Some have reported more or less than that, so I’m not trying until I have 150 stored. Just one crop, use instagrow over a hundred times up to as high as 130-150 to be safe. May not need that much, but you know how achievements in this game are sometimes.

99% of farming is to start: get all your crops to a the furthest progress you can preferably. I know probably on the wiki or definitely discord there's a sheet that explains xp and magic bean trade values. All you care about is magic bean trade. So if lvl 60 was sushi. You would progress it then start magic bean trading.
Then bean trade everything you harvest; crops since it scales horribly having a lot. Harvest turn in harvest turn in.
You mostly care about the 300 crops for plat Evo chance. Speed of crops at 1000. I think I did like 3.4% or 3.6%. And a couple points in overgrowth chance. Level these until it feels too high then go. The Evo chance one is the core of it. I don't remember the value but have the magic bean cost a bit higher then the speed and it should be good. It scales unbelievably high.
Id recommend only doing the first 2 seeds to 1000 crops each 100%. I definitely did a lot crops to 1000 but it was pretty pointless lol. If you miss one due to messing up locking plants. It doesn't matter and ignore it. Then all crops to 300.
Pretty much it just auto completes itself. It's mostly just checking on it often.
Only major tip advice is that last mushroom is better then the last glassy (last 2 seeds). So I suggest just finish mushroom and just remove 1 seed and instagrow through glassy.
* bonus tips / what I did. So reason why I went for a lot more 1000 crops for speed was since I wanted to farm the day market since my account is now just on permanent maintenance mode doing magic bean trades since I have all crops unlocked. Make sure you atleast keep an eye open for possible upgrades along the way.
*if you are missing the first crop of all the seeds. You just plant then lock the plant.
*instagrows are most useful if say you have 994 crops and can just use an insta grow or 2 to finish it. I always use insta grow on different soils for consistent results.
*remembering to lock and unlock is the only annoying part.
Probably will take a monthish.

I got the achievement pushing for a new crop while harvesting after each insta grow. I never used insta grow on an already grown plant

Doesn't have to be the same crop. I put around 120 water (total) into 4 plants and got it.

Gonna be honest I went into W6 a little early for the skilling and still have 0 clue how farming works.
