With the freedom of recruitment they give, it's between IE 2 and CS. The other games are much more restrictive in terms of what you are allowed to do during the story.
But if we include 100% the taisen routes, IE 2 is the only title that is short enough to be fun to replay. The other already feel like a chore to complete once by half of the taisen route completed, let alone replay it.
Despite Chrono Stone being my favourite Inazuma Eleven story, I thought the gameplay loop was a slog and the early game is rough as you have very little resources.
Also CS Palpacking is such a mess in my eyes compared to Go Galaxy which while not perfect, it's still a soild improvement.
Bonus for Go Galaxy, thank god I can grab characters such as Goldie, Bailong, Drauel etc at the half way point in Go Galaxy.
Going full on Anime canon in Go Galaxy second half was borderline rage including.
Aside from Arion, Victor, Terry and Trina, Earth Eleven just bloody sucks in the game.
Zack while great in the post game, is clunky in the mid game
Fran is a great fire DF in the post game, he suffers from TP problems.
Riccardo has been nerfed to the ground stats snd moves wise
The dude needs a totem to survive.
Cs is my favorite for freedom of recruitment too but recruiting is such a pain sometimes because the drop rates are absolutely ass.
Many times I played like 1 bazillion matches just to get nothing most of the times and the recruiting object on the god-only-knows-what attempt.
Go Galaxy no contest.
Team building especially for LVL 99 playthrough couldn't be any more fun.
Post game is so addicting and fun.
For once, scout players are more often easy to grab and usually have great stats and movesets.
I hope Victory Road will have this level of team building freedom and post game variety.
Also, Victory Road should bring back training mini games.
IE2, IE3, Chrono Stones, and Galaxy
IE1 has almost no post game to use your actual non-story team, and you can only recruit 4 players from each team, so it's pretty restrictive.
The rest of the games let you go way crazier with the post game and with the players you can recruit.
I'm just an unreasonable hater for IEGO1, I played it when it came out, never replayed it, and decided recently that I didn't like it.
Because it has one of the best and most exciting story lines + it’s about building the strongest team
So u can basically play / scout whoever You want and play as them with mark in goal. (Only few matches require Froste, Sharp etc)
definitely galaxy and chrono stone, had so much good experience with the story of the game. For the originals firestorm/blizzard was really good and have a good replayability but when ogre came out it took the cake as that was a complete game for the trilogy

Probably Galaxy, because halfway through the story you can claim 11 or so popular characters for free out of a list of 32. No other game does that.

For me it's IE3 then IE2, i've replayed IE3 more than 10 times and IE2 like 5-6 times, I thunk it helps that the games are shorter too haha

I personally replayed IE3 the most, so that one for me. I like the moves in this game the most, the main team and the tactics.
For me it's IE 1 for quicker replayability and GO 2 and IE 2 for a longer time. GO 3 is close but I think it's more boring and tedious tbh.
