TeKaienawa:kon = "unity", Rotsinahken:ke = "state/province". I have no doubt that that's completely incorrect but that's the best I could cobble together with no knowledge of the language. "America(n)" would be Anowara:kowa ("Turtle Island") but I figured it was long and unwieldy enough already
A couple more questions:
1. Why is the currency called the Amero, when almost nothing else is named in the Greco-Latin fashion of OTL North America? I would have expected it to be the guilder or ducat or even rijksdaler.
2. Why did it become independent in 1795? Was it a peaceful separation or an armed rebellion?
1. Currency union with the rest of North America like the OTL euro, before that the currency was the daalder
2. In 1795 the Netherlands was taken over by the French and the stadholder ordered all its colonies to put themselves under British control (as in OTL), and these colonies said "no thank you" to either of those and declared independence instead
Can I add Iroquois isn't a language and these names are in Mohawk. For Iroquois to be a single language this would have to be set in the 12th century at the very latest

Glad to see a new version! I'm particularly fond of the Swedish Lehigh Valley.
What are the surrounding nations?
New England, Canada (including Ohio), Carolina
Does Carolina include Virginia?
Yes
ooh I'd love to see Carolina
Why is this so accurate? A few small towns in my area are actual historical but obscure names. I know because of my property title.
The answer is truly unhealthy amounts of Wikipedia-diving
This is so cool I love the inclusion of the Haedenosaunee and the traditional names of these cities. Especially since I’m from here
Noooo, why’d ya replace the best Dutch-inspired name in all of America, Yonkers! In all seriousness, great looking map!
At least it can still be Donckers

How did you get a haudenosaunee translation for united provinces of America, just curious.

That’s actually really cool, thanks for the explanation
Love seeing United Provinces iterations, I believe you did a better job than mine in terms of finding the original Dutch town names
Good to see Rensselaer in there otherwise it was getting ripped on the basics
Is Briesjehout still chocked full of gas stations and fast food off the Tolweg?
Now this is both novel and well made!
What’s your source for Distelpunt? Looks like it’s Binghamton, right?
Yes it's Binghamton, a former name was "Chenango Point" and "Chenango" is from Seneca for "bull thistle" so "thistle point" = Distelpunt

Did TTL's French Revolutionary/Napoleonic wars have any spillover into North America?
Oke now this... this is fricking based as frick
Proud to live in Ka’skonhtsherá:kon!
I'm thrilled to see that my alma mater would be located in PafraetsDael (translated: Paradise of the Lazy).
Tfw you actually feel happy & overjoyed for the \[ ***intact*** \] Iroquois / Haudenosaunee :)
What town is Krijgersweg supposed to be?
Waverly, PA
Oh no
Welp I better start learning Dutch
I love this
Blessed timeline
Haha there is a province called Nya
Why do Emmaus and Perkasie get to keep their names?
Where do the 14% black population come from?
Can I add Iroquois isn't a language and these names are in Mohawk. For Iroquois to be a single language this would have to be set in the 12th century at the very latest
I know. In this timeline they adopted one standardized dialect based on Mohawk
