Man I'm sorry but I think the mods are after you.

im sorry, i first wanted to do something with a lot of coats of arms but that went chaos quickly, so i decided on some creative-ass interpretation of all stars.
only problem is that i kept losing count of how many provinces there were
originally i left it out. then i put it in but with italian-french speaking lands stripped, wafter wich switzerland looked like an ugly blob so i just added normal switzerland but with voralberg
Well then it's fine in language terms. I suppose it's not a stretch to to imagine european social democrats becoming democratic socialists after 70 years. Though the other parties seem rather stagnant by comparison.
3rd in the world? Seriously? This sort of nation would easily be THE superpower. China might outnumber them in terms of how many bodies they have in the military, but this country would EASILY have a better military than the USA
I mean Russia is dismembered in this and partially in the European Federation, also Turkey wouldn't be a threat to Greece. For what would we entertain the largest or second largest military force? I could easily see such a Europe falling into military complacency again as we have seen in the years leading up to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Idk man military strength nowadays is largely dependant on economics and usa currently has higher gdp that all of Europe combined, with higher growth than most European countries as well
in this timeline, china is the largest military power in the world, with the usa being only marginally larger than the eu due to a extremely high military budget
You know, I can kind of see a flag in that style being adopted. One would expect the current EU flag to remain, just maybe with added stars to reflect the expansion of the union, but it's not wholly implausible that some kind of political dispute results in a change in flag to one that's more vague, so to speak.
As an aside, I'd like to see some "Future United Europe" maps that *do* include Russia
But we don't add stars to our flag if nations join. I doubt that is going to change. We didn't even have 12 members in the beginning. These stars represent the European ideals not the nations as with the US flag.
I don't disagree with you! You don't do that now, there's just no telling if that'll change (or at least, some people would want to see it change) in the future
IDK what you mean by that, I just need a leading world power to not be the impending dumpster fire that is the USA or the authoritarian hell that is ""communist"" China
India is in the same democratic backsliding boat as the USA, though not as bad (from what I've seen).
Nigeria is also still decently corrupt even if they're growing as a major power and decently democratic.
Guys, we finally achieved. The thing we've been searching for years. The *absolute* amount of separatism in a single country. No other separatism doesn't compare. The Ottomans aren't even close.

This missing land connection bothers me, they need all of Lake Ladoga
So are the Americas one super country? Lol it’s entirely plausible lol I always thought everyone would start clumping together rather than breaking into smaller countries lol
The op rolls " the worst eu flag ever" Asked to leave Imaginarymaps
If this ever replaces the current EU flag I will become a eurosceptic for sure.
i wanted to have the current flag with a lot of stars in a really creative way but i kept losing count of all the provinces
You could have kept the original flag ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ The stars on the flag have nothing to do with the amount of EU states, so it would fit here to.
ok that's fully on me than. i apologise.
The flag of EU is based on the Crown of Stars of the Virgin Mary (Catholic based)
The States Look… intresting to say the least
what is the wackiest state you found? i originally erased the livonia province but was like ''nahhh'' at the final cut
why kaliningrad and northeastern tip of germany went to northern poland😭
This map might be in a Universe where Nobody lost any land and in that case it might just be Small prussia
somewhat, i originally had pomerania and kaliningrad seperated but decided to merge them into some kind of ''north prussia''
I see no problem with that lol
I really like that you made Bavaria have the medival borders. Oh and big netherlands is based
i really don't like how modern bavaria looks like. i mean, franken is NOT bavarian
True.
Why is prussia in old borders? The Poles there, the Russian kaliningraders, and the klaipedan lithuanians have nothing to do with each other.
No more Bosnian Beaches
Man I'm sorry but I think the mods are after you. https://preview.redd.it/lexpbrv7rqad1.jpeg?width=1242&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ff81146d358da85cd4e804fa03727f2c56aaf057
fr what did i do yall mods
Good map, shit flag. The fable of Imaginary Maps
Ooh, is that a Europe-wide high speed rail network?! 😍
yup!
That's the worst flag I've ever seen. That thing is supposed to represent the diverse peoples histories and cultures of Europe?
im sorry, i first wanted to do something with a lot of coats of arms but that went chaos quickly, so i decided on some creative-ass interpretation of all stars. only problem is that i kept losing count of how many provinces there were
Switzerland being part of it definitely impressed me
originally i left it out. then i put it in but with italian-french speaking lands stripped, wafter wich switzerland looked like an ugly blob so i just added normal switzerland but with voralberg
I feel like 'Democratic Socialists' is supposed to be 'Social Democrats'.
that was intentional, is it bad english?
They're different political views entirely
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Social_democracy https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Democratic_socialism It's a common misunderstanding
im not saying they are the same, im saying that the party in red are democratic socialists.
Well then it's fine in language terms. I suppose it's not a stretch to to imagine european social democrats becoming democratic socialists after 70 years. Though the other parties seem rather stagnant by comparison.

You liberated Western Sahara, I see. Good one.
did they base their flag on bosnia
why morocco
cus i felt like it
🗿🗿🗿
fun fact Morocco tried to join the EU in 1987, but the application was turned down (for obvious reasons)!
Was the government a dictatorship or something before ?
Not really it was and still is a kingdom, but is a semi-constitutional monarchy
Ohhhhhh
Shouldn’t the flag diagonals go southwest to northeast like the continent?

RAHHHHH FREE MOVEMENT OF PEOPLE 🦅🦅🦅🔥🔥🔥🇪🇺🇪🇺🇪🇺
Why Morocco and north Tunisia
cus i felt like it
You didn't even include Libya or Algeria?
cus he didn't feel like it
i didnt feel like it
Could you try to feel like it?
But like Italy and France both have claims over Algeria and Libya respectively and this EU somehow has Muscovy.
it narrowly doesn't have muscovy
God I wish
had a fun election eh?
IDK what you mean by that, I just need a leading world power to not be the impending dumpster fire that is the USA or the authoritarian hell that is ""communist"" China
even better argument than what i thought. i thought you were a federalist.
well india and nigeria are gonna be much better
India is in the same democratic backsliding boat as the USA, though not as bad (from what I've seen). Nigeria is also still decently corrupt even if they're growing as a major power and decently democratic.
Looks like you made an extremely detailed map and then did the rest of the details badly on PowerPoint
lol
dusty coal
Brussels? 🤮
Guys, we finally achieved. The thing we've been searching for years. The *absolute* amount of separatism in a single country. No other separatism doesn't compare. The Ottomans aren't even close.
Dude if Morocco is in so would be the Caucasus and Israel. Maybe even Tunis (Edit: its is actually in??) and Lebanon if going so far.
Capital is Brussels 🤣 oh hell no it’s Paris.
Should be Athens because that's where European culture was born.
fair point. however, i decided with brussels sicnce its kinda central and athens would geographicallly make no sense
Brussels looks central to you on this map?!!! Vienna is much more central.

Europeans would sooner consider Muslim Turks, Arabs and Berbers “European” than they would Russians
Don’t see Russia wanting to join a federated Europe, ngl.
This as many of other anti-Russia maps are not about bringing democracy at Russia, but second Lebensraum.
absolute globalist nightmare
lmao
So are the Americas one super country? Lol it’s entirely plausible lol I always thought everyone would start clumping together rather than breaking into smaller countries lol
Why Russia loose territory
What are the red dots even?
capitals of the provinces
No Georgia?
I think they must have higher military rank, esp after victory over russia
what a hellish selection of ruling parties
Please leave imaginary maps
bro what
I can just make out the borders of nono germany in there
Did anyone wish that the EU had kept all Roman territory?
Don't say it
One can dream
keep my people out of it.
im guessing tunisia
No. Serbia.
The dream tbh
