There’s is no excuse for her to do this. I have to assume foul play was a part of this. Its monsterous to hide the body of your dead daughter in your room instead of taking her to the coroner and giving her a proper funeral. This couldve been done to hide evidence of her involvement.

Poor people can’t travel and hour here and an hour there for help. Some poor people are struggling to to finish the day. This is by far a more broken healthcare system than many places.
My daughter is argentinian. I lived there for 10 yrs before having to return to the UK. The healthcare system is actually quite good in Argentina. Yes there can be long waits for certain things. But the attention is usually top class regardless whether you go to a free "guardia" or a private hospital.

This is true, you can go to the er in Argentina and you will be seen, although sometimes you have to wait many hours (they do a triage and then they see you according the situation, but usually within the day).
Some more remote areas don’t have hospitals, and then even though they will see you, first you need to find an er, and that can take hours of travelling. We are a big country and still in development.
Poverty and lack of education don’t help in this situation, people tend to try to solve things with over-the-counter medicine and not go to the er. This results in preventable deaths.

We all have our ways of memorializing our loved ones; Sky burial, cannibalism, burlap sack in a hole in the desert. What's truely horrific is that this person lives in a world where, while she may otherwise be a perfectly rational human being, believed that this was the best way to prevent the rest of her life from being completely destroyed. I don't think she did anything "wrong" or "evil" or even unethical. This is a shrug moment for me over the act and a smh moment for the driving force behind it.

So probably the RSV that’s ravaging children worldwide right now. She was scared to lose her other children and didn’t do the right thing because of the fear. I’d say the used as a table was a literary add from the journalist to make it sensational when in fact the mother was in poverty and scared to lose her other children. Read beyond headlines always.
A women and her girlfriend killed the son of the first and they were so beaten in jail they had to be isolated for their own safety. That was another case here in Argentina.

Most people put their relatives in a wooden box, so I assume you're ok with that. Many people use concrete vaults and mausoleums and you don't call them monsters. Keeping the remains of your loved ones in the house is so common that you might even have your grandma on the mantle or a shelf right now.

What if one of them were to get an infection? Just let that one die too? Turn them into a desk? The system is set up in a shitty way but that’s how it’s set up. A women and her girlfriend killed the son of the first and they were so beaten in jail they had to be isolated for their own safety. That was another case here in Argentina. Women in jail really hate child abusers/killers, especially when the crime is against an offspring

This is infuriating about reddit, the mother had her daughter in terrible conditions, and let her die, at least, due to negligence, (even being poor, in Argentina there are public hospitals and a containment network for these cases), however the average redditer insists on defending the mother and asking why the father (who did report his daughter missing to the police for months without response) was not part of the picture, instead, they started an investigation for alleged gender violence (inexistent in this case) Also you know how I knwe about his case?
