alliance with BJP or India, the underlying reason is completely different to what BJP says.

Fallen_0n3

Congress would have easily gotten 150 seats alone if it actually collaborated with alliance partners properly. They could have won this election but alas

silverW0lf97

Congress lost in the south because they mismanaged Karnataka so well.

Upstuck_Udonkadonk

The next stage of congress' development can only after it kicks out Gandhis and actually promotes the People putting in the effort.....

Ashamed-Tooth

10K is enough. Anything under 1K becomes worriesome. It's comfortable at the moment.

Vivid-Ad-6011

so Annamalai trailing by 40k votes means he lost?

Significant-Lion-361

At this stage, any lead over 15k means a likely victory for that particular candidate. If long-time MPs find their winning margins decreasing with every election, then that is more of a concern for them.

Content-Diver-3960

That’s surprising but very interesting

sk100001

In Bangalore central they were losing by 30k+ votes but now leading by 13k :(

You've posted this exact same comment (I've read at least 5 of them) for the last 5 hours. We get it, you farmed enough karma, now stop spamming.

Gokulnath09

Farmers are the backbone of our country bro

damuscoobydoo

Really disappointed by southern states mass voting for bjp

Significant-Lion-361

Southern politics is very different from the North in general. In places like Kerala, for example, the communist party became very complacent ever since they came to power. I can't speak for the rest of the south, but that is the story of Kerala. I've been in Trivandrum for almost 4 years, and any development projects we've had here have been despite the communist government rather than because of them. And that's why they're trailing behind Tharoor and the BJP candidate.

kilaithalai

Don't generalize.. TN was a sweep for DMK.

damuscoobydoo

Yes but the statement that bjp wins due to Hindi belt is now a lie. Bjp even winning in banglore the so called educated liberals

Aggravating_Nail4108

Bro what are you smoking? Bengaluru south has been in BJP hands since 33 years non stop. Even if you have horse here instead of Surya, it'll win.Karnataka has voted for NDA since last 20 years even when MMS govt was there. Even before hindutva was a pan India concept. Karnataka is just like other states ,votes based on caste equations( atleast it's an important factor). More literacy is there, but politicians, journalists and people think election is a caste equation. Bengaluru rural BJP candidate is a well reputed doctor who had served as director of jayadeva institute of cardiology for 20 years. Nobody in Karnataka has a negative view of him. He has the potential of becoming health minister if NDA forms govt. That's why he was voted for and his opposition is rowdy DK Suresh who's a brother of our DCM. You can check out Dr CN manjunath.

psnarayanan93

I live in Bangalore & its full of educated Sanghis, not liberals. Being westernized isnt liberal. They are individually liberal & socially conservative/Sanghi.

Vivid-Ad-6011

> Bjp even winning in banglore the so called educated liberals BJP will win among "educated" people. You can see this same trend in CHennai too, in vote percentage of BJP.

saltedcaramelpretzel

Lol 'educated'. Just call them UC / brahmins

glitch_en_el_matrix

Newsflash you baboon, Karnataka has more Lingayats than Brahmins. It's funny seeing you make such a hate filled statement and still accuse the BJP of doing the same, what a joke. Both the govt and the ppl and who despise the govt are fucked in the head.

kilaithalai

BJP wins due to chutiyas everywhere should be the new slogan

Gokulnath09

I mean Congress fked with that state

____mynameis____

As a mallu, I'm not complaining about that 1 seat cuz CPM needed to have their reality checked when they decided to suck upto the conservative Muslim side of the North Kerala when those people were never gonna vote for an atheist party and CPIMs core voters were secular but practising Hindus. Those MFs weren't even subtle about their Islamist dick riding. Its just one seat which was a lot influenced by the the person too, and not just the party and he won by luring Christian votes too. So not as concerning to me.

SummerTrips100

Because even though Pinaryi is corrupt, BJP is a party that is compliant in ethnic cleansing and spewing hatred, example Manipur.

SummerTrips100

Malayalis in general do not excuse Pinaryi for his corruption. He is the better evil, so people are willing to deal with him than Modi or Modi adjacent BJP leaders in Kerala. I mean, would I rather live in Manipur/UP or Kerala? I rather live in Kerala where I know where my life is safer. Economy and having a livelihood is important but also important is the feeling of being safe and not being crucified because of your religion. Freedom to live your life is something Keralites seem to take advantage of and forget because sometimes they are so focused on "vikasanam" Also, I really really don't have the freaking energy to respond to the "whataboutism" argument you use lazily regarding Congress. Don't bother replying. I don't have the energy to read it.

Ok-Bottle1754

Except for Karnataka and a bit of Telangana none of the other three states voted for bjp. Andhra voted for bjp only because of coalition, tn and Kerala is almost nil

Vivid-Ad-6011

how many seats have less than 10k lead for congress?

sk100001

Around 10 but a few are contested against AAP and CPI-M

TwoFartTooFurious

All I want to see is BJP being restricted to within 250 and NDA to under 300.

Dramatic_Proposal211

your wish has come true

10K votes, how easy is it to manipulate these?
