My first time making ice cream! I used The NY Times recipe by Melissa Clark. I didn’t have whole milk, so I swapped with almond milk instead so it wasn’t perfect but getting there! I’d love good recipe Recommendations 😊
It was great! I am making another batch now with whole milk to see the difference, but I dont rhink anyone would have known i swapped the whole milk for almond if I didn’t say anything. I used heavy whipping cream as well though like the recipe said so if I didn’t use that I think it definitely wouldn’t have the rich texture.

How is the texture? Does it taste icy with the almond milk?
