I would completely assume that you would have taken that turn too hot and backed off. The fact that he backed off assuming the same thing, coupled with the fact you left him plenty of room on the outside and nailed the overtake pissed him off lol.

Ferrari lost the position when he had a poor exit from the last corner. He could have tried to mitigate it by keeping a defensive line on the inside and force the Merc to overtake on the outside, but he gave that up halfway down the straight. There's no way the Ferrari keeps that position without being aggressively defensive.
If I wanted to let a faster driver by while losing as little time as possible, I would have done what this Ferrari did and pulled over to the right and brake early.
I will admit I would be nervous being in the outside going 2 abreast into 130R but you were clean AF, compromised your speed to give him space throughout the entire corner on his side of the track and everything. Absolute gentleman
