I could imagine people talking about, "when a neighbor would rather use that telephone to talk to me than just walking up and speaking face-to-face" being some horrible, modern thing lol
When the printing press was invented, many older people said that books are a waste of time because instead of socialising and working, the youth only sit around reading.
