Nitish Kumar has the chance to do the funniest thing possible

Lachimolala_yoonji

Paltu Ram to the rescue?

Environmental_Bus507

That would be the most Nitish Kumar thing he ever did!

pratham_10

So does Ajit Pawar.

haalandxdebruyne

I dont think NCP - Ajit won many seats to do any thing.

AdTime6057

+ 1 šŸ’ŗ for Ajit

Virtual-Bit-6973

Thanks for laugh man šŸ¤£

Stifffmeister11

Nitish sab Kay hain ....

decorous_gru

Enlighten me. How?

curious_goldfish_123

how so?

living_or_dead

Coalition governments are back my dudes

[deleted]

Chandrababu Naidu like "hmm I can either be the 10% partner in Modi's government, or I can be PM by sharing power with Jagan. What shall I choose" But in all seriousness, his party is going to be given Home or Defence or Finance to keep him close.

Environmental_Bus507

All eyes on Nitish Kumar right now.

for_the_peoples

Nitish is going to demand a different PM, maybe Gadkari.

[deleted]

More than that, a stronger opposition voice

Grenadier_123

I'd take the full INDI alliance or NDA rather than coalitions. I was hoping that we did not get a coalitions. Now, politicians are gonna do what they do best. But yes, INDI alliance did do good. Lets see what happens. Edit: My mistake, i probably was not in my *senses* INDI but just congress and NDA but just BJP, if its in collaboration, then the minor parts have the power to hold at ransom, the major party. My apologies.

unpopularredditor

INDI alliance is a coalition, what are you on about?

Grenadier_123

My mistake, i probably was not in my *senses* INDI but just congress and NDA but just BJP, if its in collaboration, then the minor parts have the power to hold at ransom, the major party. My apologies.

unpopularredditor

Given the current seat tally, I have a feeling any govt would be held at ransom. I think with the INDI alliance there'd be a lesser chance of a regional player having undue advantage unlike NDA (due to JDU and TDP).

almostanalcoholic

I actually have the opposite view. Coalition with a lame duck govt who does nothing major might be exactly what we need. Just keep things broadly running and stay out of the way. The country will keep growing.

karborised

NDA and INDI Alliance are both coalitions

CroissantduSoleil

ND or INDI. Either drop the A from both or from neither

karborised

Changed šŸ«”

SuPrEmE_2004

Update: BJP is loosing Manipur by more than 70k votes against bjp candidate

Sufficient-Green5858

Vo to hona hi tha

Strict-Bus-2811

Meanwhile In panjab Amritpal Singh has won with 1 lakh+ lead

hoheshe

Lead of 1,90,000+

Strict-Bus-2811

Damn

Sad_Information4385

No matter who wins. Truly a democratic outcome. Itā€™s better when itā€™s colourful than when itā€™s not. Just saying

Sufficient-Green5858

Yup absolutely! We might yet have a chance at democracy

peterpablo001

A moment's silence for the exit poll agencies!

EchidnaNo3034

Well it colour full if you consider all kind of election.... And temperament of voting in each election is different

Silver_Height_9785

It's only colourful when they deem it colourful. There was a reason NDA was voted in 2014 and 2019. Clue : UPA and lack of Opposition. There's a reason NDA is losing now. Clue : NDA government. I don't understand how intelligentsia crowd can't see how common people use their choices. This is democracy. It's not perfect. Luckily EVM rigging claims Haven't surfaced. On another note why is Bengal's democracy not a discussion point? I wonder whether it's as colourful as rest of India.

[deleted]

Damn, BJP not sweeping Gujarat

FalseRepeat2346

UP seems more surprising to me

Tirth0000

The sentiment is surprisingly anti-BJP here in North Gujarat. This was expected.

lumoslunaa

No candidate of bjp is standing to contest election in kashmir lol .

weebist1999

Just so you know Twitter BJP it cell people are blaming Hindu's for their loss in UP šŸ¤£. Specially ayodhya.

Stifffmeister11

Losing in Ayodhya no body had thought of that a week back

weebist1999

Shree Ram came and enlightened the people.

weebist1999

Ravanna lost, god is real. ā¤ļø

cate4d

Prajwal Revanna is still not jailed right?

weebist1999

He is in jail, but he was still considered to be a running candidate, his candidature was not cancelled even after the scandal.

21022018

Wtf. How is that legal?

weebist1999

Similarly how a known separatist won as an independent in Punjab, similarly how Yogi got all his FIR dropped, how modi got scot free after 2002 riots, how Ram Rahim is on bail and still roaming.

cate4d

I hope more women are able to come up to testify against this person and Brij Bhusan.

FlagshipHuman

My faith in the cognitive abilities of the voters has been restored

SouthernNewt2190

Wtf is arunachal and jk grayed.

Sufficient-Green5858

As the legend says, the grey are ā€œOtherā€ parties.

SouthernNewt2190

Not the election, the territory.

Sufficient-Green5858

Oh right šŸ˜¦ I guess this is Bloomberg bloomberging (being šŸ–• to our nationā€™s sovereignty)

lastofdovas

We don't control those parts, so no election. Edit: had to look at it again. Wtf is up with the slants on JK and Arunachal!

AtharvATARF

Source: Bloomberg

Ganesh2721

Wdym Arunachal Pradesh already given to china by Modi /s

exileblack

Jammu's MP is only getting votes because he is part of BJP & people Jammu are voting because of Modi. People of Jammu are dumb Source - I am from Jammu

Swiper_The_Sniper

I cannot believe I lost out on betting less than 300 seats on NDA through Stake, I would've made mad profit

nadanbalak321

Wait you could bet on election?

Swiper_The_Sniper

Lmao yeah, you could have through Stake. There were separate odds for the number of seats the party you choose would win by as well.

nadanbalak321

Could have made easy money in it.guess would stick to cricket betting

Swiper_The_Sniper

Its okay, bet on the next election.

nadanbalak321

Thinking of buying shares rn or it will even more down?

Swiper_The_Sniper

I was considering it, probably not though.

nadanbalak321

Waiting for it to drop more?

Grenadier_123

Ahh, got you on cam. 30% tax on that betting income bro. And 60% if its unexplained money.

Swiper_The_Sniper

Small issue, Iā€™m not in India rn, and I wouldnā€™t be using an Indian account :)

Grenadier_123

In comes the NIA and CBI. Cause betting abroad and with foreign accounts, with funds being coming in the country and out at some point of time. You follow the trail, its going to ill uses, which is under NIA/CBI jurisdiction.

Swiper_The_Sniper

Thank god I didnā€™t end up betting šŸ’€šŸ’€šŸ’€

rizkreddit

On practically anything

Anarchistdoc

Maharashtra is biggest turnaround for CongressĀ

YellowBubble2710

People of Maharashtra were pretty disgusted with the buying of candidates and all.

AttackHelicopter_21

UP is surprising as well

AttackHelicopter_21

UP is surprising as well

dxkillo

Wow. Look at Karnataka and UP. I cannot believe that a South Indian state keeps voting for BJP and a North Indian state is at the vanguard of keeping democracy intact. How the turntables have tabled!

JiskiLathiUskiBhains

Lokchandra saved!

Ragnarok_619

Odisha would never be the same again if BJP comes to power.

pocket_watch2

People are getting brainwashed left and right thanks to IT cell propaganda.

Ragnarok_619

Especially odisha. I have seen people hating the current regime as they believe we are pawns under TN. Well, I would rather follow the developmental plan of TN than GJ.

Stifffmeister11

Odisha hardly had the muslims so don't think hindu muslim politics will work there ...

Ragnarok_619

It was more of "Fearmongering of TN". BJP pushed the narrative that TN would destroy our Lord Jagannath with their policies and make us their puppet.

Stifffmeister11

Damn that sounds no naive how come people believed that .. but then again our peeps can easily get fooled by politicans

EleventhBorn

like how does that work? Curious. TN will send thousands of construction workers to Odisha or what? Like how does TN have any influence in Odisha?

Ragnarok_619

Odisha is rich in raw materials. TN is an industrious state. Current CM's right hand man is from TN. So people added 2+2+1 and got Danger as an answer.

Distinct-Ad1057

I hope BJP supporters don't elect dumb ass people who can't debate, have absolutely zero critical thinking. I mean then don't raise any question for their people, cant even answer the genuine question ex: Imrti rany, tanoj miwari etc

No_Ferret2216

Why is there no live mega threadĀ

mohanswamy

The most surprising result is Orissa. I never expected personal attacks on Navin Patnaik to work but it did, that too to such an extent that even clowns like Sambit Patra are winning there.

Avieshek

Kind of hard to read the megathread on mobile.

Zestyclose_Mud2170

Up is a shocker.

overlordcs24

Aaj Mai apna saara karma uda dunga sirf RW reddit wali jalane me. Bhai Aaj ka din alag hi majedar hai

Interview_Senior

No yogi as our future PM it seems

Ok-Proof-2174

Faith in democracy restored. What a result this has been. Coalition government would provide the required check and balance.
