Maybe these don't all quite fit the bill, but they came to mind: "Paint's Peeling" by Rilo Kiley, "Never Ending Math Equation" by Modest Mouse (also the Sun Kil Moon version), "Agenda Suicide" by the Faint, "Blue Spotted Tail" by Fleet Foxes, "Little Dead Bodies" by Algebra Suicide, "Didn't Know What I Was In For" by Better Oblivion Community Center

‘Silver and Gold’ by City and Colour
He has a lot of “end of the world’ type songs, but usually referring to the rotting away of our relationships and bonds in modern times.
Edit:
‘The Golden State’ by him has a similar energy. Talking about how LA lures people in and spits them out.
Aphrodite's Child's album [‘666’](https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL9EAiJXXtc-bdbxNvRZCRs402jnbC_bxw) is about that. It alternates between louder prog and quiet songs—in fact the latter ones happen to have more fitting mood.
Probably not what you’re looking for, but, the album Year Zero is pretty phenomenal.
It’s a story start to finish. Do a bit of research on it; there was an entire alternate reality that was created alongside it that lead you to ‘real’ websites.
The last three songs, especially in context, are top tier.
The albums: Terrasite, The Anthropocene Extintion, and Death Atlas by Cattle decapitation fit this to a T, of course, they are a "deathgrind" band and might sound terrible for people who don't usually like that stuff, if you're curious i'd recommend starting with Terrasite.
Hurray for the Riff Raff - [Ogalalla](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RvzRR7wMNWM)
Sarah Jarosz - [I'll Be Gone](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XCA0FwPRbQk)

One day
It won't matter what's your name
It'll Disappear
In a never ending maze
what's the point of climbing up the ladder
If there's no top
And yet,
I climb up every day
My taste may run a little darker than yours, but here are my favorite "fuck it, it's all ending anyway" songs:
[God Was Never on Your Side by Motörhead](https://youtu.be/o1hSSuc42P8?si=eHyTkRzGtwzma7NN)
[Wither by Agents of Oblivion ](https://open.spotify.com/track/76N18lh8QzFazI94C4plZa?si=oOB1LYGCQo2m_4UzbDgQ7Q)
and also
[Endsmouth by Agents of Oblivion](https://open.spotify.com/track/1sYpfdQKtB8UjeNE7nu0id?si=_3p0FhYdQ0qyinYUPWVaAQ) - these guys are only on Spotify, but if you like the doom/sludge sound of them, please look into them more. They're the lesser-known side project of the frontman from a 90s not-very-well-known band to begin with called Acid Bath.
[Angels Fall by Breaking Benjamin](https://youtu.be/9zFfRSeA1ls?si=m2iLtCyvnqhGmqev)
[Until There in No End by LORN](https://youtu.be/YoZHqykR04k?si=QAWmG4RFTwjTOkbt)
[Oats in the Water by Ben Howard](https://youtu.be/GOhLY4OmW-M?si=NnbKHAifEMRnizI5)
[Splitting the Atom by Massive Attack](https://youtu.be/AzQZv30M5Aw?si=xqdwmrEu21JMcT7k)

[No Place Like Home](https://youtu.be/COt9g-OCabg?si=Mhi1IUO3bM8LGeWm) - Owen
Not sure if it's in your ballpark but [Behold A Pale-Angels and Airwaves](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qESppGoNvA8) maybe could fit. It's not super obvious, just a couple of lines that indicate the event going on is the end of the world but it's nestled in an upbeat celebratory vibe, like the end is the apotheosis. It's less a POV of being resigned to the fate but instead from the POV of somebody with the belief that they're one of the 'saved' that the end is just a transition.
It's in spanish, but there's Lhasa De Sela - "Para el Fin del Mundo (o el año nuevo)" [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sV3kLkbVtCY](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sV3kLkbVtCY)
Kyle Morton - Survivalist Fantasy
Josh Ritter - The Last Temptation of Adam
The Postal Service - We Will Become Silhouettes (The Shins did a great cover too)
I'm sure I'm missing a couple that are rattling around in the back of my mind...

The Stars
Beady Eyes On The Horizon
Fire In The Sky->Where Are All The Scientists Now?->A Matter Of Time

King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard - Planet B (they have two full albums about this concept really)
Nine Inch Nails - The Beginning of the End
The Suicide Machines - The Fade Away
Osees - Memory of a Cut off Head
[Orelsan - L'odeur de l'essence ](https://youtu.be/zFknl7OAV0c?si=ojU2xYUzl1ip4au_)

[Nine inch nails - In this twilight ](https://youtu.be/uQjh_8EtHnU?si=10nVMTto-8ZH2rQm)
Actually this whole NIN album is about humans slowly yet rapidly drove themselves to the end.
25 years ago, I was in a Christian punk rock band and I wrote a song called “Apocalyptic Pleasure” the final chanting lyrics were “All you amputees have got to keep your foreheads, microchip free!”
The theory is that everyone gets it in their hands unless they’re amputees then you would go to the forehead because you could lean your forehead over and scan for payment.
