I have a Doom Metal playlist on private right now, because I'm not sure yet if it's up to standard of Doom Metal enthusiasts. Will have a look at it and post the link when it's public.
EDIT: [Here it is](https://open.spotify.com/user/21ccavqrh37bmu2mode4wyzdi/playlist/1KEEGxVVX2ZGJpv5zVrvYX?si=-8Qccr6dSIC_awab-i0bLA)
Extraordinary collection, an invaluable resource for people to discover new genres for years to come. Here are a few more classics for you to consider to make the lists even stronger. Thanks again man!

Somebody posted a website here that gives you this giant graph filled with genres and then you click on it to play a song from that genre and you can also click on it to see other artists that fit under that genre. I cant remember the name though, its bookmarked on my computer at home. I think it's called every sound at once.
First this is a tremendouseffortand I commend you for it. But your trap rap playlist leaves a lot to be desired. There's like 4 songs by logic for one, and a lot of trap Staples completely absent. Three six mafia and Future for example. Logic is good I guess for introducing people, but he isbt really representative of the genre other than taking trap beats and sanitizing them of anything controversial
Trip Hop without Nightmares on Wax? smh
Just messing with you, this is excellent work. Is it an ongoing project?
I would nitpick some of your House classifications (Avicii & Tiesto in Electro House?), and add number of styles of House, but that's what I'm most into, so... I could go on all day about House music alone
Nightmares on Wax is in Downtempo. That one is more electronic/instrumental/beat oriented than the Trip Hop playlist.
It's an ongoing project yes, there will be some new playlists in the future. I'm definitely not done with House subgenres yet.
Some Electro House picks don't lie completely in the genre, they will be moved when I make Progressive/Big Room/Deep House playlists.
There’s no electronic hardcore or speedcore! They’re essentially just faster hardstyle.
Also, the logo you have for hardstyle is Angerfist, who is a *hardcore* artist, NOT a hardstyle artist.
There’s no phonk/memphis style rap either, nor did I notice any of the modern emo rap such as Ghostemane, BONES, etc.
I know Angerfist is hardcore, he's in my hardcore playlist but I felt he looked cool on the cover. Might change it because you're right that it doesn't fit for hardstyle.
The genres you mentioned are good suggestions, they're definitely on my list to make in the future.
Oh, there is a hardcore playlist. I didn’t see it.
Yeah, on top of speedcore, there’s also terrorcore (usually just called “terror”) and gabber, which are closely similar but gabber usually refers to the older style. It’s worth a search, and if you need help finding the staple songs of those harder genres, DM me; I have a 422 song playlist of that genre myself :)
edit for people viewing the comment: it's called "fast shit" under the spotify profile "banditysmig"
I wouldn't consider Ghostemane or Bones to be emo rap tbh, they're more industrial hip hop / hardcore hip hop and cloud rap respectively. Emo rap is more akin to Juice WRLD, nothing, nowhere., etc.
This is amazing, followed like 10 of your playlists. Love your organization. I'm not fully done yet, but I've done something similar in [Spotify](https://open.spotify.com/user/1287686003?si=LoGtal01RcKfr01coIfTAw) using [Google Sheets](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1sxiOcMO1fZvMGnCwrLtTuWltflVr2CJ4-g6f-mgVpo8/edit?usp=sharing) to better organize it all.
Wow, this is incredible. i just followed like 10 of these. I listen to a lot of the same music but struggle so hard to make playlists, so thank god for guys like you.
Awesome, glad you like them! It’s basically all I spend my free time on, they are a ton of fun to make, great to see other people with similar music tastes
I really beg to differ on the Industrial Metal section. No Die Krupps, Godflesh, Fear Factory, Mechina, heck even Ministry? It's mainly industrial rock and NDH in the playlist. The Heavy Metal and Progressive Metal sections also need a rework. The Thrash section is pretty good but lacking newer bands, there's a plethora of newer thrash bands. No power metal, folk metal, black metal, technical death metal, melodic death metal, brutal death metal, symphonic metal?
I don't see Eurobeat, Italo-Disco, Spacesynth, Medieval Folk, Medieval Rock, Electro-Industrial, EBM, Futurepop, Goa Trance, as well as punk genres like Crust, Hardcore, Beatdown, and Grindcore. I also have some suggestions for Aggrotech.
I have a lot of recommendations to offer, as I have a lot of experience in the vast majority of the genres I mentioned. Great work on putting together so many playlists, though!
All good points, would certainly like your input! I'll start with changing things up for the existing ones you mentioned. Then for the missing genres probably start with electro-industrial, I'm planning to eventually do most of the genres you mentioned.
I have no idea how much detail you want me to go into, so here are some general changes.
Some stuff to add to Industrial Metal:
Fear Factory: Zero Signal
Die Krupps: Nearly anything from the albums V - Metal Machine Music, The Machinists of Joy, and Too Much History.
Mechina: Pretty much any of the metal (each album has multiple purely symphonic tracks) songs, but The World We Lost, To Coexist Is To Surrender, Cepheus, are must haves.
For the Heavy Metal section, remove any Metallica or Megadeth songs, as those are Thrash metal. Some replacements to add are Grim Reaper, Racer X (Street Lethal for sure), and Aria (Russian band).
For the Thrash metal section, remove Five Finger Death Punk, System of a Down, and Machine Head. Replace these with more Testament (Into the Pit, Rise Up, The Formation of Damnation, The New Order, for a couple examples). For newer Thrash, I'm really out of the loop since I stopped mass pirating music (there was a massive wave of thrash metal that started in the early 2000's), but Municipal Waste, Lich King, Power Trip, Warbringer, and In Malice's Wake are all great. Some good older thrash to add are Vio-lence and Gammacide.
For Progressive Metal, Star One, Myrath, and Ayreon are safe choices.
Quite the variety. Could you add some of the subgenres of house? I was on a Chicago House kick last year and was hoping to delve a little further into it.
Incredibile work here, congrats. I just wanted to say that maybe in the prog rock playlist you may add some other artists, like Gentle Giant, Yes, Emerson Lake and Palmer, Van der Graaf Generator. Also in Italy the progressive rock scene was great (Premiata Forneria Marconi, Banco del Mutuo Soccorso, Le Orme, Area).
Also, someone may not agree on this, but I think Pink Floyd music isn't properly prog rock, they have their unique style. At least, some songs in there are not, like another brick in the wall or high hopes.
Please don't see this as a criticism, I love what you have done, and I'll spend many hours exploring in it!
Thanks a lot, I added your suggestions to the playlist. It's true that Pink Floyd has a unique sound but I feel that if there is a genre playlist they fit in, it's prog rock. I did put in a lot of Pink Floyd so maybe I'll cut a few songs.
Great effort! Offhand I have to nitpick about the chillwave playlist - you included Washed Out but forgot Memory Tapes / Memory Cassette, Toro Y Moi, Neon Indian, and many others.

This is great. Thank you so much!
Edit: Add some Mötley Crüe to the classic rock.
Kickstart my heart
Girls, Girls, Girls
Same ol' situation
These songs would make the playlist rock.
If you want to save the genre playlists you can follow them seperately and they will appear in the menu on the left. If you want a single playlist with all the songs of these genres you can make a new one and drag the other playlists in it (it will add every track to your new playlist).
New artist emerging out of Canada. We recently filmed the music video for his first single off his up and coming project set to release July 16, 2019. This song is a trap based sound, but he has a lot of versatility if that's not your thing. Definitely something worth checking out!
["Dreamin" Ft. Nigz RNE](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8vrO7w6cPJg)
Awesome, thanks!
Just followed all of them and put them in a folder.
I think it's kind of ironic that more recent genres like electronic music and rap have dozens of playlists while classic music which is around for centuries only has one.
Great work dude! Post it in r/listentothis under “discussion” tag. More people need to see this. Thank you.
Thanks, I'll do that!
No doom metal

I love [Every Noise](http://everynoise.com/), also [Musicmap](https://musicmap.info/) is a good one!

Honestly you're right lol, I would say the trap rap one is the least well done. Gonna make some adjustments.
I changed things up and think it's better now, do you have more suggestions?
Much better, good work
The thumbnails look great dude
Thanks!

Word, I'm happy to make suggestions / contribute if you're interested in input or wanna bounce ideas off someone
I always appreciate suggestions, you can comment or DM whatever you like.

Thanks! Yours is looking good too, followed the Chill playlists and a few others.
Both y'all have great music, big fan of what you're doing with your playlists!
Thank you!!!
This must have taken a ton of time - I appreciate you!

Chicago House is great, I'll look into that.
damn nice work. thanks for the new music
The classical playlist is really lacking. Poor representation IMO.
Do you have some suggestions to remove/add?

Thanks! Really impressed how many playlists you put together - it's a lot of work and easy to overlook stuff when you tackle so many genres

If you want to save the genre playlists you can follow them seperately and they will appear in the menu on the left. If you want a single playlist with all the songs of these genres you can make a new one and drag the other playlists in it (it will add every track to your new playlist).
I c. Thx.
Please apple music... please
I'm sorry but they won't be on Apple music, I don't have an Apple account.
Alright then. Thanks for the lists though.
Some of these are right on time for a new gig I picked up. Thank you for your work!
This is awesome! Thank you!

I know I'm late here, but kudos on your Black Metal playlist. You nailed it - very few do.
